“1. I was booked o n to the course from work. 2. I enjoyed the training. The tutor was excellent at explaining the subject. 3. Using real life examples to explain the subject matter and the interaction between the tutor and all the delegates. I also found the online study material a fantastic tool. 4. I think the tutoring style and the availability of the online study material ensured a great result which I hope will lead to great 5. Great learning experience and a guaranteed pass.”

“Sadly failed the Modelling Business processes exam so obviously disappointed. Having been on a previous course with Metadata I thought they would have been good, but on the 2 day course the trainer did waste a lot of time with his own life experiences rather than the course content, and I felt that during the course when questions were answer not only by myself but also others, if they were not the answer on the sheet in front of the trainer then they were not correct, but in the real world there could be many ways to answer analysis questions. I was also disappointed that (being the only English main language student in the class) I had to finish 15 minutes before everyone else, and when I finished the tutor came over, looked at my paper in front of everyone and tried to talk to me about re sitting the exam, before the exam had even finished, so left me feeling completely deflated about the entire process. The comments that I received back as to why I failed also seemed extremely harsh, so now I'm not wanting to continue with the other 2 modules with Metatdata even though I have paid in advance for all 4. Guess paying in advance is a risk you take.”

“The course I had in Metadata is Business Analyse Practice, the trainer has real BA experience which helps on the concept elaborating. There're some bits may can improve, the complexity of the case study, I think they try to use one big case to cover as much points as the concepts on the book, which may cause some confusing or hard to catch up if people didn't pre-read the case thoroughly.”

“I attended the weekend Business Analysis Practice course and found it really useful. There's only so much you can get from reading on your own. It wasn't until I was in the classroom discussing different Business Analysis tools and techniques that I fully understood how to apply these in real life. I would recommend this course if you want to pass the exam, and learn how to turn theory into reality and improve as a BA. I will be going back for further courses.”

“The lecturer I had was very good at being enthusiastic/high energy and for using practical real life examples to make the theory real. She was an experience business analyst herself so understood how projects work in practice. The food was very good -going to a cafe each day for lunch was a good change to other courses where they just bring in some sandwiches.”

“Meta data presented the course material clearly and easy to understand. We covered interesting topics and although some we skimmed over (given the limited time), the instructor did a good job to explain the gist of them all. I sometimes question how often a lot of the methodologies are applied in reality (i.e. in a work place), but nevertheless its interesting to learn about these.”

“It was a really good course, which introduced some unfamiliar topics in an understandable and absorbing way. Only adverse comment was that there was too much to cover in three days, but I would definitely select another course from Metadata.”

“I completed (and passed) the Fast Track Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering training with Metadata. The course was paced just right and the trainers had a wealth of experience and expertise that they were able share. I was able to immediately transfer my learning into practical work.”

“Metadata is not only a great place to learn and gain professional skills and qualifications; it is also very reasonably priced and you feel you get good value for your money! My employer took me on a few courses with QA and I was not at all impressed with content and service received I have recommended Metadata to a few people who have also been pleased at the end of their course”

“I would gladly recommend Metadata training. I took the BA req Engineering course which was taught by fantastic teacher Dawn. The course material was excellent and the teaching was very good. The only downside which is not a fault of Metadata is the length of the course. I feel the course should be a 4-5 day course because we felt rushed as we had to cover a lot during the 3 day plus exam.”

“I have attended 2 courses with Metadata Training over the last 12 months. The requirements engineering course is for the bread and butter of what I do so my full attendance and successful completion of the course was essential and I am glad to say that I managed both. The tutor, Dawn, came across as very knowledgeable and supported us all throughout the 3 days. Critique of the exam work was explained and comments appreciated. As course is a hands on practical course so plenty of thinking and diagrams to be designed. The Agile for business analyst course by comparison is a theory course based upon the main APMG handbook. I do not settle too well with theory based courses so this course was not for me; I felt I could have bought the course manual direct, memorised it and then sat the exam and still passed. This course has made me rethink the sort of courses that I take from here on in however being accredited with the APMG and understanding Agile in a whole new way has in part led to me getting a job which was a key part to booking my place in the first instance. The main tutor for the course was not present when I was there so I cannot comment on the regular standards for this particular course.”

“The Commercial Awareness course from Metadata Training was very insightful and gave me a good introduction to the basics of Accounting and how the Financial system works as a whole. The instructor was very experienced and made the course fun to learn. This course enabled me to get jobs in the financial industry and I would definitely recommend others to attend this course.”
