Ordered a set of pans that arrived damaged. Arranged a collection and took them away only to send me another set of damaged pans. Waited over 30 mins to speak to someone only for them to not speak very good English and could not understand what I was communicating and she hung up on me. Getting a refund seems impossible. absolutely horrendous customer service.

Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered a set of pans as a Christmas present on one of the families wish list. It's and expensive set of pans and apparently "in stock". Turns out the stock was in France and now unlikely to receive them before Christmas and almost certainly unlikely to be able to source from anywhere else before Christmas. First and last time I'd use them.

I ordered almost a month ago and haven't received my order yet. I've been trying to get an update on my order status for 10 days and they simply never answer my emails. Their customer service is the worst I have ever received. STAY AWAY and don't waste your money and time.

The worst customer experience of my life! I'm waiting for a bed for 2 and half months. The order has been delayed 2 times and no one told me. Finally, the bed arrives and now it's 2 weeks I'm trying to make an appointment with the delivery company, that apparently is calling me but I don't have any missed calls. So I called customer care, I talked with 3 different companies (I don't know why honestly), and apparently, there is no way to make an appointment via email. So who knows if I will ever receive my bed! They are driving me crazy and normally I'm a very gentle person. A nightmare!

Purchased single bedding sheets, pillowcases and duvet cover in the sale. Thinnest cotton I have ever purchased. Poor quality.

This is an appalling company, don't touch these guys with a barge pole! They lied about having stock on their website, when I went ahead and paid for the item, I got an email stating it wasn't in stock and had to wait two months. Not a good start, it gets worse. The product then developed a fault, I sent it back to the manufacture as it was still under warranty. They stated that it couldn't be fixed and that I would be due a full refund from La Redoute… After trying to phone the company to speak to someone about this, they refuse to answer the phone. I emailed customer service, who replied after about two weeks with some generic reply. They then dragged their heels about getting the money refunded. Two months later I still haven’t received a refund, one of their “customer service” team even lied to me saying the refund had been processed, which it hadn’t. After countless emails to them which they refuse to reply to. Emails where I’ve asked someone to call me so I can find out what’s going on, which they don’t. I’m now stuck without the monitor I bought, which wasn’t cheap, and haven’t received a refund for either. Please stay away from this company for your own sanity and blood pressure levels. They are by FAR the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. The utter contempt they show their customers by the complete lack of communication, lies and inability to follow trading laws is staggering. You’ve been warned.

Ordered pajamas on the 17th November for a an upcoming hospital stay, expecting that I would receive the order in about a week, hospital stay has been and gone and still no sign of my order. On the 24th received an email from them that I could expect the order to be handed over to the carrier in the next 4-5 working days! In this age of next day delivery by many online retailers taking 10 days to pick and dispatch an order is appalling! Calling the customer service line is a waste of time your left waiting for an eternity.

I bought a bed cover from this website. The problem was with transparency of the payment. When I bought the item, the payment was 70 euro + 29 euro for shipment and handling. That's it. There was no mentioning that I will need to pay extra handling and shipping to DHL of 24 euro (not including VAT, which is okay). Therefor, the description in their website was misleading and not fully transparent as to the actual price I needed to pay for receiving the item. I talked to a representative and sent emails, but they only dismissed me and replied that I need to discuss with DHL. I had to pay the extra shipping and handling. Please bear in mind when you but, that you will probably need to pay more than it is said!

Never using again - customer service on phone very poor also contacted via messenger and fobbed off. Love their clothing but to get a refund out of them is a massive load of hassle. Get it right La Redoute - you might just get more return customers

I now remember why I said I'd never use them again. I placed an order in August but then contracted Covid and was unable to collect it. I contacted La Redoute and they said not to worry it would be returned to them. No charge. . Despite the fact it clearly states on my statement ite been returned , I'm still being sent demanding letters for arrears. . I've sent over 15 emails, spent over an hour trying to get through on the phone. Absolute nightmare

returned an item no refund , returned via the post office so you will have received it , but alas I could not find the post office receipt as quite some time ago, ordered 3 items returned only one , first time using your site , last time poor customer ser vice

AWFUL Company, they have THE WORST Interest rates and the customer service is the worst ive come across for a long time. Dont bother making a complaint either as the complaints department is rude. Ive had to go to the FCA!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

made an order with this company. I didn't receive any order confirmation. My payment has been taken from my account. I tried emailing laradoute but no one has emailed back. It's so stressful trying to get through this company. So frustrating too.

Excellent for 6, NOT for 8 If you are about to buy this dining table [6/8 Seater Oval Dining Table, Blutante], consider this: We love the oval shape, but are frustrated by the very tight space between the table legs. Unless you are small and have narrow chairs, you will find yourself in a squeeze. We have now reassembled the table legs "one position over" so each table leg is now only attached with only two screws instead of four. However, as long as you are careful, the weight of the table will keep everything in place. This provides an additional 9 cm space per table leg, almost 20 cm of additional space for the two people (on each side), seated much more comfortably, also offering a comfortable space at the end of the table for 2 additional guests. As we've validated this in daily use, I have drilled and inserted additional threaded screws* to make the change permanent, but you can easily skip this last step. Ideally, the vendor should substantiate its 6/8 positioning by installing those extra threads for all new tables. *) To fix it yourself, search for this online: Wood Furniture Hex Socket Nut Inserts (M6 * 17mm)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Very disappointing service and experience from start to finish. The order arrived incomplete with a 2 weeks delay. The customer service was non-existent throughout this process. Was forced to chase myself for any updates and progress, while having to waste time on making numerous phone calls to eventually speak to a bunch of unprofessional liars, non of whom followed up on their word and assurances. In fact still waiting for an official apology and compensation for the inconvenience!

This French company does not deserve to do any business in the US because of their terrible customer service. Here, most of the retailers are willing to satisfy customers to receive their continued business. When a problem occurs, US companies do refund or replace defective items for their customers no charge ie: Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc. Dealing with La Redoute USA is a truly different and terrible experience ….. I placed two orders within a few days totaling over $350 …. received my items two weeks later and found that a pair of "made in France" shoes did not fit my 37 French size. Having been born in France and lived there for several decades I know my French foot size and have purchased many pairs of shoes over the years! The espadrilles I received are not a real 37 French size. They are a 36 size short and narrow. When I ordered, I read their policy and know they do not accept exchanges from the USA (Question is: why do they try to do business here?) Customers are supposed to send back items in France or UK and pay for the shipping. I would accept their policy if I did order a wrong size or color, but I did not. Those espadrilles do not fit a 37 french size foot! Exchanges by email with a certain Melissa, supposedly being a customer service representative, were terrible. No help was given at all and she was certainly rude. She did not seem to care that I ordered over $350 of items within a week as a new customer! She prefers loosing my business forever over a pair of shoes that cost $29 …. This arrogant person asked me to take photos of my feet + shoes next to + a stick showing the size!!!! I do not know of any US company that would make this ridiculous request thereby loosing customers …. La Redoute does!!! I would add that except for the summer fabric shoes made is France: the tablecloth + napkins, bra, panty, shirt and sweater were all made in China (designed in France!). Far from being top quality …. after a few washings, they will fade and shrink. Be aware of this company that does not care about its' customers at all!
