Brilliant experience with Made By Cooper for my latest pin design. The design team were extremely helpful though out, offing advice and making any changes to my design that I asked then to make - no matter how big or small! My order was also delivered in perfect time, arriving on the exact date of my estimated delivery! Extremely happy with the finished result. Thank you!!!

I recently had custom pin badges made from my own illustration. They have come out even better then I expected and were so worth the wait! I'm already planning my next ones!

Lacking in communication skills and efficient design process. Even after the pins were made and shipped I had questions about the colours coming out as expected and I was pushed away with default answers. No actual care was given about my desired product or my need for a better end quality. I easily took my ongoing monthly orders elsewhere.

Pins turned out perfect. Custumers services send my pins to production two weeks later because they forgot (!?), and usually take between 1 and 2 weeks to answer an email.

As you can appreciate the delays explained are unfortunate and beyond our control, we can see we waited 3 weeks for your approval which added extra delays. If you can contact us about the poor product you mention with some photos so we can fix for you as we can not find an email from you regarding these problems

Firstly, the badges were excellent quality, very happy with them. The problem was I was given a delivery date 18 days before the event badges were for, which I thought was sufficient. When the badges hadn't arrived 10 after the approx. delivery date, I contacted Made by Cooper. I was informed by Sophie that I hadn't paid for speedy delivery so they cannot guarantee delivery as they were being manufactured in China. I assumed 'Made by Cooper' meant that they 'made' the badges themselves. Had I known they were being made in China, I wouldn't have ordered from this company, I try & support British manufacture where I can. In fairness Sophie contacted the factory in China & the badges arrived 2 days before the event. I think Made by Cooper should make it clear the delivery date given is extremely approximate & they do not manufacture the badges themselves. Timeline: badges ordered: 18th April, approx delivery date: 21st May, actual delivery date: 6th June

Virtually no customer service, Order was sent out in three separate parcels, despite ordering all at the same time. The third design to be sent out two 2 months to arrive, and was 21 days after the scheduled delivery date, the backers on the Ayup me duck pins do not work, so they just fall off. I was sent a vague email about a fire which had occurred, and then given no further info on the matter, despite emailing several times. No one seemed to know what was happening. It's a real shame, because the product is lovely, but the lack of communication and poor customer service has put me off ordering from you again.

Glad you are happy with badges them selves. We sent out the packages as and when ready as we were aware of the extended delays happening during this stressful period and did not want to delay delivery to our customers any further therefore felt sending asap was better than waiting until ready. If there are any problems with the badges please do not hesitate to contact us to be fixed

Pros: Pin quality was consistent. We received a handful of extra pins of each design just in case of flaws, which was greatly appreciated. Both hard enamel and soft enamel pins came out beautifully. Mistakes were corrected eventually, with replacement backing cards sent. Cons: There was a mix up on the designer's end where the proof sent to manufacturing for backing cards was different than the proof we approved. Our initial order specifications were messed up when transferred to the proofs, including: design count, design plating type. Not trivial at all, considering the size of our order was worth several thousands. Communication is very slow. Emails are sometimes lost and you have to send in reminders. Had to send in several reminders when getting proofs approved (mind you, we put in 14 design orders at once, but still the organization was very bad). Their team doesn't type in correct grammar/spelling, which can be irritating when it obscures the meaning of their message. I had trouble figuring out what was trying to be said or getting my own point across. Overall: Made by Cooper seems to manufacture their pins overseas, which isn't an issue, except that then their only role is as a go-between for us and the manufacturers. Because this is their only job, they should try to do better at the -communication- part. I would greatly enjoy seeing MbC do some work on their website, maybe create an interface for customers to track their orders and send feedback in one place rather than through emails which can get lost. I am not going to count the small delay in product arrival given they had a warehouse/workshop fire. The actual product came out quality, but the process of getting it was very stressful and I am going to try some other manufacturers before coming back to Made by Cooper.

The pins I received were acceptable, but I just wish there was some sort of update system or order status I could view on the website so we don't have to communicate directly by email. There were also delays with the estimated shipping time. Communication was very spotty, and sometimes took days for a response. I would rate higher if communication was more reliable.

Most pins had easily noticeable defects. Hairs in the enamel, enamel on the raised portions, incomplete fill.

I feel let down by the design process. As there is no sampling, just a rendered drawing I cannot sell the end products that I ordered. The pins are too dark, with a black base, and lines to depict the design the overall white in the image that floods over it appears dirty. Some of the other colours in my design are the same, red in particular. I feel that the designers could have made it clear that this would be the case before production and recommended another base such as gold or silver. Production was to time and delivery timing as promised. So it is just a great shame I was left without a product to sell, I would have spent good money on a sample to avoid this loss.

Sorry to hear you're not happy with the pins, if you could show us the problem with some photos to make sure where the errors are and if they can be fixed as the designs we produce are usually accurate, we don't submit designs that can not be made.

Pleased with the pins I ordered, quality is good. However communication could be better. I've ordered twice from Made By Cooper, and both times, my orders had extra delays added (by 7-14 days) when I had already waited 5-6 weeks for delivery. This wasn't communicated to me until the last minute and I had customers waiting. I also had to chase for delivery updates. The delivery time is really long. I wish it could be quicker! The long delivery times and the poor communication are the things that could put me off ordering again.

They worked with me to get my design right and offered creative solutions and explained things well to me as a new customer. Prices seem reasonable and offers also helped. The quality of the hard enamel pins is great and I'm really pleased with how they turned out. The only things that could be improved was that the gems they used are of mixed quality. The small ones are great but the larger ones sometimes have quite noticeable areas of where the plastic has been moulded. I would also have benefitted from being kept informed of the expected delivery date for my pins as they were a few days/a week later than I had been expecting which was not a problem as the turnaround was quite fast but I had to ask where they were rather than getting an email just to let me know. Great service overall though. Thank you :)

I submitted my design and Made by Cooper had everything completed for me within just a few short days. My package arrived a few days ahead of plan AND they turned out absolutely beautiful. Cannot wait to use them for all my lapel design needs.

Just be aware that the design services are not free if you decide not to order from them. There is a design fee but the only place that is disclosed is deep in the small print in the Terms and Conditions. It's not unheard to pay a fee like this but it is frustrating (and a little shady) that the site says "design services are free" without qualifying that it is only free if you place an order.

I have ordered 3 pin designs so far and all look great! I had a problem with my first order, some of my pins had some scratching on the front but they were replaced once I informed the design team! My only complaints are- the backstamp on my most recent pins was set a little crooked, and I requested specific post back colors which I did not receive BUT all-in-all I am very satisfied. The quality of the pins is excellent.
