“Whilst I can't offer an opinion on what kind of service LMC or Farnham Ltd offer when you're looking to buy a car, I can when it comes to their servicing department. What a truly appalling company. Really terrible workmanship and a complete refusal to acknowledge it. Their servicing department sent my family out in a car which was dangerously unroadworthy after alleging that they had dropped the fuel tank and welded the chassis - subsequent investigations revealed that the fuel tank hadn't actually been dropped at all (a substantial quantity of welding spoil remained on top of the tank), hence the mechanic failed to notice that the chassis was completely rotted away underneath. The 'welding' they did could be peeled off by hand ( just take a look at the video attached). They had also serviced the car six months earlier. Fortunately, as it turns out, the head gasket blew a couple of months later or there would have inevitably been a serious accident, probably when my wife was towing horses, with the children on board. If I could give them less than one star I would certainly do so. Discussions are ongoing with VOSA and Counsel.”
