“Bought a lunar Venus 550/4 so disappointed first of all we seemed to have a shadow on the toilet wall just out of warranty but the dealer said he would change the seal on the toilet door no change the shadow got bigger so had the dealer look at it again said he would seal above the lip on the outside of the caravan on the toilet door no change saw a shadow on the wall by the front side window of the van so again the dealer said he would replace the first part of the awning rail and that seemed to be better any way couple of weeks past and to my horror there was a shadow all down the wall from the cooker all the way down the side of the fixed single bed we paid 13,000 pounds for this 2015 van and have been told we will get 5,000 pounds back we are still paying this off so will never be able to buy another caravan I think lunar should be ashamed of them selves and just hope they can live with the fact that they are scamming people out of money”
“In 2017 I paid £28,000 for a Delta TS from Highbridge Caravans, since then we have had nothing but fault after fault. The build quality leaves much to be desired and certainly doesn’t meet the BS 9001 that they boast about. I have listed the issues below but the main one is the water system that doesn’t work. It won’t pump on board, it won’t keep the pressure, no water at all. We have not been away in the van without something going wrong. You have to use two pumps to receive one amount of water. A colleague who works at Bailey Caravans said that we have what is known as a “Friday afternoon caravan”.
I wrote to Lunar with no reply so wrote to the CEO and had a standard letter from the Production Director. Highbridge have been unable to fix it.
Screws over tightened forcing them through the plywood.
6 screws not tightened under the caravan (about 3” sticking out).
The pullout table only held by two screws.
Shelf in the cupboard not fitting allowing it to collapse (when I checked the vans at the dealer they were all the same).
Pullout basket not secured, only two short screws.
Water system that is not fit for purpose.
Van is going back in June as the bulkhead (wall inside the front locker) has come loose, a common fault with Lunars I am told.
