"The lady who arranged the contract with me was friendly and helpful. However, after my boxes had been delivered, I received a call from another member of staff who simply told me to transfer more money over the phone, without explaining what the extra charges were for. Rude and highly unprofessional. This exchange completely altered my experience as a customer at Magenta and, unlike indicated in a previous review, I would not recommend it anymore to friends looking for storage facilities in Oxford."

"Your staff wasn`t helpful at all. They refused to help me with my luggage which was physically impossible for me to take off from the second level storage box they gave me. It is unacceptable to offer your storage when it is physically unusable! Also, they didn`t explain the payment procedure well enough, and they didn`t give me my refund back!!!"

Hi there and thank you for your review. We're sorry that you feel like we haven't provided you with enough help when moving out of your storage unit. Normally we are more than happy to assist customers removing their goods for their storage unit. Unfortunately, however, on the day that you moved out our one member of staff was unable to help because our reception must occupied throughout our opening hours. Regarding the refund, our store manager (the only one authorised to process refunds) has called on a couple of occasions to settle your refund but didn't manage to catch you. Hopefully this will be sorted soon.

"Gave them notice I was finished with my unit which will mean I will have used just one week out of my pre-paid month. They will refund my unused weeks... but as per their "terms & conditions" they will take up to 21 days to do it !! So I pay them upfront and when they owe me money they get three whole weeks to send me what I'm owed. Sharp practice and pretty nasty customer service. I really wouldn't recommend Magenta at all. For same price I could have had Yellow who provide 24/7 secure access rather than just daytime and refunded unused weeks right away when I used them. Magenta, best avoided."

Hi Pete, thanks for leaving a review about your experience with Magenta Storage. Unfortunately, due to most refunds being processed via Direct Debit we have to allow for bank errors which is why we may take up to 21 days. Most of the time our refunds are settled much quicker than that. I do apologise if this procedure caused you any inconvenience.
