Delivery time was too far long.Spoke to customer service as soon as I’d realised as FedEx said they hadn’t got it yet and they said they’d try to recall the order, this didn’t happen, feed order was delivered a week later after I’d already had a delivery from someone else so I ended up paying over the odds with a high delivery charge for feed I didn’t need. Not impressed, won’t be using them again.

I used the 'click and collect' service. Although the colleagues in store were lovely, I wouldn't rate this service. I didn't receive any notifications of how my order was getting on so after 8 days of not hearing anything I went into store to find out what was going on with my order to find out my money had been taken but the order hadn't gone through to be collected. So I had to wait another week for my item after the people in store placed it correctly for me. Staff lovely but the click n collect service not good!

Bag of Fancy Feed layers pellets arrived with bag split and half the contents in the outer bag. The second bag ordered and received damaged. E mailed to advise Millbry but no response or acknowledgement. Realise it may have been fine on sending out but damaged in transit.

I would like to reassure you that we would not send out a parcel damaged, it will have sadly happened in transit as the feed bags are paper and we then secure them in a hessian sack, if they arent handled correctly by the lifter then they can become damaged. Although stated delivery time for item on my order via your website was 36-48hrs it took over a week to arrive at the store I'd selected for click and collect. No information on progress from you during that time. I thought you'd lost my order/had a stock control malfunction. Store was very helpful but computer system didn't tell them either where item was up to and they could check with no one at warehouse from Fri midday to Monday. Eventually item turned up on Tues, with no apologies. A disappointing experience.

I can confirm we advise our click and collects may take 3/5 working days to be ready in the chosen store to allow ourselves time to potentially transport the goods from another of our stores or warehouse to your chosen collection point. This is an estimated time and we always try to get it delivered to the store as soon as possible. I can see that you placed your order on the 6th and that we sent you an email on the 15th to advise it was ready for collection but you didnt attend to collect this until the the 26th. I appreciate we did take a little longer than usual to get this to our store but please bear in mind that we are currently extremely busy and are working with limited staff due to social distancing in the work place. Order placed 31/8 eventually received the order on the 14/9 have been trying to get the bigger size which was in stock...now it’s ours of stock so I’ll be wanting a full refund. Looked good on paper, didn’t live up to it though...

WEB356532 - When order arrived the box was crushed luckily none of the items were broke but 2 of the items were covered in dust and the waterproof dog coat looked previously worn or perhaps used as a demo piece

I rang before placing order to ask how long delivery would take I was assured no more than 5 days, so I placed the order. When the order did not arrive and I had notification it would be delivered 4 days later so it had taken 9 days to arrive, I messaged to cancel the order as it was too late and had no response at all. They did not despatch the order until 4 days after ordering ! It arrived to late to be any use to me. £80 wasted !!

Still waiting for an order of animal feed which was placed a fortnight ago. According to Millbry Hill, this is a fault with the delivery service, however I have still not received a response to my email asking when I can expect my order.

However, im a little confused by the nature of this review as i can see that at the checkout we provided you with an estimated delivery date of the 21.08.2020 and this was also clarified on your order confirmation. I can then see that your parcel was actually delivered on the 19.08.2020. Making it two days early. I ordered a baby grow for a present but when I saw that delivery was £4.95, (which is quite expensive) I decided to order something for myself too to make it worthwhile. After a few days, I received an email to say that one of the products was out of stock. I appreciate that this can happen from time to time. I replied to the email and explained that really I felt that the delivery should be refunded as £4.95 on a £12.00 product was expensive and also for the inconvenience caused. The member of staff replied to the email but with no reference to this point. It was as though they had glossed over it and didn’t want to respond. Next time I’ll order from places who either respond to the email and address my point or offer free delivery. Many thanks

I am very disappointed with the service I was provided. I ordered a set of hind boots and received 2 left leg hind boots. So it wasn’t a usable pair of boots as no right leg was given. I emailed about the fault and I was offered a return. I admittedly said no to the return but would like a right boot sent out. I was then email and literally only told they couldn’t find a right boot (so I wasn’t given any comfort or advise on how to fix my situation) Well after about 5 emails back and forth I did admittedly got fed up over email. I then received a very arsey email back from the customer service saying I had the last pair and nothing they could do about it (not sure why I wasn’t told I bought the last pair 5 emails before as I know understand why I cannot get a right boot sent out). I took the return but this still didn’t fix the situation of needing hind boots. I then asked about another set of boots on the website and asked if at all possible to get free postage for me to place another order with the company as I live in the country side and will have to make a specific journey and use my petrol to get to a post office to drop of the parcel for return which was an error on the company behalf in the first place. I have now been ignored for 5 days so take it the answer was no. Keep in mind I was getting reply’s the same day as I emailed before. Now a week and a half on from receiving my original order I am still without hind boots.

Hi Abbie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have looked into this order and i can see the correspondance you have had with our customer service team in relation to this issue. Through further inspection, we can see that our adviser apologised profusely for this error and had advised that its an older pair of boots from a previous season and that the boots were more than likely packaged incorrectly by the manufacturer as we didnt have the right boot in any of our stores or warehouses.. We needed to take the time to search all 5 of our stores and also the two warehouses to ensure that there wasnt a spare right boot for you as you were obviously wanted the boots you had purchased. We offered you a free return on these boots as we would never expect a customer to pay for the return of an incorrect item that had been sent and we also offered free postage off a pair of boots if you wanted to purchase an alternative pair. Please note that we are extremely busy at the moment due to our sale, the increased sales from the pandemic and are also operating on limited members of staff due to social distancing in the workplace and cannot respond as quickly as normal. Delivery took just under 2 weeks. When it arrived a card that was intended for a birthday that had since passed was damaged so had to be returned. Otherwise the items were good but the dispatch time has put me off reordering.

up until my last delivery i would have given a rating of 5 stars. however the last delivery was quite badly damaged and although i have been offered a refund on around 5 of the tins of cesar classics dog food, there are so many damaged and i am having to check carefully to make sure the contents have not gone off. one tin was disgusting, so badly rancid !! it had to be well wrapped before it could be disposed of.

Poor service - items arrived in a grass seed bag. Some items were damaged (with holes in) and could not be used for gifts as intended. Two prints that I had ordered were cellotaped together and thankfully, I managed to separate them without further damage to the items. Have emailed Millbry Hill a complaint, but have not had a response. Did get a refund on damaged items.

Can you please resend your email with pictures to sales@millbryhill.co.uk In relation to the grass seed bag ... its not a grass seed bag. Its a plain white hessian sack that we use as packaging for large and bulky orders that will not fit in some of our other packaging. I can confirm these are clean and brand new.
