End June I ordered curtain fabric to match Iona silver wallpaper. 2 rolls arrived, one with a white background and one with a cream background. It’s to go along one wall so that’s no good. The cream one also has lots of [what looks like] water stains on it. I keep contacting customer services to no avail. It feels like they have taken my £300 and disappeared! We can’t contact them any other way than by emailing their customer service department. Dreadful.

Two weeks ago Laura Ashley's online shop went wrong and made me pay for two orders instead of one via PayPal. Despite over ten emails to the company (and responses!), they have refused to refund the second order, and have even Photoshopped a fake screenshot of a supposed PayPal refund transaction and sent it to me. I've had to take this issue of fraud to the police. I'll update here when I have more news.

I have just received notification today that a piece of furniture I ordered on 26 January 2020 and paid for in full will not be delivered nor will I get my money back. This was due to delivered on 25 march but due to lockdown was not able to be delivered. The customer services told us it was in the warehouse ready and not to worry. In my option this is theft and I cannot believe how customers are being treated. Instead of having our money back we are told we have to submit a form to the administrators and we may receive a dividend but they do not know how much this will be or when we can receive it. This is a disgusting way to treat people.

Absolute criminals. Ordered furniture(worth £2000 )in February, was told they'll deliver in April. Didn't hear anything from them, i wrote a letter in May as i was worried with Covid i thought well delays are expected but atleast an update.I got a call from a gentleman saying "dont worry your furnitute is ready and waiting for delivery after lockdown. We will get it to you asap." Now June and i received a blunt email saying i won't be getting the furniture as it's "at manufacturer stage" and to apply for non secured debt as i paid in full. I offered to get the furniture that is on their website instead of what i ordered and was told no, you can't swap.yet tou have my money and have furniture i am ok to take but won't do that?bloody criminals and how they arr allowed to still operate i don't know. I feel cheated and disgusted by the way they have dealt with things. Its hard times for most companies but the way Laura Ashley handled it and treated customers is awful. They won't get a penny off me even if they recover. Such a shame that a great brand has treated loyal customers this way.I have spend thousands on Laura Ashley and now i absolutely hate the brand and will never ever get a thing from there.Customer care absolutely killed it

Awful company! Ordered 4 items for nearly £4,000 in February and because I was nervous about LA cancelled it from my Amex as that doesn’t offer s75 protection and re-ordered on my LA NewDay card. Even after they went into administration they assured me my goods would be delivered on the due day of 24th April. Approaching that day they became impossible to contact and all my emails bounced back. All I had was a recorded message saying they couldn’t do 2 man deliveries due to Covid. Liars and an excuse. Finally on 4th June I get a bland impersonal email saying I won’t be getting my goods and I’ve lost my £4K! Whilst I accept some companies fail, the way this has been handled is disgusting. I’ve spent tens and tens of thousands with this miserable outfit. Never again. They will never see another penny of my money again whoever ends up owning the brand and even if NewDay give me my money back.

DO NOT BUY FROM LAURA ASHLEY!!!!! I placed an order in late February just before the administrators were called in. I still have over £2,000 worth of orders outstanding and its now 3rd June. I have been told that they no longer have these items available and I need to contact the administrators to apply for a refund. We all know what that means... No refund! What I find really appalling is that they are still taking orders online so still robbing people of their money (at a time when people are really struggling). there is no customer service line to call but funnily enough there is still an order line so that they can rob more people of money when they call up to place an order that will never be honoured. After no reply from email I contacted Laura Ashley through the order line. The girl on the line was unsympathetic, rude and had no idea what the process was to enable me to make a claim. The least they could do is offer whatever stock they have left over to customers who have already lost thousands from orders not honoured. But no, they would rather rob a few more people before they finally stop trading. Just shocking! I can see I'm not the only one to have lost thousands.

