“Exceptional. Super personalised service, incredibly comfortable, tailored made, quality mattress. We bought this mattress during the pandemic so no ability to test the mattress or 'know' what we were buying BUT, my husband had a L&F mattress previously and we needed a custom-size. I timed things perfectly as Julian was just placing orders and, I can hardly believe it either - we had our custom size mattress delivered in just under a week! It's really comfortable and you can see it's a good old fashioned, properly made mattress. Delighted”

“A perfect mattress, no need to mould it to me, perfectly comfortable from the very first moment! Really good value. I know it'll stay perfect for years and years (like my last one!). “We have just bought our second super king, firm pocket sprung mattress (after 12 years of great sleep) and it is the best thing we have ever bought, twice! We also have an Isobella bed frame that is 12 years old. This has moved house twice and it is a good a new with no noises or squeaks. Impressive quality, built to last (both mattress and bedframe!). I was delighted to find LandF still selling these mattresses as they really are built to last and give an amazingly good nights sleep. The person next to you will not be disturbed or woken up if you move as the mattress is so well built!”

“Our first choice for mattresses. Have just taken delivery of a new 1200 'firm' pocket sprung mattress and it is wonderfully comfortable and beautifully made - just like our last one. Great customer service and advice. Reliable delivery team, the mattress was also well-protected in transit by heavy duty polythene. Highly recommended.”

“I contacted Julian at the end of Lockdown on the chance that I might get a new bed and mattress. I was very upset to learn that they were moving and had no beds. However, I perked up when I was told there might be a mattress that fitted my requirements in storage. Communicating with Julian was delightful, he is charming and funny whilst being very business orientated. He did have a Kingsize Medium pocket sprung mattress which was checked and promptly delivered by my delivery people!!! Thank you Julian for your time, patience and knowledge. I told you if it was for me it would be mine and it is - the best, comfiest, most supportive mattress ever!!! I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.”

“I needed a good bed frame and mattress for the two years that I would be staying in London. The service and quality at L+F beats any trendy place with questionable sourcing and manufacturing. I Love my "Manhattan Style" bed frame so much that I'm taking it back to Manhattan with me when I go back home. :)”

“Having bought my beds and mattresses from Litvinoff & Fawcett for the past 20 years, I recently upgraded to a Medium Pocket Sprung mattress, and I haven't been disappointed, It's an extremely comfortable mattress at a fraction of the cost of famous brands. A very personal service too, including super helpful delivery driver, Sean. There's some lovely wooden furniture and beds frames in the shop too.”

“We've recently purchased our second Litvinoff & Fawcett pocket spring mattress. It's once again been a pleasure to deal with Julian. Sean speedily delivered the mattress the next day. We want to buy things that last and go out of our way to support local businesses. The quality of Litvinoff & Fawcett mattresses by far outweighs anything for sale in the High Street. Litvinoff & Fawcett mattresses are handmade in their Hackney workshop using traditional, natural materials. Considering the price we paid, for such a top quality item, it's incredible value for money. We sleep in supreme comfort and so do our guests. I had a history of back issues before discovering Litvinoff & Fawcett. It might be a coincidence (but I think not), that I have had no back problems at all in the 11 years since we bought our first mattress. We'll continue recommending Litvinoff & Fawcett to all. “I have had my platform bed and luxury open coil mattress for 6 months now and still have no complaints. The bed is still sturdy and the mattress is fabulous. Julian was helpful from start to finish with my order and the fact that he helped me choose the right mattress over the phone shows just how knowledgeable he is. I knew it was a risk buying a mattress without trying myself ( I was urged to visit the showroom) however for me it paid off as its perfect and just what I described I wanted. As he explained the coils have settled over the time we have been sleeping on it but it has not effected how comfortable it is. I would highly recommended this company for outstanding quality solid wooden beds and handmade mattresses. Its hard to find UK based companies like this and in my opinion they should be supported. If I ever need another bed/mattress I wouldn't go anywhere else however I don't think I will need to replace what I have now for a very long time!”

“Julian was very patient and supportive in helping me to make up my mind about which mattress to get. I love the fact that the mattresses are handmade in the UK out of natural fabrics. The lovely delivery man whose name I have forgotten was amazingly calm and helpful and all in all, I can't fault the whole process. The mattress itself is so comfortable and will no doubt outlive me! I have been recommending Litvinoff and Fawcett for years, ever since buying the first bed from them and will continue to do so in the future.”

“I phoned today and spoke to Julian .... I am replacing the first mattress I bought from Litvinoff and Fawcett in 1986 !, the new one arrives on Saturday. All 3 of our beds and mattresses are from them, 1 1986 vintage and 2 from 2003. All still looking lovely, simple, strong, stable design and construction. Good, clear communication and customer service, fair pricing for a quality product. Heartily recommend.”
