“Over the moon to have found Love Logs, they are so well seasoned I use about half the amount of wood I was previously using, I get higher heat consumption and significantly less ash which as a full time boat dweller with no other heating source is an aboslute game changer. They are a little more expensive than some other options by weight but I use so much less this becomes negligable. The subscription is so easy to change the dates, pause etc. It seems as though they really take environmental concerns seriously rather than just use it to green wash. It's plastic free, a family run company, supports british woodland practices and plants trees. Thank you Heather and Paul!!”

“Quality, quality and quality again. The Oak and Apple wood is proper wood, that will not go up in smoke in a matter of seconds, like the cheap stuff in the supermarkets etc The Charcoal, whilst fairly pricey, is of a much, much higher quality than the usual stuff. I highly recommend the Apple Charcoal which burns beautifully, hot and long. You really do get what you pay for, and best of all no nasty chemicals in sight, and sustainable for the environment. What’s not to like, I’ve been ordering from here for the last year or so, and they’ve got a lifelong customer with me. Next day delivery as well, always turns up prompt and well boxed. 10/10”

Hi Adam, Thanks for the review. We've tried countless couriers and DPD are genuinely the best of them all when it comes to delivery performance, which is why we stick with them - but I'm really sorry you aren't getting that service level. As you know, we have a complaint in with DPD, and we're waiting for them to update us about this issue and how they plan to avoid it moving forward. We appreciate your business! Paul

“First time purchase. As reviewed by others the logs do have a good burn rate but I find they don’t burn hot enough unless you get your log burner up to temperature with other logs first. I’m not at all disappointed but it’s a hefty price tag for a box of logs no matter the quality. I could buy twice the amount for an alternative for the same price and they would last no less time.”

Hi Matthew, I'm really sorry to read this review, that's definitely not what we expect from our logs - they're dried to around 15% moisture so they shouldn't be taking time to catch or burn efficiently. Do you have any logs left at all? “I ordered a box of Hobbit Logs to try on the little Boatman stove that we have on our narrowboat. The box arrived the following day. The shortest logs are perfect and they burn cleanly and for longer than the ones we were using before. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be reordering.”

“We have ordered from Love Logs for a about a year and the Hobbit logs are perfect for our small burner. Deliveries come on time and are packaged amazingly! We had a problem on the width of the logs in the last delivery (delivered on a Saturday). We emailed Love Logs and received a reply on a Sunday (which was very unexpected but much appreciated). Immediately Love Logs arranged for new boxes to be sent and the other boxes to be collected to see what had gone wrong - seriously could not ask for more than that. Exemplary customer service.”

“This is the 2nd order I have placed with this company. The delivery is extremely fast and the quality of the product is amazing. When you light it, there is no smoke whatsover, its so clean burning. This year I opted for the single species Oak and I think it is even cleaner burning. It's nice to buy such a quality sustainable product with none of those nasty chemicals.”

“Been buying logs from supermarkets to supplement logs bought from a local farm. Thought logs were all the same. I was wrong. These logs burnt longer, provided more heat and were nearly price comparable. Will be buying again. Delivery was prompt and neat. Wish there was some way the cardboard boxes could be reused rather than just recycled, they are strong.”
