Pros: Pin quality was consistent. We received a handful of extra pins of each design just in case of flaws, which was greatly appreciated. Both hard enamel and soft enamel pins came out beautifully. Mistakes were corrected eventually, with replacement backing cards sent. Cons: There was a mix up on the designer's end where the proof sent to manufacturing for backing cards was different than the proof we approved. Our initial order specifications were messed up when transferred to the proofs, including: design count, design plating type. Not trivial at all, considering the size of our order was worth several thousands. Communication is very slow. Emails are sometimes lost and you have to send in reminders. Had to send in several reminders when getting proofs approved (mind you, we put in 14 design orders at once, but still the organization was very bad). Their team doesn't type in correct grammar/spelling, which can be irritating when it obscures the meaning of their message. I had trouble figuring out what was trying to be said or getting my own point across. Overall: Made by Cooper seems to manufacture their pins overseas, which isn't an issue, except that then their only role is as a go-between for us and the manufacturers. Because this is their only job, they should try to do better at the -communication- part. I would greatly enjoy seeing MbC do some work on their website, maybe create an interface for customers to track their orders and send feedback in one place rather than through emails which can get lost. I am not going to count the small delay in product arrival given they had a warehouse/workshop fire. The actual product came out quality, but the process of getting it was very stressful and I am going to try some other manufacturers before coming back to Made by Cooper.

The pins I received were acceptable, but I just wish there was some sort of update system or order status I could view on the website so we don't have to communicate directly by email. There were also delays with the estimated shipping time. Communication was very spotty, and sometimes took days for a response. I would rate higher if communication was more reliable.

Product was pretty fantastic, to be fair, but production stalled on two separate occasions when the team didn't reply to the back-and-forth of emails during the design phase which held things up.

Overall quality of the product was very pleasing. However, communication over the design was poor. Ordered metal pin badges and cloth patches, both to same design. On the first batch, the cloth patches were of wrong design. These were replaced, but the replacements were still not in the agreed design. The difference is fairly minor, so we are keeping them as they arrived only two days before planned distribution to Club members.

I am very satisfied with the end results, however, the design process was very slow and i dont feel like i had full attention given, especially after waiting the 5 business days after placing the order.

Pleased with the pins I ordered, quality is good. However communication could be better. I've ordered twice from Made By Cooper, and both times, my orders had extra delays added (by 7-14 days) when I had already waited 5-6 weeks for delivery. This wasn't communicated to me until the last minute and I had customers waiting. I also had to chase for delivery updates. The delivery time is really long. I wish it could be quicker! The long delivery times and the poor communication are the things that could put me off ordering again.

We're happy with how the pins turned out. However, the backing cards were printed incorrectly (They were printed full bleed when they shouldn't have been, this compromised the whole experience and we had to have them printed elsewhere.) Is there anything you can do for us?

They were helpful, however upon closer inspection quite a bit of our stock is imperfect and we can't sell it.

Pins are very high quality. However, after working with other pin manufacturers, I've found that MBC is overpriced and slow. I also wish they communicated with you more during the process; after you approve your proof, you hear nothing from them again until your pins arrive a moth later. Other manufacturers let you know when the mold is done, send you a picture of your pins before they leave the factory, etc. Finally, I took off another star because MBC's terrible policy for re-ordering. EVERY other pin manufacturer I have worked with does not make you pay for your mold a second time if you want to order another run of pins. They simply charge you for production, per piece. MBC, on the other hand, bakes the mold fee in, so they force you to pay it again if you re-order. This is a complete rip-off, considering MBC already has the mold made. Great quality pins, but because they want to rip me off on the re-order, I won't be using MBC again.

Whilst their entire team is small, they can respond instantly, but only when they are not busy. They are very quickly overwhelmed, as tends to happen when they issue any time sensitive discount periods. One of my orders was not even reviewed for one week then finally sent to production a week later, 2 weeks after I ordered it, which makes a massive difference when the order takes a month to be fulfilled. Made by Cooper is only a middle-man, everything is sent off to China for production. Meaning if anything goes wrong after approval, you will need to wait a month before receiving, realising, sending back and waiting ANOTHER month for the correct delivery.

Thanks for the feedback, yes we are a small team which we see as a good point and does get busy some times. I can see that there was back and forth with this order however I can see we still delivered them two days ahead of the approx delivery date, we don't have any records to say there is anything wrong with them, if there is please let us know.

It was a little hard to get the design how I wanted with the back and forth with MadeByCooper's designers, but once we got it, they came out as expected.

My pins were delivered several days ahead of schedule, which was a nice suprise. However, around half ! of the batch I ordered are less than perfect. It's a massive shame as the other half of the shipment turned out superbly. I think using glitter in the enamel is an issue - it seems to spill over into the wrong areas (the pins annoyingly came covered in loose glitter, but was even more upset to discover after trying to clean them that many bits are also stuck underneath the enamel coating) and completely different colours of glitter end up where they shouldn't be - spoiling the design in many cases. There are many pins from my order which I'm not comfortable selling on to my customers. Dissapointed, but nothing bad enough to storm their headquarters over. If I decide to work with Made By Cooper again I'll have to become less of a perfectionist - but they are a trustworthy decent company to do business with.

I've used MadeByCooper around two times in the last year or so. The pins ive received were fine, but i think they put a bit too much on their plate as not only is their actual from order to in hand time 4-5 weeks which is a bit crazy considering they just get them shipped to you from China, but also how long it takes just to set up your visual and approvement. If you want anything changed on your mock up sometimes they're so busy it takes such a long time emailing back and forth. I appreciate the site and how convenient it is. But I also think there are a lot of cheaper and faster options out there

Love the pins and they arrived before the estimated delivery date. Giving 3 stars because there were some flaws (bubbles) in the enamel - not enough to make a stink on email, especially given their track record - and some pins had no rubber backing at all or the rubber backing was not a whole piece. Oliver is not the easiest person to ask questions to, got ignored a few times in initial design considerations. Jacob however was a big help and I'm grateful the communication was transferred to him. I'm also confused why the product was outsourced to China, making MadeByCooper a middle man. May as well work with the China company from the get as they're the ones doing all the work.

Had a few problems getting my instructions across, very slow lead time took around 4 weeks from first contact. No problem with the product though, patches good quality and just the way I wanted them. G. Hendry

Thanks for the review, as stated in our quote and on all material delivery time is approx 4 weeks, which was delivered in the time frame and as you state are good quality and exactly as you wanted.

Great communication and super fast delivery. The patches weren't as good quality as others I've seen but they were the cheapest by far so I guess you get what you pay for ¯\_(?)_/¯

A very good product. A long gap between placing the order and delivery compared to others marketing the same product. However they rushed the order for me but didn't quite manage the agreed date. I would use them again.
