Absolutely terrible, were the best priced sent my phone which in my estimation fitted there good section which was 410.00 once received they offered me 155.00 🤬 because of rainbow effect deep scratches that weren’t there, I called when I received this to say I wanted phone back it’s decent etc etc they weren’t interested. Second day someone from Mazuma called saying they’d sent for a second review and they could give me 315.00 what a joke doubled what they were prepared to give, I said no that’s fine send it back I’ll send to another recycler who may not pay me 410.00 but would probably give me a realistic price straight off!!!!

Sent off an iPad Air 3 in prestine conditions was originally quoted £200 from Mazuma , they had my iPad for 4 days then contacted me to state it had multiple scratches (it had none) and offered me £140 , I requested them to send me pictures as I knew there wasn’t any scratches - they never sent them , they then offered me £150 , I declined said I wanted the photos to prove scratches ,they didn’t reply and are now returning my iPad , I paid special delivery to send it but they’re returning it normal post ! Dread to think what state it will be in when I get it back ! I had it checked with apple before I sent it so Mazuma are telling fibs somewhere !!! Complete waste of my time

Sent a perfect A71 mobile to Mazuma only to be told there was a screen issue. Complete rubbish. Once I have received it back O2 are very happy to recycle it and credit me with ÂŁ69

Good morning, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the decision made regarding your device. Screen burn appears within the LCD/OLED layer of the device (this is the pixel layer underneath the glass on the front). This can come in two different forms, an imprint or a glow. The most common imprint we tend to see if of the keyboard as this is the most commonly function used on a mobile phone. It can also come in the form of a red glow which appears around the edges of the screen. Screen burn is where the pixels create a ghost like imprint that remains even after the on-screen content has changed or moved. This is mainly visible against a white background. This can present itself in 3 different levels. If you have purchased your device within the past 24 months, you can actually send the device to Samsung to have it repaired under a warranty because of the screen burn as they are aware of how common the defect is within their devices. You can also check for this yourself by dialling *#0*# on the keypad and checking it against the blue and white background. Sent a perfect iPhone XR after being quoted ÂŁ175. Received an email 2 days after them being in receipt of my phone to be told they have lowered the amount to ÂŁ65 due to finding a few light scratches which I know for a fact there was none whatsoever due to having a screen protector on it and when I sent it to them it was very securely wrapped. I have rejected the new amended quote and getting my perfect phone back to sell for its actual worth amount. After reading other reviews of people having the same issue this is clearly something that they are in the habit of doing so I will definitely not be sending anymore phones to them in the future.

Wouldn’t recommend waited 3 days to hear back was offered £235 for my iPhone and they come back saying it had a deep scratch (which it didn’t) and offered me £80 would not use again Wouldn’t mind a bit knocked off but to £80 is laughable

Within our grading it does state the following: Good - * Very light scratches on the screen up to 3; light scratches on housing and camera surround up to 5. Poor - * Multiple light scratches on screen over 3; Multiple light scratches on housing over 5; dents; scuffs; some missing paint. Multiple scratches on screen cannot be deep enough to cause rainbow effect. Faulty - Display has heavy scratches that can be felt or create a rainbow effect on the screen; delamination; chips or cracked glass. Unfortunately, our technicians found your device to have deep scratches that cause the screen to have a rainbow effect which is why your price has been amended as a new screen would be needed. I am really disappointed with my whole experience with Mazuma mobile. They removed £75 from the price that was originally agreed, and after the delays I experienced with a mistake from DPD, and further delays with back-and-forward emails this week, I missed the window in which I could have maximised the resale value for my very good condition iPhone 11, on sites such as eBay and Gumtree. The scratch that is shown on the photo, which Mazuma took 24hrs to send through after evaluating the phone, was not something I recalled and doesn't show up on the photos I took before sending the phone off in bubble wrap. Not only do I feel like I have no option but to accept Mazuma’s revised lower offer of a “poor” condition iPhone, given the photos sent through of its current condition, I also have to accept the lower value (of around £40) that Mazuma now values a “poor” condition iPhone compared to where Mazuma would have valued a “poor” condition phone when I started the order 2 weeks ago. The whole process has been much more trouble than its worth, and Mazuma has not lived up to its promise of "The price you see is the price you get!"

Really easy service to use and got the best price for my mobile. Lots of pick up points, all tracked. Lots of updates even when my phone got to the centre and was paid the same day it arrived to them.

Used the mobile phone comparison sites and found Mazuma offered the best price. Sold my handset via the Mazuma website, received the packaging and the instructions. sent package via royal mail, received emails when received by Mazuma and progress reports that the quote had been accepted and paid.

Sent a perfectly functioning iPhone 11 and they reduced their initial offer from £325 to £125 because of a faulty screen. The phone was checked by me and the screen was absolutely fine. I asked for photos of the alleged fault and have never received them. I’ve just rejected the offer because I know full well the phone was fine and packaged well enough so as to not be damaged in transit. Not happy with their service so far and now awaiting them sending me my phone back.

Unfortunately, our technicians confirmed a defective screen due to white mark(s) in the display which is usually only visible on a white background. As the pixels have turned white, the LCD will need replacing which is why you price has been amended. This is caused with age and use and due to the cost of a LCD replacement we were unable to offer you the original valuation price.
