The payment phase of the web site was broken on Saturday. I tried later but the error remained. I forwarded the technical error to Lyco, but did not hear back re the error fix. Eventually left it till Tuesday to complete the purchase. .

The light I ordered arrived without instructions or fitting kit. Customer services were prompt and helpful in rectifying this but the onus was on me to report the failing

Lyco were great in attempting to resolve an issue with delivery, having paid for next day and not receiving it. Unfortunately, Lyco partner with DPD who are absolutely shocking when it comes to quality of service. It would potentially put me off using Lyco in the future now I now DPD deliver for them. Other than delivery the item was in perfect condition and sold at a very reasonable price compared to elsewhere, Lyco - great! DPD - not so

I ordered two light fittings complete with bulbs. They arrived when promised in an enormous lightweight cardboard box which would have held at least six of the fittings and had insufficient packing to stop the two rolling about. The box was not marked FRAGILE or GLASS. On opening the box an ominous tinkling sound could be heard from one of the fittings and on opening the fitting the bulb within was shattered.No great harm so I rang the "Customer Service" number that afternoon. "Customer service" was an answering machine on which I left a message explaining and asking for a replacement bulb. Having received no response after several days I sent an e-mail and then received a reply apologising and promising a replacement fitting. It arrived today, properly packed and marked FRAGILE.It was undamaged.

I WAS DIRECTED TO YOUR SITE AS I REQUIRED 110VOLT BULBS AND TUBES, I WAS SENT 240VOLT PRODUCTS I NOW HAVE TO ARRANGE TO SEND THESE ITEMS BACK

My order was confirmed as being delivered on a Tuesday.....did not arrive, called on , the Wednesday afternoon and was told it would be delivered on the following Tuesday ! Had to escalate to get my three cables extracted from a pallet and sent direct from the manufacturer to arrive on the Friday of the original week of delivery. Was working on site 200 miles away from home, job completion on the Friday. The ad gave the impression the cables were ex stock, quick delivery. Moral....be honest !

When I picked my fan on the website, the VAT wasn't included in the price, so I had the nasty surprise of seeing it jump by more than £20 when it came to paying. It wasn't delivered on the stated date and I stayed in waiting for it for four days for nothing. Lyco didn't bother to notify me that there was a delay. I had to cancel the installation by an electrician at the last minute which cost me more than the 10% compensation I received from Lyco as an apology when they eventually replied to my emails and informed me of the new delivery date. So on the whole buying the fan from Lyco wasn't good experience and it's unlikely I will buy from them in the future again.

Again, I am sorry your delivery was later than expected. The majority of orders are dispatched in a timely manner according to customers requests however I accept this did not happen in your case.  The recent soaring temperatures did have some effect on supply of fans for many retailers.    I do however understand your disappointment at the delay.   We suggest on our website and order confirmations that contractors are not booked until goods are received for this very reason that periodically, as much as we try to avoid them, delays can occur. Our website has two icons on the top of the page allowing customers to chose to see prices with or without VAT depending on whether they are buying for domestic or commercial purposes.  Underneath each price is shown "ex VAT" or "inc VAT" depending on which icon is chosen.   You may have overlooked this. Order placed 11June. Still no goods delivered 21 June. Full address supplied and confirmed but allegedly incomplete address reason for no delivery.

Good bright LED lights. Lights out of stock only shows when you come to order and hence delivery was very slow (2 weeks)

Damaged lamps, damaged fittings, lamps not working. Item delivered with 4 lamps shattered, Light Fittings 2 out of 5 with bent Gear Trays, then having 2 lamps not working due to ends damaged/crushed Whole experience not good, even the delivery driver arrived with a Friday attitude, not wishing to bring the goods to the doorstep, preferring to leave them on the curb edge. WHILE THE DELIVERY WAS SWIFT THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS DISAPPOINTING BECAUSE THE ORDER WAS INCOMPLETE AND THE PRODUCT COULD NOT BE USED. AMENDS HAVE SINCE BEEN MADE, NEVERTHELESS NOT TO HAVE SUFFICIENT BATTERIES IN STOCK A PRODUCT BEING SOLD PROVES A CERTAIN ABMOUNT OF INEFFICIENCY

They offer new customers a 10% discount but when you get to the checkout it's much less. There's a premium rate phone number to sort it out. So it may cost you ore overall with the discount.
