- Unfortunately the product (Pacific Lifestyle 70-095 Fabric Light Brown Dog Doorstop) is unfit for purpose as it is not heavy enough to support a single one of the doors in my home. I regret that I removed the packaging without testing it first. Sorely disappointed.”
“We bought the light from here, because the website said it would be delivered within 7 days. We had scaffolding in place for decorating the hall and needed the light to arrive before the scaffolding was collected. We phoned regularly to ensure the light would arrive in time and to explain why the the order was so urgent, (scaffolding was 200 a week and could not extend at a daily rate) we were told that it would arrive in time. When it became clear the light would not arrive in time, we asked the company if we could pay extra for next day delivery. (At this point it had arrived at their shop from the manufactures, they just needs to post it to us). The company were completely inflexible and would not entertain the thought of using a next day delivery company - despite it being packaged at their shop, they would only use their courier which did not offer this service. There was a complete lack of customer service and not care we would have to pay 200 for scaffolding. No apology for the light being late either. Luckily the scaffolding company did understand good customer service and let us keep the scaffolding for an extra day at no extra charge, so we could fit the light which arrived late.
Would not use this company again due to lack of customer service.”
“Lovely light. Poor after sales service. 2 of the light bulbs went immediately. Still waiting for a call back from Paul's. The light fitting cost £153 and the same day it was fitted I spent £5 on new bulbs!”
“I purchased a lamp purely on the description saying the shade was light lavender when the lamp came the shade was a light taupe colour I would not have ordeded it knowing this I did ring customer services twice and was told togo on lineand fill in the form and take a picture of the lamp I had problems doing this so ive given up its really put me off I wont be shopping with hour company again as I found this poor customer service for avery simple problem”
“I really try not to provide negative feedback. However......
The light fitting was smaller than I expected, and the output not nearly bright enough. So I have now moved it to a smaller area and bought higher wattage for four of the five LED bulbs (only around 50p each) and it's fine now.
I bought TWO fittings. The second one is really only bright enough to be used in the downstairs closet.
No problem to instal. No delay in delivery. The actual fitting is as pretty as I'd hoped. Perhaps I didn't do my homework, but my only contention is the level of lighting is way below what I expected and for that I do feel disappointed.”
“First it took too long for delivery,Amazon and other internet cos deliver within 48 hrs.
Second we ended up with the wrong product, two very similar products were listed with similar part nos. How we ordered the wrong one, I don't know but I can't be bothered with the returns policy and conditions etc. Too much hassle. So we have paid £30 and not got satisfaction.”
“Was disappointed when I actually saw my lamp. Didn't think it looked anything as nice as it did in picture so wanted to send back - returns policy dreadful. Have never had such a problem returning a product and it has cost me £20 in postage.”
