Dreadful arrived 13th April half the bar restaurant area closed of fir cleaning allegedly, people trying to get a table, eventually let us in,no bar menus,,had to ask for price of each wine,as no drinks menu,,,a joke of a place,worse then ever

This airport has the worst parking facilities in the country and the most arrogant and offensive staff … oh machines that don’t work contactless but they don’t tell you that until your at the exit with 10 cars behind 2 lanes out of 4 working .. helpful arrogant staff then have the bright idea for you to go into the terminal … just fix the machines and provide a level service thats all we ask !

To call this a third world airport would be an insult to those airports. It has had money spent on retail facilities but none on customer comfort. Lack of seating, dirty toilets. Had to wait over 20 minutes standing in a corrugated "bus shelter" with a bare concrete floor in 2°C temperature, waiting to board my plane. No seating, being of advanced age it is something I do not want to repeat. It is an embarrassment to Yorkshire.

Arrival on time from Rome today. Disembarked aircraft into shuttle bus to terminal. Arrive at terminal, some of passengers leave bus and head towards building… guy in yellow vest shouts ‘wait for me… I have to go first!’ Passengers continue to leave bus… guys pushes past passengers shouting George out of the way!!! Then all passengers are shouted at to get back on the bus. So like sardines were made to wait for 20 mins, no explanation, no apology to those passengers who were verbally abused. We were then told to enter the terminal building and present passports as usual. This little tin pot power hungry official needs a lesson in customer service and polite etiquette. If he can’t get himself in the correct position to direct passengers who know no difference, he is incompetent, rude and needs to be sacked!!! Really not called for. This was the flight from Rome on 8.3.24 about 3.00pm. I do hope other passengers particularly those who were verbally abused let the authorities know about this incompetent individual!!

Only 2 stars as my spare watch was removed from within my handbag during the scanning process. I have been in contact with the lost property since my return from holiday but no joy. It appears to have vanished. Warning to be especially careful when losing sight of your hand luggage during security checks.

The Directors of this company should be ashamed. If Head Hunters see LBA on your credentials, they will run a mile. Where is your corporate integrity, pride and drive. You are a disgrace to Yorkshire. Step up to the plate before Joe public start a boycott......its coming.

My review isn’t about the staff they are always super helpful it’s the actual airport itself…. It’s dirty!! The walk to the plane down the walkway is horrible.. I don’t know if it’s a lack of funding or management but I would be ashamed if this is what travellers see when they come into the country for the first time it’s an absolute disgrace

Check in staff, absolutely and utterly rude. They would not take our cases off us, and their command of the English language was atrocious, one female member of staff we had to ask her to repeat everything because we couldn't understand a word of what she was saying. Going through security things got from bad to worse. Ignorant, rude, loud shouting and bellowing at travellers, in fact we felt absolutely bullied, in fact on person in particular was a bully, who turned his name tag round so we could not see his name when we complained back at him. It absolutely ruined the start of what should have been an exciting holiday. LBA management should be utterly ashamed at allowing this to go on like it does. Staff re-retraining comes to mind.

If only I could give this place no stars. What a dump. It’s been a few years since we flew from here but I doubt they have cleaned the toilets in that time, they are truly vile. In fact the whole experience was horrible, heaven knows how much cash this place generates, but you can be sure none of it is being reinvested, it’s dirty. Whoever is in charge needs to go and have a look at Newcastle or Teesside airports, that’s how to do it, genuinely whoever is in charge should be ashamed of themselves.

Abysmal organisation, as a frequent flyer leeds Bradford is the worst unorganised airport going , 6.00 flight to tenerife first flight of the day , with a scattering of light snow the whole airport comes to a standstill , after being kept on a freezing bus for 45mins , no info then proceed to be kept on the plane for another hour again no info , other than the plane is being defrosted, so does no one keep an eye on the weather reports why on earth do you need to get passengers out of the airport, you really do live up to your name port a cabin airport

I haven’t even got on my flight yet. A very nice and helpful gentleman named Yasoob who works in WHSMITH has made my day. He helped me find the items I wanted, and was great to talk to. Made me laugh and has made my day x100 better! We had a lot in common too. Please give him the credit he deserves guys. Deffo going to come say hi when I’m back on Thursday! Thanks Yasoob!

