“Please do not edit this review. Word of warning do not purchase a sofa / corner group etc from Listers. After buying the above for our first home just before Christmas 2 days, it was delivered, great. Within two weeks the cushions / seats had bobbled, I contacted the store and waited weeks for a response. A structural engineer was sent out, why ? when it is the cushions that are the problem, cut a long story short. Listers are not interested and are not prepared to do anything. This corner group I purchased from the Llandudno store was not cheap, they basically don’t care. I have been told to shave the bobbles off and get on with it Please think twice before buying.”

“Absolutely fantastic Customer Service and shopping experience in store carried through to the delivery of our armchairs . We called in store on spec this being our first visit to Listers . The shop had an amazing atmosphere and range of goods on sale . The staff were friendly , helpful and personable and gave useful and knowledgeable advice on the products on sale . We came away ordering two beautiful armchairs where we had arranged for delivery . On the day of delivery we received a telephone call to give a precise time of arrival . The delivery men were professional and efficient . Really pleased all round . Margo served us in store who was first class , we Carn’t remember the names of the delivery chaps but they were first rate too , cheerful and helpful .”

“Absolutely amazing customer service, and lovely, affordable furniture. Even after nearly a year of use where we had a small problem with one of the pieces on the bed frame we bought with Listers, Alaina from customer service provided swift and amazing support, sent the amazing guys around from Listers with a replacement piece within a week, and fixed up the frame for us. They’re all a lovely bunch, and extremely reliable!”

“We have just taken delivery of our new bedroom furniture. We are very happy with the whole experience we have received from listers. The furniture is very good quality, the staff in the store were extremely helpful and the delivery men were on time, polite and efficient. Will definitely be returning for more. Thankyou listers.”

“Bought a steel log holder was told three in stock would be delivered in one week or more was told one on show could not be sold waited two weeks and was told all out of stock when I returned to the store the one on show had been sold . This is not the first time we have had problems with this store, My advice to anyone thinking of buying from Listers is to keep well away”

“I went to find a dining room table that would be able to use with my husband’s wheelchair. The young lady downstairs was so helpful and said to look upstairs I was confronted with a woman that looked me up and down and started bossing another member of staff saying where are we putting the Cotswolds range. Yes I had just come from work as I sell trucks so old jeans and work boots but was blown away by this shallow person and her disgusting attitude. Yes the prices were cheap and cheerful but wouldn’t even consider going over their threshold again if they have that type of person working for them”

“Had our lounge and bedroom furniture from here. Excellent quality and service before, after and during lockdown. One problem we had out of 3 deliveries and one collection was sorted out quickly by the manager. Staff were friendly and extra helpful both in store and delivery.”

“I placed an order, they part delivered and cancelled the remaining. No email or explanation, apparently it’s something I should work out by noticing the refund in my bank statement. Poor customer service.”

“Bought Sophia Grey Large TV unit, would never have paid full price for it, the back of it is shocking, staples all over the place, shame as the last piece of furniture we got from here was excellent”

“We want to say that we were in Listers in Chester to buy more furniture, we love the store. Want to thank especially the Manager I think he was so kind and helped me out with face covering, how kind he was. We also think the staff are so helpful and nothing is to much trouble”

“I honestly don’t know where to start! Service when purchasing second to none but that’s it!!! Wrong ordered processed therefore received a sofa I didn’t want! Delivery men damaged my neighbours fence which I had to pay for, transportation feet from sofas not removed by delivery men therefore my new wooden floor scratched!! Atrocious quality!! Will need to replace them a lot sooner than normal! Also the very pleasant assistants not so pleasant when you have the audacity to complain!! I could go on! A few people I know have already gone elsewhere for their new sofas!!!”

“Dreadful experience, my sofa keeps tearing, Ive had one repair and now it’s torn again on 4 out of 6 cushions. They’re now ignoring my emails. Sofa less than 2 years old. My advice is avoid as they use rubbish suppliers, go to DFS instead.”

“Service at time of purchase was good but that stopped at point of delivery when presented with a disclaimer at my door before the deliver. y team would enter my property. This would exclude them from any liability should they break or damage my property while carrying my purchase into my home. For me that put Listers in a different light. Not only do they charge for delivering their own good but also produce a disclaimer at you before carrying it any further than your door. Was told if did not sign they would not deliver my goods. That to me speaks volumes of level of service once you have purchased the goods and something that future customers should be aware of. I only hope that should anything be wrong with my purchase they are as good as other customers say they are.”
