My order was cancelled by Lovell on 22/12/23 stating that they were unable to locate the item I had purchased and I would receive a refund within next 5 working days. Still waiting. I have Facebook messaged twice, the do not respond within 48 hours, emailed and have tried calling, never any answer and if it’s past 4pm they are gone for the day. Now requesting my bank to request refund.

Steer clear of this company. In January 2023 I ordered a pair of rugby boots from their website. The boots arrived. After two uses they were found to be faulty. At my own expense I sent the faulty boots back to them. Some days later another pair of boots arrived but they are not the boots that I ordered, they are actually a cheaper pair. So I sent these cheap boots back to them and then waited over a week for the proper boots to arrive. When the courier delivered this afternoon there was a tracksuit top in the package. I really could not have been any more helpful in this process as a customer but their systems are dysfunctional and their sales guy Mike will not communicate by a telephone call, and will only use email. It’s been very difficult and totally unsatisfactory. I will never use Lovell again and I urge other customers to stay clear of this incompetent firm.

I have ordered some boots which have not arrived, When contacting customer services I am told they cannot refund me until the courier advises that they are actually lost with no time scale given. This is totally unacceptable as my contract is not with the courier but with Lovell Rugby who have my money and have not supplied the boots I ordered

Used to be good but beyond awful now. Items shown as in stock and let's you pay for them, but they are not in stock. I checked after this and the item was still shown as available. Sounds like a scam to get money out of people for things they know have sold out. They never answer emails so if you need some customer service, there isn't any. Awful company and I will never use again.

Have ordered boots. Email saying delivered but not delivered. Have sent emails and one response which didn't make sense. Customer service terrible. My son has no boots and looks like I will have to buy from somewhere else as he needs asap. Will not be using this website again. Customers beware

Been using these guys for years, never had a problem but based on my last order I have to leave a review as frankly, there is no other way to contact this company when something goes wrong.... EDIT - Just seen they've bought out by the garbage merchants that are Sports Direct, which explains everything. I was expecting a delivery of some new rugby boots a week ago. Nothing arrived, no communication to explain what's happened & there is no way to contact customer services other than to send an email or message on Facebook. Emails take 'up to 48 hours' to get a response, FB is apparently within an hour but that's a load of rubbish. 4 emails sent. Zero replies. In summary, if your order is all ok they're fine, but heaven help you if you have a problem as they really don't seem to want to offer any help whatsoever. Last time I'll be using them.

Horrific customer service. Will not answer messages from email, Instagram or website despite quoting 48 hour responses. Only refunded half my returns and won’t even acknowledge that they have received the other half of the returns. Would 100% avoid this company.

Bought rugby boots at £185. Not received. Emailed the company 30 time with no reply. Order placed almost 6 weeks ago. Terrible customer service! Do not buy from them.

Product did arrive, but was much later than agreed and I missed the event I bought it for. Make sure you get them to properly agree delivery date.

Lovell didnt deliver my goods. I explained this but they said the issue was now closed. I had to go to my bank and get my money back by raising a visa debit dispute. Avoid this company.

I ordered two pairs of the same trainers so that the delivery cost was shared over a larger purchase. A day later I received notification that my trainers were ready for dispatch. I also then received an email saying that they only had one pair so the other pair were cancelled. I emailed back within 12 minutes to explain that if they could only supply one pair, to cancel the order. I had a reply back 2 days later basically saying it was too late as they had already sent the order. This meant the delivery charge was more than 25% of the cost of the trainers. In my opinion, if you can't supply the order having accepted it, you should contact the customer before just sending it anyway.

Items never arrived. Lovell blamed Hermes, Hermes blamed Lovell who said my rugby boots were posted through the letter box! Took 10 days or arguing to get a refund and had to state I’d escalate through the credit card company. Then they blocked me on Facebook for a negative review they said was “racist” but can’t substantiate or provide evidence for this slander. Best avoid

Ordered three British Lions tops. It arrived swiftly but I had to send two items back at my expense for larger sizes. I accept that. However, they only sent one replacement item. Took 3 emails and over a week to get a reply. Said they were out of stock of the hoody in the new size I requested. Strange as it was showing as available on their website. Got the impression they didn't want to pay for postage again even though it was their error. Promised a refund. Again multiple chasing emails and weeks passed before this happened. Hoody in the size needed is still showing as available on their website but zero response to queries as to why they could not simply send me the hoody I wanted. Could be phantom products. Very disappointed.

Ordered my boots 7 Oct. Nothing since then. Messaged them 2 weeks ago: we will update you". Was chasing them for another week. Answering very slow, short and unfriendly. Don't even apologise. Overall - very unfriendly, rude and slow. Stay away from them.

item arrived damaged escalated claim to their manager who refused to deal with this complaint raised manager refused to advise who their regulating body is and now ignoring my emails also refused to cooperate with a data request this has now been sent to the ICO investigation pending please avoid

Ordered a pair of running shoes 13 days ago (marked as "Available now") and they shipped it only today! The expected delivery date indicated on the website was 21th August (today is 2 september). I contacted customer service and they just replied "Hi, the order has not yet been shipped. You will receive notification once dispatched.". I will no more shop in this store, they are not ready for ecommerce

My order hasn’t arrived, I ordered it 1 month ago. I send many emails asking can I get a refund as I still haven’t received it. I resend it many times and yet there is still no reply. Customer service is very poor. All my money gone.... can’t get a refund.

Ordered some shoes on eBay. Sent me the wrong size shoes. I followed the returns procedure on eBay and sent them back the next day to the address on the paperwork that eBay generated. After weeks of the parcel not being delivered, I contacted them only to be told they're not using that warehouse during the pandemic, and that I should have checked their website for instructions. Bear in mind I sent them back before lockdown, and I didn't buy from their website, I bought from eBay, so why should all check all their points of purchase and compare their returns procudures? By that logic I'd expect their staff to spend the same amount of time checking what they are actually sending me and we could avoid the problem in the first place. It's also not my fault if they forget to update their returns procedure on eBay. The customer service rep stopped responding after suggesting serveral times that I was at fault the return couldn't be delivered. After two months I got a refund, but less the postage costs. So the cheeky ***** send me the wrong item and I'm out of pocket for the delivery, and they won't even refund me my own cost for having to sending the incorrect item back. So to summarise, I'm over £10.00 out of pocket and they had my money for two months and I've wasted a couple of hours dealing with some customer service rep on eBay who suggest I'm at fault. Just avoid these cowboys, it's not worth the hassle.

Shocking. Paid for items that the website said was in stock and later turned out they never had them to sell. Also asked basic questions about which weights fitted which bars. They didn't know and apparently they couldn't ask there suppliers. Seriously the worst company I've dealt with Selling phantom products and not even knowing basic answers to what they sell. Sounds very much like a fake website to me.
