“The doors I bought were very good but I had some glazed and some six panel doors. The six panel doors had an uneven margin between the edge of the door framing to the edge of the moulded edge of the panel which did show when looked at close up, which was a little disappointing”

“Doors arrived in good time, was pleased with my purchase, however, I had an issue with one of them and contacted customer services for some advice, got an initial response but nothing after that even though I had sent an additional 2 messages. So my issue remains unresolved. I was very disappointed in the customer service”

“This review refers to a Coventry Walnut door. I have recently purchased a Coventry Walnut Door and I must say I am not impressed with the quality of the door. There are hard to remove glue residues along the sides of the glass panels and two cracks on the surface of the veneer panels near to the junction between the stiles and the rails. In addition, the door had to be trimmed to size. Disappointingly, the hardwood lipping around the core seems to be made of a timber other than walnut meaning that there is now a marked contrast between the surface of the door and the lateral sides. Note that the trimmed part has been finished following the recommendation of the manufacturer.”

“Order went well. Delivery not so good as the driver wasn’t told the special delivery instructions so got lost. Frame is great. Door looked good until it was fitted then a day later it started to come apart! Not great quality and now customer service is poor. I’m expected to take the door off and send it back! Leaving a hole where my door should be!”

“Honestly was looking forward to these pair of oak doors arriving, packaged up very good, opened doors and a big chunk half was down of the door was missing exposing inner core of the door, spoke to customer service who were less than helpful, no clear guidance on how to return and fobbed off, so yeah lovely doors, apart from damaged.”

“Delivery of doors was excellent, driver was very professional and pleasant. Door quality was ok the only reason I’m saying this is because when they were inspected on delivery they seemed to be ok but once hung I did notice slight faults in the lacquer for example over spray, lacquer on glass. Maybe quality control should make more of an effort when inspecting the finished product. But saying all that I would consider ordering again.”

“Door arrived in good condition however delivery was not as stated on the website. Took just under 4 weeks to arrive when the website stated 3-5 days. I called and they then stated up to 10 working days. Received a dispatch notice with no follow up for weeks. If you don’t have the stock don’t sell the item.”

“Delivery was very good. Substituted one door I selected for another similar type, without asking. The oak veneered door timber, was very mixed, making it very noticeable.”

“Doors came on time , so no problems there . Joints coming apart and veneer poorly finished and damaged on joint (manufacturing fault)can’t be bothered to send them Back as just hassle and needed to hang them to get the job finished .”

“Brilliant customer service good delivery the doors from x l joinery I suppose not bad for money but I am traditional joiner and would never use veneer outside but needs protecting well some joints opening up my stable door looks the part didn’t pay a lot so expect dowelled joints the frame good”

“We ordered our doors from LPD doors in Leeds and they made a complete mess of it. Sent only one of a pair. I kept phoning, sent pics etc. Never heard. Tried all week. Lost my builders, job stalled. I was having kittens thinking I'd been stiffed (they were expensive!) Had to contact Moda direct. They sorted it pronto and sent the doors. Still waiting for the handle set. PS nice doors.”

“Door delivery was fine the hinges I ordered with the door still haven’t arrived. I called Moda and they weren’t that interested..! Not sure how I am going to hang the doir without them?”

“Doors are pretty good but one has a slight twist in it which makes it not sit flush with the other door.”
