My entire experience with Matches has been appalling. - Firstly I bought a dress 2 months ago and was not notified in the email, product page, basket or checkout that it wasn’t available for a refund. During this process the website failed to have proper product terms and conditions. - Matches refused to give me a refund, despite their failure to clearly state T&Cs online in a visible point. Instead I was offered me a credit to use within 12 months. - Now, 1.5 months later, it is invalid as they have appointed administrators. What an absolute joke of a e-commerce website. DO NOT BUY from them.

Matchesfashion is completely different from what it used to be. They sent me a wrong item but will make me pay for the return fee. It wasn't like this before. Now that I see bad customer reviews about the return process, I wonder if I should return the items.

I bought a product on this company. Product arrived but had to return. The idea was to buy a different size that would fit better. The return was accepted but the credit would never arrive. Contacted them and they stated that they went into "administration" and couldn't proceed with the credit. So, in the end, I lost the money and the product as well. The company pulled a scam and it is a shame that companies like these still exist.

I simply cannot get hold of them! This is madness. 2 orders return … no refund!! I called / emailed / sent watts app and nothing. I am tempted to go to the store in London. But obviously I suspect they will tell me they cannot help as it’s just a store. This is absolute madness.

After almost a month and some mails saying that my order, a Johanna Ortiz dress, was delayed I received an email saying that they won’t send me my order and they are not going to give me my money back. Completely unacceptable!!

I returned a pair of Christian laboutin shoes to you as the buckle had broken after one wear . Now I have been told that you cannot return my shoes . This is theft. I advise customers against using matches fashion

They sold clothes that you longer owned as part of their financial debacle. Bottega veneta, saint Laurent, Gucci,….all this brands have disappeared from the website. I’m sure these advertisers had already withdrawn their trust from them before march 8th. Yet They had put them on sale since i bought on the website on march 7 a bottega veneta denim. That s probably why they couldn’t deliver it. I didn’t receive it and they refuse to refund it. They are stealing customers. FRAUD. ONLY FRAUD.

I had the confirmation from a Matches rep that almost all packages shipped on March 6 and 7 were called back and sent back to their warehouse and they don’t want to refund the customers saying they are not legally responsible of orders before March 8!! They were responsible enough to call back packages already shipped to keep the items and resell it on their website but not to give the customers their refunds ?! So they stole orders made before March 8 and say it’s not their responsibility… We PAID for these items! Deliver our orders or REFUND plain and simple! I am completely shocked by this kind of behavior, I never ever thought in my life I would be scammed by a big retailer like Matches 😣

To flee Trust is broken. To flee. I have been a customer of this site for years, I left fortunes and I see that something is really wrong. I made a Jean Bottega Veneta purchase on March 7, 2024 of more than €1,000. Then no news of my delivery…… I was told to wait. Today I receive an email telling me that following a problem I will not be delivered but that I will not be refunded either… a gibberish explains to me that as my order date before March 8th it is not eligible for a refund and that I have to manage with my bank (?) Which trusted site proceeds this way? It’s just THEFT. It’s outrageous. It’s the second incident on this site. Something goes wrong and doesn’t say its name. Oddly enough, Bottega Veneta items are no longer online at all, apart from glasses. A tip for customers FLEE, a tip for Matchefashion DELIVER or REFUND! OMF814413423

I am in the same situation as others except I never received my order made on March 6 and they told me they won’t issue a refund even if the package is lost… I suspect all the orders shipped on March 6 were in fact never shipped. They told me the package is stuck at customs and I should wait whereas UPS confirmed me they never had the package in hand and when I asked the tracking number for the package sent from the UK to NL, they responded that they can’t, it’s confidential 🤔 So I have no proof the package was indeed dispatched. I really believe all the orders shipped on March 6 were not shipped. I saw numerous reviews saying their order shipped on March 6 were never delivered and they have the same tracking : label created, UPS has not yet the package.

I returned my item the day before they went into administration and changed their ts & cs. Surely therefore my return should adhere to the original ts and cs which is a full refund?? I have no item, and also they have my money. And it happened before they went into admin. Where does this leave me?? Surely it’s not legal

I've sent numerous emails not being able to purchase payment with customer credits. There are $4,000+ in my customer credit account. Is Matches a fraudulent company? What else can a customer do?

There is absolutely no customer service by telephone or email. I have tried to contact Matches for 2 weeks. No one answer the phone and no one answers email. Returns process is a nightmare and refunds another nightmare. A company cannot advertise that they have customer service when they have no such service. It is false advertising I have given Matches 1 star because that is the lowest option... but I would rather give is 0 stars.

Fraudulent! I had some issues with their website and contacted Customer Service for the return label. I was sent a return label and return forms via email AFTER they went under administration only to find out today, that I won’t get a refund or the clothes (back) I have apparently now paid for. I received 3 Customer Service emails in total, none of which stated that they won’t be able to “honor” the refund. Now they’re “terribly sorry for any inconvenience” aka stealing 600€ from me and hundreds of thousands from others. I don’t know how this is not illegal.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Placed an order with the regular return policy 14 days, 10€ return fee. Tried to book the return on the website and I couldn’t. So I wrote to the customer service and they reply with a new return policy “sorry, no returns allowed for orders placed before 8th of March”. Excuse me?!?! I sent the parcel back anyway and tell them I don’t care about their change of policy, I want my money back and I have sent the parcel. Their reply: sorry, no refund and we won’t return the parcel to you. This is a scam to me. They owe me more than 1.400€. I’ll pursue legal ways.

Dear Customer Service, I have made order on 25th of Feb 2024 and received it on 29th March, and I returned the items on 1th March after submitting return request successfully getting a return authorization number too. It was delivered to you on 11.03.2024. The answer is:”Unfortunately, orders placed with MATCHES prior to 8th March 2024 cannot be returned. There are no exceptions to this, we sincerely apologise for any upset or inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you further.“ In my opinion it is a criminal act, and as I see they are still running the website/business. Is there any class action lawsuit in progress?
