“Bought lots of LED Lumilife bulbs 10 year guarantee. 18 months 2 years ago 3 have now gone and the company just do not want to know. Asked for all order numbers their system has now deleted earlier orders on my account! I pay for the postage but no replacements if no order numbers. Not replying to e mails cannot get them on the phone.”

“Absolute garbage do not touch with a barge pole. Incomplete order delivered. Tried contacting by email......nothing, tried phoning.....nothing. All they want is your money with no support services. After 2 months of trying to resolve claimed money back on credit card in the end. Will be using someone else more reliable, honest and trustworthy in future. If you could give no stars in review I would”

“Order was placed 14 months ago and my account was charged. Despite numerous emails to them I have still had no reply and no goods. This company is not trustworthy - do not trust them with your money!”

“This is the company someone should take serious action against them for poor customer support. They don’t have any contact number, the customer support team just not bothered. Why not someone asking financial conduct authority to do something against them, audit them and ban from doing business. It is hopeless they are holding my money and not delivering the lights I bought. Every day frustrating experience electrician asking for lights so he could finish the job to get money as per contract. On the other hand stuck with these idiots neither refunding or delivering the order. I WILL CLEARLY SAY DONOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, they are a pain.”

“Purchased 100 led bulbs from LED hut. Lifespan of bulbs only a fraction of that stated. They will not replace as they closed one LED hut company and are now using another LED hut company. They say they have no responsibility. They say that there are no UK contacts for the extremely poor quality Lumilife bulbs which they sold to me. They continue to sell Lumilife products. I suggest you avoid both LED hut and Lumilife.”

“I have been purchasing SES LED bulbs from them for a few years but the quality is very poor. They sometimes have a shorter life than conventional tungsten filament lamps.”

“The bulbs failed long before the advertised MTBF. Returned to LEDHut to claim under warranty only to find they have carried out a phoenix into a new legal entity. Surely carrying over the warranties into the new company would be a good thing to do for the brand and customer satisfaction? It would, unless the burden of these warranty claims was so large it was causing cashflow issues. In summary, I'm guessing one reason for the company failure was the warranty claims on the unreliable bulbs. It wouldn't surprise me if they just repeated this cycle every couple of years if the bulbs aren't improved.”

“Absolute rubbish. I have dealt with this company for quite a few years and always had a reasonable relationship regarding failed bulbs until a few months ago when 12 of the 16 Gu10 7w Lumilife bulbs I bought a few months previously all packed up. They said they would replace them but I have heard nothing since despite many attempts to contact them. They must have gone bust probably through selling rubbish products. Make sure you do not use this company!”

“Same as others, will not replace bulbs that have failed prematurely. Due to legal fiddle, led hut have gone bust but are still trading. I WONT EVER USE THEM AGAIN”

“Absolutely terrible company, I’ve been buying from LED Hut for many years now spending 100’s and 10’s of pounds, our whole house is kitted our with their bulbs and fitting, However the last order had an issue with the enclosed instruction leaflet and caused a huge problem, We purchased some downlights for our kitchen as we are refitting it, I spent hours rectifying our ceiling issues and got it all nice and smooth ready to install the downlights, took the instructions out of the box and read them a couple of times to make sure I had the measurements right for the holes I needed to cut, it states 88mm, I looked around for a hole saw but could only find an 89mm, not an issue as 1mm won’t make a difference, haha how wrong was I, I went to fit the lights after cutting 9 holes and noticed there was a gap all around the units, I was bewildered and could not understand how this had happened, I measured the hole and yes it was 89mm, I looked at the instructions again and yes it stated 88mm, I then looked at the box and to my horror it said 85mm hole, now we have 9 I’ll fitting fire rated donwlights which don’t seal as there is a gap around them, I got in touch with led hut who said they should fit as the springs pull them in, that was it no apologies or solutions, they then closed the case, Never again will I use them or recommend anyone else to ever.”

“Avoid like the plague. I purchased a number of orders with LED Hut to benefit from their 5 year warranty on LumiLife LED bulbs. I actually paid over the odds for said bulbs to benefit from the 5 year warranty service. Fast forward two years, I have a handful of failed LumiLife bulps in need of replacement. I've been told, although LED Hut are still trading and offering EXACTLY the same service but operated by Supreme 88 Ltd, they refuse to honor warranty claims for anything purchased before 16/06/2019, all in all that leads me to having wasted close to £130 having purchased between December 2017 and January 2018. Having experienced multiple failures with all LumiLife bulbs purchased, I'll be amazed if I get 3 years out of a 1/4 of the products purchased. I appreciate things with financial difficulties and administrators being called in can impact services, however to purchase a brand name and offer the same services under that name, but refuse to fulfill warranty requests for the same products being sold with the same warranty promises, it's just a complete an utter con. If you're considering using LEDHut, I'd ask yourself how long Supreme 88 Ltd will operate with the brand, because that's effectively how long your warranty will be, it could be 6 months, it could be 12 months, 18 months who knows. Either way, it's an absolute disgrace.”

“I purchased some strip led lighting which had a guarantee. I contacted the company and they acknowledge the guarantee and asked me to return the lights with the form they asked us to include. After 13 days of no acknowledgement I contacted them. They said that the Led Hut that we purchased them from had gone into LIQUIDATION. They knew the purchase date so they would be aware that we could not claim. So why did they ask us to return them at a cost of £4.00. I smell a rat and I hope its not long before they once again go into liquidation. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY”

“Do NOT order from LED Hut! They are happily taking orders but not dispatching and not answering the phone now. I called to see why my order was late, to be promised they would be dispatched on a certain day. That day has gone and it still hasn't been dispatched and the phone lines are not working.”

“Please avoid this company. After 300 hours of use 2/3rds of the bulbs have failed, they are advertised as lasting 25,000 hours. When returned under the 3 year guarantee Ledhut have failed to honour their promise to reimburse postage costs. Do not purchase from this company.”

“There LED floodlights don't last more then a year, then they require to to send faulty goods back, before they decided to send replacements, takes about 2 weeks so you are with out lights.”
