“Thank you for this opportunity to comment on your products and service. I have been very satisfied with both. The banjo/ guitar strap is beautiful and, because of its width and strength, it gives excellent support for all my instruments (5 banjos, 3 guitars and a bouzouki.) I have had some difficulty adapting it to banjos, since it lacks the hooks often found on banjo straps. As regards the work on Chief O'Neill, I must apologize for not having written a review sooner. It belongs in the library of any historian, scholar or researcher interested in the Music of Ireland. Having spent a good deal of my life involved in research (not in any area related to Ireland, however,) I can appreciate the time and effort involved in its compilation. I expect to utilize some of his references in the future. I intend to order another book from you very soon. Meanwhile, I enjoy your monthly postings, especially those which include lists of recommended tunes. I live in something of a wasteland as far as Irish Trad is concerned; COVID resulted in the end of Irish music in Omaha, NE. Once again, thank you for your service. I will be in touch before the end of Summer. Skip Farrell”

“Heavy (very pleasant) but not so powerfull. Steady notes. One thing I dont like (just like with former Merlin Excalibur wide bore) is that air flow seems restricted. One have to blow more strongly than desired. Problem with commercial division: I paid 35 euros to be quickly delivered... but in fact I paid for nothing, whistle arrived 1 week later !!!! I sent a mail to be refund... I never got an answer. I'm rather angry for that !!! BANDIDOS !!”

“I found it strange to receive 'feedback' emails about an order I hadn't received yet. I had no prior knowledge of shipping with tracking numbers before those emails came through. I understand international shipping has become a long process but a tracking number as soon as it ships would be helpful. I ordered in Dec and didn't receive until March. Other than that- I LOVE the products I bought! McNeela products are the best!”

“Service, product and online purchase all very good. Even packaging held up being shipped to the States. This is a big deal since everything else I have ordered from across the Pond has arrived in tattered packaging and sometimes damaged contents. Yay McNeela! Thank you for a beautiful bodhran. “Bought the 19 fret tenor banjo. Superb instrument for the price. Lots of good support from McNeela. A little problem processing the order (had to do it twice and did not know if I had paid twice...didn't). No confirmation email, but a phone call cleared it all up. Great company and worth doing business with; it is clearly more than a business: it is a passion, and shared beautifully.”

“Je suis très satisfait des Setanta Soprano Whistles Full Set le son est très bon et claire. Pour The Cygnet Irish Rosewood Flute je suis moins satisfait le 2ème octave sur tout le mi sont trop haut vous m'avez proposer de la renvoyer j'apprécie . mais finalement les complication pour l'envoyer mon un peut retenu, je la garde pour faire des excises . Nicolas I am very satisfied with the Setanta Soprano Whistles Full Set the sound is very good and clear. For The Cygnet Irish Rosewood Flute I am less satisfied the 2nd octave on the whole E are too high. I appreciate the offer to send it back. but finally the complication to send it back held me back a bit, I'm keeping it to make excises. Nicolas”

“The instrument sounded great my only gripe is the cracks that came from the change in humidity. McNeela won't do anything to help unless we pay which isn't the best because it's just out of the 30 day grace period. Aside from that it's great”

“I love my Wren concertina. Beautifully done and the sound is great. My only issue is that some of the buttons get stuck while you’re playing, so you end up with an unwanted chord. Still trying to figure out how to troubleshoot this..”