How on earth can the shops within the airport rip off customers like they do. I seriously think someone needs to step in here and take a good look at what these shops are charging for simple things like sweets, crisps and chocolate, it is so bad I feel I have to name and shame leeds airport. One bar of chocolate was selling for £13 which I have paid £4 for in a local supermarket. Disgusting.

Leeds Bradford is an awful airport. Security is like a cattle market with you herded through a small hot security room. Things only get worse from there as once through security you find the airport has few facilities and even fewer sets. If you want an alcoholic drink expect at least a 20-30 minute quote. The return journey was just as bad as they had a problem unloading the planes, which resulted in a delay of over an hour after we landed and got through passport control. Which led to thee plane's worth of passengers crammed in to the very small baggage collection area, with the entrance and exit next to each other so the whole place became gridlocked. To top it off our daughter had to move from the 1 hour free parking, missed the turning to the medium stay due to the lack of lighting and poor signage, she had to reverse back a few feet to get in but got a £100 penalty notice for stopping. Clearly Leeds Bradford aiport expect you to do hand brake turns around if you miss the entrance to one of their car parks.

I’ve been just offended by a rude, sarcastic staff member at the security checkpoint. I was saying byes to my elderly mum who was flying on her own back home and I was shouted at and patronised by very rude scruffy member of staff. As I have found out later I was allowed to stay for a second where I stood ( airport was empty so I wasn’t interrupting anything) the sarcastic awful comments followed. I’m sure there are nicer ways to speak to customers! Awful experience as always at Leeds Bradford airport!

This was the first but last time we ever use Leeds Bradford airport. My wife and I arrived 2hrs ahead of our flight to Rome, checked in, then joined the security queue. There was only 1 queue for ALL flights but we were advised there was only a 24 minute wait. Well over 1hr later, we were still only halfway round the queue. I tried to alert staff that if we didnt get through security, we would miss our flight. I was advised to "write an email" of complaint to someone at the airport. Eventually, I managed to alert a member of staff, who understood our dilemma, and assisted us to get to the security desk etc. After going through security, we were rushed through to the departure lounge at gate 10, with only 5 mins to spare. However, the extremely rude, condescending staff member, pointed out that we were 10 mins late, the flight was closed and our luggage was about to be removed from the plane. We tried to explain that the delay was caused by the lengthy wait to get through security. Eventually, after various radio messages were made, we were advised we could board the flight but we would have to hurry and we should "think ourselves lucky" we were being allowed to board. My wife and I are both in our 60s and I have had a hip replacement, due to arthritis. These days we don't usually 'sprint' anywhere, but we had to run the full length of the departure gate to board the flight. The final blow came from another member of staff, who stated that we should have listened to the fast track messages for our flight. I would add that, whilst we were queuing, we both heard only one fast track announcement, which was for a flight to Alicante, not for a flight to Rome. We may be in our senior years now, but we are not senile yet! The whole experience was chaotic and atrocious, to say the least!

An embarrassment to Yorkshire. Leeds Bradford Airport is a shambles. It is dirty, the toilets are disgusting, there is very little seating and I couldn’t find a water fountain to fill up my water bottle. I left from Departure Gate 10 which requires a long trek along a narrow broken concrete path around what feels like the outside of the airport. The departure gate was in a temporary building. Yorkshire has lost both Sheffield and Sheffield Doncaster Airports. Leeds Bradford is the largest airport in Yorkshire and has additional use due to the closure of Sheffield Doncaster. It can’t cope and is like a poor third world airport. It is run down, dirty and dismal.

only use this airport as its close to home. its dirty and unwelcoming. toilets smell and floors in need of a good clean. take a plane to mahon airport and see how immaculate it is.

My god what a shabby dirty old place, security staff that clearly don’t want to be there judging by their attitude and body language, world duty free still same old stock as last year but now with added self service that isn’t, still have to get staff to seal your purchases so what’s the point? Boots shop with a good amount of different toiletries, sunscreen and other products you need on holiday, also good meal deals but again these dreadful self service checkouts that provide more trouble then it’s worth 😡 WH Smith so extremely overpriced it’s criminal. Bars and coffee outlets galore at costs that make your wallet cry. Nowhere to sit in that place, far too hot..do they not have aircon?
