“I love my new piercings! Got a good deal during the black friday pre-sale and treated myself with four lovely pieces. Shipping went smoothly (although the package stayed a few days in the German customs department, but that's no fault of Laura Bond) and the piercings look stunning! I wear them day and night, they are so comfy. Looking forward to treating myself with more pieces in the future!”

“My new gold nose stud is perfect in every way except it keeps rotating downwards so the back part is always stickting out of my nose which is frustrating. I havent had this issue with any others. I have no idea why. Am i doing something wrong? I love that the stud is flat to my nose and it is so pretty but if i cant fix the back part then i may not be able to wear it.”

It sounds like the nose stud you have purchased is a little long for your piercing channel, hence why it might be visible from the inside of the nostril. Similarly, the stud you purchased is our 1mm gauge option, which is slightly thinner than a standard 1.2mm which is likely what you have been pierced with. We have 1.2 x 6mm labret posts on our website available to purchase, which might be a better fitting option for you. If you're unsure on sizing, we would recommend visiting a reputable piercer in your area, however if you are local to Edinburgh feel free to pop into our boutique. “Bought the rook hoop earring. The best thing about it is the fact it’s hypoallergenic (being real gold) and the shape (an oval) is perfect for the rook and allows it to be properly shown off and comfortable. However, the precious stones are so dull! I was really hoping this would be a perfect sparkle in my ear but it’s actually so dull and looks just like tarnished silver from a distance. So disappointed (especially with that price!). This earring should either be plain gold, or the stones should be much larger so they can actually catch the light properly. Really disappointed, I had such high hopes for such a perfect rook shape earring and such a high price.”

With that particular oval rook hoop, it is a dainty piece of jewellery and in turn the crystals are quite small to keep it fine looking. We do offer small hoops with larger crystals that do catch the light easier and can be installed in a rook piercing. “I have 11 ear piercings & I am gradually replacing my studs & Huggies with ones from Laura Bond. The quality is second to none & I especially love the long threaded screws in the cartilage studs. I have only 2 more studs to buy from Laura Bond to finish my ears. I am sparkly & beautiful 🤩”

“I spoke to someone on instagram about an issue when trying to order and the response was so quick and helpful, lovely customer service and super quick delivery! Unfortunately I ordered the complete wrong size so was so sad when I opened my package but it was beautiful even if I can’t wear it haha packaging was lovely too!”
