Rude obnoxious little man of a land lord. Just turned up to the pub after a 10k walk for local charity, while in the queue someone rudely barged into my back and shoved past me. I stopped the person when I saw them coming back past me I said "say excuse me next time rather than barging me" and he immediately barred me. Rude little tiny man.

I found it a warm and welcoming place. We had an afternoon tea & the scones left me wanting more."Light and fluffy with clotted cream & jam & just the right zing from strawberries, well worth the money. Whoever made the scones made them from the heart. My thanks to everyone at the King's Arms. You gave both me and my 88 year old mum a wonderful experience "Home to Home" she said. You won't be disappointed if you call in and try them.

Time wasted at the bar waiting for drinks at a Oxbridge locals only pub meaning the old school tie old boy reference rude bar staff and off hand kitchen staff...

Nice atmosphere but the food was awful! I had pie and mash which was so dry needed to order extra gravy which didn’t help much, it became a chore to eat. My friend had fish fillet sandwich which was so full of bones it was impossible to eat. When we told the gentleman that it was inedible it did kind of ask my friend if she wanted a refund but she is way too polite and said don’t worry because she didn’t want to cause a fuss but I think he should have insisted really because it’s a bloody expensive sandwich in the first place at £9.50 (no chips included). Very expensive food at not very good quality. Shame really as last time I went years ago it was the best
