“Mike Brewer gave the best and most realistic valuation of my car online (I tried them all). Appointment arranged to my convenience. I was greeted courteously and offered refreshment when I arrived at their Sheffield showroom by Tom Nicholson . Paperwork then car inspected thoroughly and test driven promptly when I arrived. Received offer only £50 under the online valuation for some undeclared scratches, stone chips and a small dent where someone had opened their door on rear wing. Paperwork completed and payment made into my bank promptly the next day (due to Bank Holiday). I was even given a lift to the Station on completion. Thanks Tom for the great service. I had tried to sell privately and received offers mainly from dealers scanning the adds hoping to pick up bargains that have not sold promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to buy your car.”

“You where a joy to deal with from start to finish,the price you offered for the car was the best we received,when we came to your Sheffield showroom we where greeted by a young lady on reception who looked after us while she got hold of Tom the salesman who we had got an appointment with,Tom was brilliant he looked round the car made a few notes went on test drive,we agreed on a price and all the paperwork and payment was sorted out very quickly,As I said before Tom was brilliant 12 out 10,thanks again.”

“I'm so happy - after a very low quote from webuyanycar.com - their online quote said 20,570, I started shopping around. Found Mike Brewer by accident in a google search. Thank god is all I can say - along with 2 other parties, they all quoted over 24k - MB was highest by a significant margin, so I took a chance and took the car there on Saturday. Their online price was 24,910 - I pointed out 2 stone chips in bonnet and some extra mileage totalling 200 miles extra - all they deducted was £30. The money was paid into my account Tuesday (after Easter). I will never go to those other sites again. Mike Brewer and his team at Luton were totally professional and did not reduce my online quote by ridiculous sums of money for small incidental marks. Mike Brewers team know that the cars they buy are used and price their adjustments properly and fairly. I left feeling like a totally valued customer with a massive smile on my face. Thank you all so much - I will be back next time I need to sell a car or indeed buy one. Oh, and the transfer of ownership was done online with DVLA immediately after I left - which means I get all my car tax back as well! My thanks to Abu and Jerome that looked after me at Luton.”

“Mike Brewer Buys your car, unless they decide they don't want it without any justification! Website lets you put in all of the car details etc, then book the appointment, which the Luton Branch rang and confirmed with me. Then around an hour later get a phone call to say they don't want the car, no real explanation, "it's not something they're not looking for" and no real apology. Incredibly poor experience!!”

Hello Richie, Thank you for giving us your feedback. Unfortunately, there was an error in our valuation system, which wasn’t picked up in time by our Luton office. It was picked up at Head Office, which is why you received the call after your appointment was confirmed so that you didn’t waste your time coming to the dealership. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and as you can see from our other reviews this isn’t our usual business practice.

“W,e arrived on time at your Luton garage, the receptionist was on the ball and very quickly we were into the detail of how the system worked, all explained in an unhurried style by Ben, who made sure we were comfortable with tea while he disappeared to do the paper work. The whole process took about twenty minutes, there was no discussion over valuation, no suggestion of any admin charges. Upon completion Ben transported us to the station, came into the ticket office, found our platform was on the opposite side of the station and insisted on driving around.I cannot speak highly enough about our reception and treatment, I honestly did not think this level of service existed in the car industry. “Met with Dave at the Sheffield office to sell my car . Wow what a refreshing experience in comparison of other car buying outlets. Friendly, professional, courteous. An absolute joy to deal with, superfast, top of the line service. Can't recommend them highly enough. If you are nervous about car dealers visit these guys. These guys will not rip you off. P.S. Only one thing missing......a few hobnobs to go with the splendid cuppa on offer :))”

“Let me start by being very positive the quoted amount for the description I met was paid and that is very honourable. The process at Mike Brewers Luton was mainly good . Issues regarded process I felt uncomfortable handing over Keys and Logbook for a one page document and a promise that payment will be made and it could take up to 5 days. It was completed that day.. Also by giving over the log book I could not do the current owners transfer and think we should have done this online together. So good but not excellent”

“This is the 2nd car we have sold to Mike Brewer Motors and on both occasions the experience has been very good. If you provide the correct detail the price they quote is the price you receive. A straightforward process with quick payment . So much better than our experience with the Car People. Would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“Mike Brewer Motors offered an online quotation of near £9200, so we wasted our morning taking it in, only for it to be 'reappraised' due to two stone chips, one small scratch and one small dent that was quoted at £100-150 for repair. End offer = £8300. "Because the computer says so". They do not seem to apply any consideration for fair wear and tear. Don't waste your time.”

Hello, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have looked into it and we’ve established the cause of the problem. Between running your valuation on our website and making your appointment the valuation calculation was adjusted in our system to be in line with the market conditions. Your appointment was made after this date, so when you came in with your car and it was re-evaluated for the damage the new calculation took into account the earlier pricing reduction as well as the damage. However, we do honour prices for 10 days from the point of the online quote, but unfortunately this was missed by the member of staff looking after you at your appointment. We’re really sorry this has happened and it was an oversight on our part. “Excellent, never sold a car like this before and was a little wary but the price quoted on the internet was exactly what I got (bar a very small deduction for some slight damage I hadn't given on the internet - fair enough!). I had received other offers from online buyers and the figures being offered were ridiculous compared to the worth of the car. The offer from Mike Brewer was right where I needed and significantly more than the other offers. Very quick, very friendly and money received into my account with no hassle. Would highly recommend!”

“Im not normally one to write reviews however my experience with Mike Brewer Motors was not as i expected. The staff were very friendly which was great, however, when i received an agreed no quibble online quotation for my car (And that included me being honest about the condition), i was disappointed that some wear and tear stone chips were identified and a so called scuff to an alloy wheel. After an hour and half of waiting around, i got told they they would only offer me £450 less that what i was originally quoted. Obviously i didn't accept this offer but i just wished they could have been more honest from the start. Im disappointed in there no quibble offer online, but obviously its done to entice you in. By the way, i'm sure those reading will probably assume that i was lying about the condition of the car, but just so you know, immediately after, i went to WeBuyAnyCar who found nothing wrong with the condition and offered me £179 more than my original online quote from Mike Brewers. A warning to all, despite the online jargon used by Mike Brewers, they seem to be like all the others.”

“easy hassle free service.i wish i had found this place earlier! i was about to settle for a much lower price but luckily discovered this place which gave me exactly the same price as promised on their online valuation.they didn't try to knock the price like most other places who give you one online price and then when they see the car try and knock hundreds off the final price! the whole process with mike brewer motors only took about 20 minutes and the money was in my account the following day! there are absolutely no admin fee to pay unlike most other sites.everyone i met at the luton branch was very friendly and professional.you are selling your car directly to a dealership and thus cutting out the middleman which means you get a much fairer price. thank you. highly recommended!!”

“I received my valuation on line and travelled 70 miles to Sheffield. I was met by Dave without delay and he looked around my car and went for a test drive. He then returned checked my paper work and disappeared for 10 minutes. When he returned he stated that he would give me the stated value of the car and we exchanged details. The whole process took about 30 minutes. This was all done in a thorough and professional manner. There was no bargaining or trying to knock the value down. I stated what I had been offered by WBAC and he just raised his eyebrows. He stated that they do not charge admin fees or fees for same day payment. This was most refreshing and I felt that I could deal with these people again. It was a rewarding experience and Dave even offered me a lift to the railway station. All in all, a good experience and while that you know they are there to make a profit on your car you go away feeling as though you haven't been mugged. An experience that is unusual in the motor trade. Thanks Dave for giving me a straight deal!!!”
