I had a terrible experience with Reeves and Co solicitors in Medway. I had a sentencing hearing and confirmed with the firm that they would attend. However, they did not show up on the day of the hearing and then lied about trying to contact me to let me know. I have no evidence of any attempt to contact me. This level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Reeves and Co solicitors are not to be trusted and cannot be relied upon. Stay away from this firm.

My dad has been waiting weeks for them to return a probate certificate following my grandma’s death. A certificate finally arrived today but it’s someone else’s probate certificate! That’s a breach of data protection. They’ve also claimed documents haven’t been received by them on more than one occasion despite us having proof of receipt, having used Royal Mail signed for delivery services. There’s never anyone at the end of the phone when you call and it sometimes takes days to get a response after leaving a message. Absolutely terrible.

Don't bother with Medway Law as they are completely incompetent, use a genuine solicitor for the conveyancing and by the way they are part of "Iamsold" who are complete scam artists, just read all the negative Trustpilot reviews, not all the suspicious "paid for" positive ones

Wish that I could give this organisation zero stars and they don't even deserve that! AVOID! These online solicitors were "recommended" by I Am Sold to my elderly parents in respect of selling a property, even though my parents have never used a computer and don't have any internet access (because Your Move receive commission). This situation has delayed a relatively simple move by WEEKS, for example it took more than a week, just to provide the completion statement and all dealings with them have created a huge amount of stress and frustration. At the same time, I have been dealing with a real-life conveyancer with regard to the purchase property and they have been fantastic to deal with. Do yourself and your stress levels a huge favour and use a traditional conveyancer. It will probably save you money in the end because of the time saved.

*AVOID AT ALL COSTS - DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM* We were unfortunate enough to be on the other end of this law firm. I cannot begin to explain the levels of incompetence exhibited by Abigail Halling and her team. They were unable to draft and execute the simplest of Deed of Variations prior to completion and had refused to communicate with us for the entire process. We have still not completed and we are now over a month late and both vendor and buyer have been at the ready with funds since the day of auction. They did not do their DD prior to exchange and they now are happy to watch and do nothing.

Completely disjointed from the start - lack of communication has left us not knowing where we are and who is dealing - swapping hands without telling us why and when . Asking for same documents several times, to speak with my elderly father several times. One department saying they’d sent my papers onto conveyancer and that person saying they’d only had them 3 working days - 10 days after being told that they had been forwarded. Then told he was supposed to have 3 files and he has 9 - that is supposed to fill me with confidence. Wrong paperwork sent to land registry, blaming anyone but themselves and when my sister raised this as a complaint this information had miraculously disappeared from our file … Saying hasn’t got a copy of original documents when they’ve only just been returned. Stay away at all costs ! There are positive reviews on here - but I can say not a positive word about the service we have received.

Terrible communication, imposible to get hold of no one, neither reply emails, to us or our solicitor. They set 56 days to complete and lots of policies in their favour and the seller, if you don’t complete on time they threat to keep your deposit and sell the house to someone else. We have been waiting over 80 days now, as they forgot to ask for redemption statement?, what a joke, we lost builders and we have pay lots of extra money for their incompetence! Is been set 2 different completion dates and still waiting! Compensation no way, even thought we have lost nearly £4K for their incompetence, they are arrogant enough to say that you have no rights as you have signed a contract with them. They don’t care, they just try to upset you to keep your deposit, and get someone’s else’s!

These guys are the absolute worst. They are acting as my sellers solicitors due to them selling via I am sold and they have been a complete disaster since day one. Impossible for my solicitors to get hold of, they have not once answered their phones in 4.5 months that this process has been going on for, and never phoned back. They only occasionally (and very rarely) replied to my solicitors emails for information of why the sale process is taking so long. They are incompetent at their jobs because they have held signed contracts from the sellers and my solicitor has held signed contracts from me for weeks but failed to exchange despite sellers and myself agreeing on completion dates that have been and gone a number of times over the last couple of months. This was a supposed to be an easy and quick purchase as the property is empty with no chain and I am a cash buyer. What a joke! Nobody can get hold of them for answers and everytime we do get told we are likely to exchange and complete, they realise they haven't got what they need in terms of extra paperwork and then have to send that out for signatures again. I'm not sure how they can call themselves solicitors to be honest, they have no idea what they are doing. Avoid these cowboys at all costs. They are a law unto themselves!!

I echo a lot of what has been said below. To put it succinctly the person I have been dealing with doesn't seem to know what she is doing. I would not recommend them at all.

A total lack of service, information regularly incorrect even after we had corrected it, they even found it difficult to understand that 2 properties with address of 25 and 25A were different properties they stated that they could not progress as they had the same address???? a 2 week period to prepare a pack is now 10 weeks in and we still cannot get an update on when the pack will be ready

We ended up working with Medway Law purely because they started acting on our behalf and issued a contract to our buyers... without our knowledge or consent! We were told that the auction house had instructed them to begin work. That is NOT how the process is supposed to work, only the client can instruct work to be carried out. Client due diligence was absolutely not adhered to in this transaction. Despite trying to stop them working on the matter, having appointed our own solicitors we still had to go through them to complete the work in the end because of the fact that the buyers had the contract they sent, which they had reviewed and agreed to. I would not recommend Medway Law on this basis, and I would not recommend the auction house iamsold who they work with and who gets the referral fee if a seller uses them.

They do not even deserve one star. A sales competition that take a week which they taking month. Extremely unhelpful, constantly giving incorrect information and attitude. They are part of Iamsold and they recommended us their firm so do not take their advise. I eco with all the negative review below.

Poor communication, incorrect information didn’t seem staff were trained to deal with people due to the attitude we received. Would not recommend.

Having already made another review on a site, which Medway quickly tried to withdraw as 'there was no proof of them acting' I shall put another here. Having bought an auction property with a 56 day completion window on 11th December 2020, Medway and their partner company I Am Sold, have still yet to complete over 116 days later. Charges on the property wich they knew about were not removed, and we were not advised until the day before the original completion date. The relationship with I Am Sold means that we have now lost any fees and cannot withdraw and are at the mercy Medway. All we can do is wait for them to do nothing to progress the matter. No doubt they will try and remove another review. It took them less than an hour last time. Maybe if they spent more time on the work and less on worrying about honest reviews, they might do better.

Very impressed with Medway Law Hannah and Lucy kept me informed throughout the process. Although the sale of the property took longer than expected this was not due to them.

Worst company we have ever dealt with...no organisation ...requesting documents three or four times because they have misplaced them... no return calls.... Stay away from this company

I can not thank Medway Law enough for all the help with the sale of my sisters house, kept me informed and up to date and the staff who I spoke with on the phone were so friendly and helpful, made it easier for me at an upsetting time. Would highly recommend. Thank you all.

Completion day failed due to lack of attention to detail on Medway part. Arrogant and evasive responses when challenged.

The sale of my house was dealt with by Hannah Payne who was helpful and efficient throughout the process. She acted professionally and kept me informed of how the transaction was progressing. I thought the costs for the work done on my behalf were reasonable.
