Currently, my opinion of Just Value Doors is quite poor. They have allowed me to purchase a door through their website but only now have they told me that they are unable to make the door I would like in the size I have asked for. The door type I have asked for and the size are options on their website, I haven't asked for anything unique. It's quite frustrating as if I knew I couldn't purchase my order I may have looked elsewhere.

Hi Benjamin, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I've had a look into your order this morning and can see that we have contacted you to advise that unfortunately the panel in the lower half you selected is regrettably unable to be supplied to suit the doors height. The sizes you provide at the time of ordering are the overall sizes and we can manufacture the door to your desired dimensions. The issue is only with the panel design for the lower half of the door and I can see that we have given you options for an alternative panel design. I know you are currently discussing these options with our order processing team, so please do get back in touch with them if you have any questions or concerns. I of course apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused, we are looking at our website to make sure the panel designs offered and the sizes they are available in are up to date and accurate. Please ask me to write a review AFTER I have received my goods and had a chance to review them! 2 days after the ORDER is frankly ridiculous. The order is not due to arrive for another week, minimum At the moment I'm not at all likely to recommend you as you have sent me communications at precisely the WRONG time

I ordered stable door for my shepherds hut holiday let. When the joiner was fitting it he voiced concerns over how flimsy it was. As soon as we had some bad weather of rain and wind together, it started leaking, water getting in all over. The joiner came back and was shocked at how many places the water could get in. He adjusted the door but to no effect, it is still leaking which is not looking good on my customers reviews of my hut.

Orders a non stock sized door online , got a phone call from Jack to confirm. Nothing seemed an issue , so signed off the form and all ordered. Very efficient Unfortunately still waiting for the bottom panel

Poor service. Bought two large French doors, 3 months apart. They changed suppliers between my orders and did not inform me. even though I requestedI the same spec and feature of doors but they came with 6 visual differences. The doors are on the same side of the house and do not match. Complained to the company and they accepted no responsibility and quoted their T&Cs and that they have the right to change suppliers. Reasonable product(s) but terrible customer service. I would not use tis company again.

Hi Nigel, I'm very sorry to hear of your disappointment. After review it was found that nothing had been reported until we made a courtesy call to yourself in May and you had already fitted both doors. The second door being delivered in March. You advised you did not want to remove the doors and we offered substantial discount on future quotes in the way of money off vouchers as a gesture. Unfortunately you have rejected this offer. It is easy to order and pay on the website but then it goes downhill. I didn't get an email with a provisional date for 2 weeks. Delivery was 7 weeks and I had to send many emails to get a delivery date. Even then I got a provisional delivery date and the date arrived with no update. The door arrived, the driver was friendly and helpful. But I paid to have a cat flap fitted and the hole for the cat flap was not done. Up to delivery just value doors was quick at replying to emails. But now the door is received and I am awaiting the correct glass communication has died and replies not forthcoming. Although a lot of the issues are with the supplier at the end of the day the contract and payment are with just value doors so the buck ends with them. It is up to them to ensure they have full efficient communication with their supplier and supplier's courier to fully update their customers. Also the ten year warranty should be automatically be sent to customers not sent upon a review being written. And no one should write their review until the full service has been satisfactorily completed and any issues resolved. Therefore for overall service its a 2/5.

Well I’ve had a bit of trouble, the fixing kits they sent did not match what was sold to me, then the email chain to sort this problem out was shocking, 8 weeks from buying 2 windows and a patio door till my delivery date just hope it don’t get delayed anymore, maybe it’s just COVID that’s effecting them....I don’t know definitely not my best experience and as for keeping in touch... they don’t.

Product was good quality but service was very poor, had to keep chasing for updates and given conflicting stories re the reason for the delay in delivery, advertised 2 week delivery ended up as 10 weeks. Tried to escalate to the company owner but was refused and he ignored my emails. Price was high but their range was good.

Great service from Darren, George, Jack and Charly - basically everyone in the JVD Service team who fielded my joyous weekly emails. Unfortunately, you were severely let down by Alufold, your supplier, who turned this order into a three month nightmare. As such, whilst I'd give yourselves personally a 5, the whole experience to get a complete, fully built door as ordered sadly fell way short. Given it was JVD I transacted with, this means I cannot give a good review. Good luck, keep the high level of service and maybe find a new supplier!

you said we would have it it 2wks it took 2 month. even in the present circumstances. this is very poor. i would not use this company again.

Quick delivery but only sent one man to deliver a very heavy door. Door was covered in silicon which they expected me to remove.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear there was silicone on the door. Silicone is used to seal the glazing cassette into the door, and unfortunately it seems some excess was left visible. As mentioned, domestic glass cleaner will do the trick in cleaning the whole door post install. Regards delivery, again apologies for any inconvenience, however we do operate a one-man delivery, and therefore require assistance unloading. Kind Regards Just Value Doors

Door delivered as per details however find that stable door ordered but panelsl had to be cut to size on site and considering price charged totally unacceptable even offered to be given dimensions !who can't use a tape?plus no mention of this detail in description

Expensive for a fire certification. Communication was difficult. Information was difficult to obtain. Had to make many phone calls.

Was quick to come, but not what was advertised came in 3 parts when it was advertised as one frame no fixings came with it ! If we would have known it came in 3 parts and that we needed fixings would have ordered some fixings... way to expensive for what we got , wont use them again.

The door was damaged when it arrived (screws snapped off in on the bottom plate), no spacers were provided and door dimensions were written in black marker pen on the bottom panel and have now stained the door. Very dissapointing.

Website ordering was clear and easy. Product is disappointing - feels very plasticky. No proper lock connecting bottom and top halves of stable door, just a bolt you screw on yourself. Delivery problems - sill went missing and new one had to be supplied causing a week's delay. Glazing bars arrived damaged and currently unresolved.

Slow communication, have a few issues with the door supplied, after chatting with staff was told there is nothing they can do. Won’t be using again!

Dear Robert, I'm sorry to hear you were not completely satisfied. Unfortunately we are not able to accept damage claims after the door has been installed. However as discussed we have sent you a touch-up pen free of charge for you to cover the scratch. Also some more guidance on how to fit the door restrictor. The door or window was probably fine. The hassle with the guarantee process is terrible. Why do I need to do this? Why are the order details not in the mail requesting the review? Are my consumer rights being violated? The main reason for ordering stuff like this online is because it is low maintenance and often hassle free. Having to jump through hoops to obtain the customers guarantee is a pain in the behind made worse by 'just values' idea that we are prescient and will instantly know which order is being talked about! I believe this is the reason i stopped using them a couple of years ago.. but I forgot.
