Awful customer service, ordered item online, item was not what was ordered. Even know the promise 100% satisfaction when I requested a refund it was declined terrible company, will not use again

Do not order online. My family ordered a cookie for my 30th birthday and it arrived completely stale and inedible. The birthday writing was also squashed on arrival and looked awful. We politely emailed Millie’s Cookies but were repeatedly ignored. They also do not pick up the phone and their voicemail is always full. After contacting them on social media multiple times and sending countless emails, we finally got a response. However, to our complete dismay after explaining the situation and sharing photos with customer service asking for a refund, they responded with “Refunds are given at the discretion of the company and having review this case unfortunately I do not see any grounds that warrant a refund”. The company has an 100% guarantee and even with the cookie arriving stale and offering to return it, we still were not refunded. After many emails back and forth, we were offered with an in store voucher despite living no way near one (and explaining this). Yet STILL we were told no refund would be given. The cookies are expensive and we were extremely disappointed to have experienced such terrible customer service. Millies Cookie’s Management team should be ashamed having allowed this to happen. If our cookie and experience was anything to go by, I would strongly advise never purchasing from here.

Arrived a day late when event was over. Looked like it had been drop kicked. Broken and icing so badly damaged you couldn't read the wording. Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering

Was having an aweful day and choose to cheer myself up with a giant cookie slice. Sadly they were out of stock i had just missed the last one. However the staff member made a great alternative item a kind of cookie and icing sandwich . It was amazing . Completly made my day :)

I ordered a giant doubled up cookie and 50 mini cookie for my daughter birthday I ordered in plenty.ty of time!4 days early and I paid a nominated day,time slot was Saturday 12.23,it did not arrive ,after ringing stores,emailing every ad I found contacting their delivery company I found that DHL don't even work after 12 Saturday so would not had got it anyway and miss millies are aware of this,it turned up Monday night 6 days of being in transit and ruined birthday,I'm offered wait for it...either refund of shipping fees or a evoucher for wait for it a single cookie,bare in mind my order was over £55!!!never again!!!it got returned back to them stale orders,no refund given as I don't accept just a refund for shipping fees or single cookie when they know exactly what we paid for,iv had to do a charge back through my bank to get refund

Arrived broken into pieces. I asked for a refund, they only offered 50% which is both unfair and illegal under consumer protection law. I put a claim in, got a full refund. Absolutely terrible service, won't be using them or any other brands SSP own.

Order a cookie paid £6 for next day delivery! The box had a massive sticker saying ‘must lay flat’ the delivery driver left it on my doorstep o it’s side leaving against the door! When i got home I open it to find the cookie had push again YeH cling foil and the icing had smudge , contacted customer service explained what happen sent picture and they said we don’t class that as damage but sorry for you feel let down ! How can you make a customer pay £6 for delivery for it to turn up damage and then say your complaint doesn’t justify a refund ! Customer service at its finest !!!!!!! Terrible

Absolute Joke of a Service! Please read before ordering a delivery. I see my daughter every other weekend and thought it would be a nice treat to have her a birthday cookie delivered. I ordered a cookie for my daughter's 18th birthday to be delivered on Saturday (Even paid extra for Saturday delivery). Was advised cookie would arrive between 2-3 on Saturday, nothing arrived. When I contact Millie's they tell to allow 3-5 days for delivery and refunds are discretionary. This cookie is of no use to my daughter now as she's not here.

I ordered my daughter’s birthday cookie over a month in advance and picked a particular date so that it would arrive on her birthday. I received a email midday to say that the cookie would now not be delivered today… not leaving me much time I had to drive in to town and waste 2 hours trying to get her a birthday cake replacement. Colin the caterpillar came to the rescue which I wish I had just bought prior and not wasted £25 on a cookie that has not arrived in time. I emailed Millie’s to be told it will be here tomorrow which is if no use to me, I asked for them to cancel delivery and they said it was within their fresh period… well I don’t consider a 3/4 day old cookie to be fresh and I will be asking the delivery driver to return it! Awful customer service and awful experience!

If I could give below one star I would. Cookie arrived round and not heart shape like I ordered. Cookie was a birthday gift for a dear friend of mine who had come to visit me from Australia after 4years. I contacted millies immediately who suprisingly responded promptly and offered a full refund or a replacement cookie. As my friend would not be staying long I accepted the full refund. A couple of weeks later I received a £3 refund into my paypal account along with an email to say that on this occassion my complaint did not warrant a full refund. Since this time I have been emailing Milloes backwards and forwards. They are still stating that I am a liar and no such full refund was offered! I have the emails as proof. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am utterly disgusted at the lack of respect that this company has for their customers. Spend your money else where and stay away from this lying, distrustful company. I have now taken this case to trading standards

I phoned up on numerous occasions from point of order to change the age I had ordered in error and was told the change had been made but it had not!!! So upset!!!!

Wouldn't even give them 1 star! Ordered a cookie online, came on the correct day but half of the cookie was missing. The half that did come the icing looked like a child had done it, half capitals, half lower case. The name was also spelt wrong. Immediately contacted via their website contact page, 4 days later we still haven't heard anything. We emailed directly and were told to use the contact form on the website.....that we had already used. This was for someone's special birthday during lockdown to cheer them up! What they're sending out to customers is absolutely appaulling and their customer service is non existent!! Definitely avoid ordering from Millie's cookies!!!

Pretty awful online. Do yourself a favour and go instore. Ordered one of their most expensive valentines cookies and it turned up pretty much looking nothing like the advert. All the colours of the icing were all washed out and the double layer lacking in substance. I reached out via twitter and was promised a full refund and a replacement cookie. I’ve now been told that message was sent in error and will only be given vouchers. It wouldn’t hurt if they’d told me the truth to start but to make matters worse they take an eternity to get back to you, and like I say, make false promises. First tome ordering online from them, and I will not be doing it again. Pay for a premium product and service, and you don’t get anything close to that mark.