Hello I too ordered goods four weeks ago and still not received them I called Laura Ashley and was told that my goods would be delivered but could not give me a date I decided to take matters into my own hands and called the administrators "PricewaterhouseCooper in London I did not get a call back I then decided to call Laura Ashley again last Friday and gave them an ultimatum Either deliver my goods by 8 May or I go to Tradings Standards I told Laura Ashley that they were trading illegally taking people's money and not delivering the goods Once again I got in touch with the administrators and still not got a call back But this afternoon I got notification of my delivery. It is supposed to be delivered Monday 11 May. I still hold my breath I suggest that everyone who is waiting for a delivery to give Laura Ashley a call and threaten them with Trading Standards Disgruntled customer

Beware when now ordering from the company as you can no longer return items or get a refund. This was not made clear when ordering leaving customers substantially out of pocket if goods are unsuitable.

Absolutely disgraceful that customers are now being informed that privilege vouchers and gift cards can no longer be used but encouraging you to continue to use your Laura Ashley card. No wonder you couldn’t survive as a company you are blatantly dishonest. To top it all you are blaming your demise on Covid-19. You were long gone and a total failure before anybody had even heard of Covid.

Ordered bedding on the 14th of April and two weeks later no dispatch letter. Tried to Call, but call centre closed due to COVID19, followed the instructions online and was told that a representative would be in touch straight away. No one got back to me. Went through this process again - still no reply. Got in touch with "Resolver" complaint.resolver.co.uk and they were MARVELLOUS!!! The very next day of handing my complaint over to then Laura Ashley dispatched!! If you want to get your purchases delivered, then go through Resolver!!

The quality of the products I ordered were as good as ever but, their customer service and delivery times are dreadful. Despite the problems of our current times to take nearly three weeks to arrive and only after chasing, I think is unacceptable. Others orders made to competitors x 3 arrived each time within 7 days max.

I ordered from Laura Ashley in late March and have received my order in full today. No damages. The products are beautiful. So just wanted to say thanks to them (as a long loyal customer) and to encourage people to still use them. If the company can be saved at all it would be great. Such a shame for the staff if it were to close down.

Tried to return an item of clothing, which when purchased, was policy to return within 28 days. Refused to accept and refund on said item. To add insult to injury later that day received a text message encouraging me to use my LA card but absolutely no mention of being unable to return goods if unsuitable. You are withholding this information and being dishonest.

Laura Ashley is the worst company I’ve ever come across. Delivered my furniture damaged. Won’t deliver replacements as promised or remove it. Won’t deliver rest of my order. Keep saying they will be in contact sometime next week. That never happens. 6 months now. I am beyond fed up. I’d demand a refund but I can’t as the 2 damaged items are in my home. I can’t even go elseswhere. I’m living out of cardboard boxes. Have been since October. It’s March!! They don’t respond to their contact form or email. Try phoning them. They stick you on hold and say they will respond. Nothing. Ever. They are thieves really. Happy to take £1000s off me. Now there’s the Coronavirus I doubt I will get my furniture anytime soon. I know it’s ready to be delivered but they dont!!!! Avoid at all costs. The stress this is causing me. Better quality furniture from John Lewis and they can deliver any day am or pm!!! They deliver damaged goods or withhold you goods for months.

I was trying to locate a jacket that was unavailable in my local Laura Ashley store. I had to ask my local store if the jacket was available in any other LA store. All other high street stores you are able to look online yourself to see availability and yes I am aware it is only a rough guide as stock moves fast!!! Having located the jacket in a store not local to me I requested that it be posted to me - supposedly one of the benefits of being Gold card customer! I was informed this was not possible as there was no way of the store taking payment. Absolutely ludicrous!. No wonder LA is struggling and you will not continue to function if this is how you operate. You are moving backwards not forward. Shame on you LA. I will not be shopping in your store again. MOVE WITH THE TIMES

I have paid £200 for the designer from LA to come out to us , we were promised mood boards and specs and pricelist 10 days later and still nothing , i have chased up the designer with calls and emails and nothing . When choosing an interior designer and paid them i expect a proffessional service and to at laest reply to messages , Laura Ashley design sevices are far from proffessional and for such a large company to behave in this way is simply inexcusable.
