I have just had the settlement figure for my iPhone 12 which was £40 below the offer price…. Mazuma stated that it had cosmetic scratches which I know was not the case.. the phone was perfect… they know that to question any figure is time consuming and pointless but it is very disappointing to be treated like this by so many such sites…. Do not be confused Mazuma is no better than the rest…. I suggest you shop around.

Avoid this company Avoid this company! Sent off a phone in perfect condition, this was confirmed by several people I the mobile trade. Mazuma have mysteriously found some imperfections on the phone and have reduced the value by over £100. Now they're keeping hold of the phone for another 3-5 days before returning it back to me.

Sent them a PERFECT condition iPhone. They apparently found scratches on the phones case to downgrade it (there was not) and dust inside the lens (which they said go back to Apple for). Dust that hasn't show up in a single photo I have ever taken. I disputed this but frankly they don't care. Also they say there is 100% NO WAY AT ALL that the damage was their side. The phone was fully packed, boxed and bubble wrapped, mint condition when it left. But they refuse to accept there is even a chance they could be responsible. Joke. Adele - a customer service manager - was just rude and unhelpful. The apathy in her voice was palpable. Ive used them before and they have been good but frankly the attitude and the fact they have no staff (admitted by Adele) and seemingly a dishonest approach makes them one to avoid.

Won't be using again. I've sold dozens of mobile phones over the years to various different companies and never ever had a problem. I look after my phones, they are in cases from new. However, my experience with Mazuma is that if you have the tiniest blemish (which you would expect for a two-year-old, well-used phone), they massively knock the price down on what they have offered. I couldn't be bothered to get it back and send it elsewhere, but I certainly won't be using Mazuma again. AVOID.

I joy for smell and a very polite Young lady was sitting at the desk at the Gladstone area and her name is Monet I went into the bank on this very day just stressed about the new phone system and she was very polite and very helpful very man and she wouldn’t let me leave the bank unless I knew what was in my account because I was determined she was a very nice lady this is the Gladstone location Monet give her a five star review if I had a bell I would ring it Go Monet🤩

Absolute scammers,2 phones sent in original boxes,excellent condition, made out more scratches than they allow and 1 had a cracked lense which it certainly did not on sending,offer declined, sent an increased offer,also declined. Phones returned and surprise surprise phone now has an unmissable crack on lense, avoid at all costs.

They will try anything not to give you a fair price for a phone My husband was selling his mobile which he was quoted £125. He sent the phone and was told it had a screen burn (it did not) so they said they would only give him £25 but got it rechecked and offered £35 for it as they said it had multiple scratches on it. They allow 3 on the front and 5 on the case. It has 3 tiny scratches on the whole thing as it has been kept in a protective case whilst he owned it. Never had a problem with them before but will not be using again.

Sent old iPad and iPhone back after accepting what I thought quite a low price anyway m. They then came Back and offered me £15 for iPad and £12 for iPhone absolute con would rather put to skip than take that offer. Stay away from them absolutely taking advantage…

I sent two IPhones to Mazuma, an 11 and an SE. While I have no issues with the price I got for the 11, it’s the iPhone SE that has caused all the issues, as according to Mazuma it wasn’t in the package, it had mysteriously vanished. Mazuma pointed to the carrier straight away, who then launched an investigation, the carrier were able to share the photo taken at delivery to Mazuma, which I confirmed was the package and in the same condition it left me. I then called Mazuma who told me that there was nothing they could or would be prepared to do, in fact they told me that they accepted no responsibility for the missing handset what so ever, basically if it’s not the carriers fault tough. Stay away from Mazuma, they are not to be trusted.

I wanted to sell my samsung galaxy s21 ultra 5g and they are saying screen burn and they said that they will offer me 100 pounds and I rejected it a big company like that con's I spoke to samsung technical support and they said that it's very uncommon

Mazuma claimed that there were numerous scratches on the screen and reduced the price quoted by £60. I had checked the screen carefully and there were no scratches. I didn’t accept their revised quote and asked for the phone to be sent back. I was then told it would be 3 to 5 working days before it was dispatched. A very unhappy teenage child here now! I will never deal with Mazuma again.

mazuma used to be a reputable company now they are just looking to rip people off we recently sent in an iphone 13 that had a screen protector on from the moment it cam out the box new it arrived to them with the screen protector still on they have tried to say the screen was scratched we have asked how when it had the screen protector on they have sent the most blurred out of focus pictures of a scratched screen that could literally be any i phone wonder why that is?

Mazuma sold me an iPhone 13, that was either lost or stolen. It has taken them nearly a month to refund me. This is with me having to regularly chase them up. I was never allowed to speak to someone at Mazuma about this, but had to add delay by going via Amazon. When I tried to speak to someone, I was made to feel that it was my fault, I never received an apology! They need more a robust system to prevent this happening again I would not recommend using this company.

As others have said. Sent in a immaculate phone for them to say it was scratched in paintwork. It was always in a full flip case, even sent it to them in the flip case. They down graded it, I will never use mazuma again.

Used to be a good company and used before. Recent experience very poor. Needed to sell a phone to raise emergency money. Order M8372946. Phone had just come back from apple centre with a new genuine screen and not used. They claimed it had three scratches on it. I have a photo of the phone and it was like new. Offered £100 less then agreed. I needed the money so had to accept. Payment was not next day either as the claimed the received the phone later then their cut off point for next day. Even though tracking says otherwise. DO NOT USE. Plenty of good reviews on here but they all short and very similar. Read the genuine reviews on here.

I sold my iPad Air to Mazuma Mobile in complete PERFECT condition. There was not a single scratch on the device and I took photos to prove this. I was quoted £300 and they dropped it down to £225 for “multiple scratches” which I have proved do not exist. I have to accept the money due to being desperate at the moment, but I am absolutely fuming as I didn’t even want to sell my iPad in the first place. I sent SEVERAL emails and messages to them on social media including photos of my iPads condition and I have been completely ignored. Disgusting. Will never ever use this company again and I have told everyone to avoid them also. I could’ve got more for trading it in at cex. So angry.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will never use this company again. I tried to sell my immaculate ipad pro. They initially offered me £140. So I sent it off in the original box, the charger and all that came with it. All in excellent condition. Once they had received it, they then said there was a fault with the screen and offered me £35 for it. I refused and then they decided to offer me a 'Special offer' - £65. Other companies had offered £85 - So I said no and that I would like it back. They then proceeded to send it back without the charger or box just the iPad on its own in a thin bubble wrap and cardboard envelope. I am absolutely disgusted at this. They have absolutely no right to keep the charger. I complained and they said it was in their right to keep the box and charger. Now I can't sell it on. Total con! Save yourself the upset and use another company!!

Like previous reviews, I sent my iPhone in absolute perfect condition. Since new, it was always kept in a case with a screen protector. Mazuma emailed offering less due to scratches on the screen. Which was a complete lie. Frauds. Avoid.
