“Very impressed with online lessons, the group was small and there were opportunities to chat. Carmen the teacher was very friendly and knowledgeable and supportive. Online is so convenient as it's quite tiring after work to study but I'm able to enjoy the class at home and not travel anywhere. I'm doing the second course and looking forward to it.”

“The lessons are very engaging, the teacher is very patient and makes sure that everyone participates in the lesson. In every lesson all the language competences are practiced. The students are lovely, the environment is comfortable where we feel that is safe to make mistakes (which approached as learning opportunities). Whilst there is no book and the lessons are not boring all the activities align with the learning objective of the lesson. The lessons are easy enough for students to follow and they also include certain level of difficulty that challenge students to keep prgressing in their learning. At the end of every activity the teacher formatively assesses students learning generally through questioning Overall I am very happy with the teacher's methodology, the learning environment and my progress.”

“Brilliant - I am learning German and Portuguese. I loved the face to face courses before pandemic but as you get higher in proficiency level it was difficult to find enough people locally to form a class so online class is a brilliant solution. I still feel like we have a little community within each class even though we are located all over UK.”

“I have been studying with Cactus for a few years and really enjoy the online classes. There are also in-person classes available which are also good. The courses are well structured and the teachers are excellent in my experience. I think it is reasonably priced for the amount of content.”

“I think that Pelin is an amazing Teacher. I took a level A1 Turkish Beginner 1 class with Cactus before and even though I liked the previous teacher, she just went too fast and I just could not keep up with the language so I quit before the course ended. However, Pelin is different. As an English teacher to speakers of other languages, I can tell you that Pelin really knows how to teach the Turkish language to absolute beginners. Thanks for having an amazing Turkish Teacher. Best wishes, Karyn Rudd”

“Claudia is a very supportive and friendly teacher. She encourages us well and helps us when we're struggling but pushes us too to improve and cracks the whip when needed. The classes are fun but full of new learning with easy to follow exercises which Claudia emails to us after the class and which I print off for revision. I find this a very useful, bitesized way of learning and revising. There's a really fair balance between improving our reading skills our speaking and listening skills too plus the added bonus of learning about Italian culture. I'm thoroughly enjoying the classes although I know they'll continue to get harder! Kate”
