First order and panel of wood missing from fence very poor

Although my plywood arrived quickly it was broken/cracked in a number of places making it unusable for the purpose I bought it, won’t use Maxwells’s again

Product good value, but unhappy with delivery charges. If I had ordered 1 item the delivery charge was £6, but because I ordered 3 items the delivery charge was £23, even though all items delivered at the same time. This did not make sense and will affect whether I order from Maxwells again.

Easy online ordering, however I ordered all the items for a picket fence. Said it was coming Thursday so waited in all day but still nothing???

After waiting longer than 2-5days for our delivery only 75% came. An will now have to wait 5 days+ for the rest of my delivery. Very appalled.

Ordered 3 6x3 picket fence panels, only one arrived in good condition, other two were damaged and had to be adjusted to be able to do the job, got the job done but quite disappointed

The product I purchased was good quality and value. But the service I received regarding the delivery was atrocious! I left a note when placing the order online which was not followed. I asked for a call prior to drop off which never came because they said my phone number wasn't in their system, when I gave them my number after this to find out what had happened with my delivery. The woman Chelsea forgot to store my number and also forgot to get straight back in touch with me... for 6 hours. Then to try cover the mess up, made out their was no note anyway rather than take ownership of the mistake. As their wasnd any damage to the order I decided not to follow up this complaint. But the order was well protected and wrapped with no damage.

Product was not good had to take panels apart a totally rebuild so they all matched terrible. customer service & courier not very good either paid £28 for a date not all of it turn up. No refund for the extra I paid. Be aware don’t provide extra pales to cover joins told to Oder extra panel so had to pay £11.99 for another delivery so paid total £39.99 for delivery was not amused think they should have sent extra panel at their expense

one tin of basecoat leaked and they sent it out as the tape they use to secure was over it. Delivery took ages.

I ordered fence post and they were undercut so I don't recomend buying from them for anyone if u do make sure u get it right

Due to my been disabled i needed a named day for delivery and was willing to pay extra for this, only to be told that i could not have a named day because i had timber in the order

I ordered 4 fence panels 4 posts and 6 postcrete all ordered at the same time. I received 2 fence panels one morning, different courtier later that day brought 6 postcrete bags, the following day I ( yesterday) I received the other 2 panels and today received 4 fence posts!!! Not very good at all, luckily I was on leave so was in to receive and sign for. On a good note the wood was a heavy solid good quality wood.

You couldn’t get order right, first you sent wrong size and then you sent the wrong amount

Given a delivery date - changed with courier to ensure i was in. Did not arrive and looking at courier site it said that that package had not been received by Maxwells. Phoned up Maxwells and they said they would look into it and return my call. they did not phone back so phoned again and was told that it was being sent to courier - i said what had happened and they said it wasn't in stock - i am not convinced and if this was the case why was i not told.

I ordered 4 panels of picket fencing and 4 top rails. 2 of the panels were dark stained and 2 were light stained. 2 of the top rails were split. I needed to erect the fencing as a matter of urgency and didn’t have time to return the panels or rails. Now erected the fence does not look good with the difference in colours of the panels. I have had to repair the defective rails. I am naturally disappointed.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the picket fencing. I feel the actual wood and making of the fencing is poor. I wish I could have visited to see this product. My previous picket fencing I had was fantastic I won't get caught out again. I contacted customer services and they advised that I could return the product at double the shipping cost I originally paid. They were not at all helpful.
