Beware who makes your doors. I placed an order and it was not made by just value doors but by a subcontractor and if i had known that I would not have placed the order. I’ve now had 3 delivery dates and yes a door and frame was delivered however with no glass and no panel so totally useless and missing end caps to the door drip moulding. No call before delivery as stated on their info and didn’t even call me back when they said the would. I’m now on my 4th delivery date for the glass and panel but have absolutely no faith they will turn up when they say. Personally I won’t be using this company again, over 40yrs working in the building trade this is the worse service I’ve ever experienced with a manufacturer

Just Value Doors ask you to review them by offering you £12 cash back if you do so - all before you receive your order. If you look at all the 5 star reviews you'll see that they are from people saying 'the order process was great, can't wait to receive them!'. Yes, the ordering process was great and the staff were helpful. I placed an order in plenty of time for their recommended timelines and emailed to check if I had enough time etc. There was then a slight adjustment of timings at the start due to Flush UPVC windows taking a bit longer than they originally thought but I was still within time and was told that yes everything should be fine and the suggested delivery date would only change if a delivery van broke down etc. Then a few days before delivery I was told that the windows were delayed by a month. When I complained and said that I had builders renovating my bathroom in a few days I was given the disclaimer of 'we do say you shouldn't plan your builders around us, no guarantees were given' etc. I was told that it was a human error due to a miscalculation of timings about the type of window I had ordered, despite there already having been adjustments made for this. When I finally had the windows and managed to get the builders back, they noticed that the windowsills I'd been sent were too short. I was told by Just Value Doors that had I notified them at the time of delivery they would have been able to fix this for me - unfortunately I was not about to risk booking builders again until I had the windows in hand so this was not possible. We had to live with boarded up windows through winter, pay for the scaffolding to remain in place for another month and then use our old windowsills. After complaining I was given a discount that amounted to less than 2% of the purchase price. I was originally impressed with all the 5 star reviews that Just Value Doors have but if you actually read the reviews of people who have received their order you'll see a lot of stories like mine!

You were unfortunately sent a date in error, this was never meant to be sent to you and as you say, this was a human error. This was of course entirely regrettable and we did apologise at the time, however, this was a one-off incident. For this, we did process a refund for you. Very disappointed with the after sales service, no trims initially supplied with French Door and windows, only to be told they are unable to supply the trims retrospectively, go and buy them from a Builders Merchant. Sales was excellent with no issues.

Avoid at any cost. I lost £3000 because they supplied a wrong door and when I approached them they put the responsibility on me. They advised me on the phone what I needed to order and I did. It then turned out to be the wrong door. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Cowboys

Hi Reza,  Your review is disappointing to read but also entirely incorrect.  You created a quote on our website and subsequently spoke with our sales team who amended the sizes as per your instruction, but no amendments were made to the opening direction of the doors, which is the reason for your complaint. You were then sent an order sign off and this is sent to all customers before manufacturing begins and is a final chance for customers to check over the full specification and then either sign off to begin production or make amendments. You made no amendments and signed this order off.  You were supplied with the order in full and exactly as per your specification requested on the order.  After reviewing the photos you sent in, we have also advised you that you have installed the door in question in reverse, with the internal part of the door currently facing outside. We would strongly recommend installing this correctly.  Your situation is regrettable but is not the fault of Just Value Doors and we strongly dismiss the claim that we are 'cowboys', we have been professional and courteous to you throughout. Please ask me to write a review AFTER I have received my goods and had a chance to review them! 2 days after the ORDER is frankly ridiculous. The order is not due to arrive for another week, minimum At the moment I'm not at all likely to recommend you as you have sent me communications at precisely the WRONG time

Grinding hinges on one of the windows. They made up some new sash's slightly smaller to hopefully fix the issue. However, they are refusing to arrange the fitting of the new parts. Meaning I will have to fix their mistake at my own expense.

Ordered 2 doors, both arrived with incorrect spec. Customer Service were no help whatsoever. We tried to establish with them how the error occurred as we discussed the order details with them prior to placing online. When we refused the doors and informed them, we asked if the calls were recorded so that we could go back and check who might be at fault. They said they would, however when I followed up I was told they don't actually record the calls. I asked if it was a mistake when customer service told me that they record calls, and could there also have been a mistake/miscommunication when we spoke prior to ordering. The response was no mistake by them. Since they would take no responsibility or help correcting the order I asked for a quote to fix the 2 doors. I was quoted £150 less than the original order of over £2k. So I've told them that I will keep the original doors. I will now order new doors from another supplier. One other thing. One of the doors was missing a panel that was meant to be delivered by a courier the same day as the main door order. This never turned up. I was told someone called Janet took delivery. We live at the top of a small village, no Janet here. Overall experience, shocking.

Dear Martin, We truly sympathise with your situation and understand mistakes do unfortunately sometimes happen (on both sides) and when we make mistakes, we always put them right and, feel this is what retains customer trust. We have offered you a discount on remaking the doors, however do understand the cost to remake is still significant. Unfortuanlly due to the situation, as a result of your actions, we can't further subsidise the costs for you I'm afraid. Regards your missing panel. So POSH and Perfect. Ordered the New Aluminium Hybrid Door Vico in Anthracite Grey. Extremely Happy with the well secure packaged door on arrival . Definitely got that WOW factor and so easy to place the order . Well done to the team at this company especially Jack who offered me a 5% discount on placing the order which covered the delivery charge.

JUST VALUE DOORS Rude and argumentative owner, poor service and even worse complaints management. Avoid like the plague. With Just Value Doors you are guilty until proven innocent.   Wrong drawings and technical information on website, lack of responses from the team (and certainly no urgency). They got my order wrong, which I had to prove to them as they couldn’t understand it was wrong. Weeks of back and forth ensued when they finally admitted fault after a change in their manufacturer. It’s not up to customer to tell them that the pictures did not match the technical drawings on the website, yet I spent hours/days/weeks trying to explain to them. Initially they refused to give a refund but finally we’d agreed a discount and we could move on.   They said the refund would be in our account in a couple of working days. Weeks then passed of me contacting to ask where the money was and the owner said that he had now decided to withhold the refund until we’d signed a satisfactory agreement. But this was weeks down the line with no communication.   I’ve never experienced anything like this company before….   After all this, the windows arrived and 7 out of 11 were damaged/scratched due to them being packaged so poorly. We then sent CCTV footage & time-stamped pictures of them being unloaded to show that we did not damage them, and we were treated as guilty until proven innocent. Clearly no evidence was enough even though the time stamped pictures were before the driver left. The owner accused us of running a blade down the windows, even though we’d sent sufficient evidence. Even the delivery driver acknowledged the windows were damaged, which JVD didn’t believe either. JVD said they would not replace the windows, only the glass.   Another two weeks had passed with us disputing, they then said they would replace the glass & repair the scratches but would now be a further 8+ week wait (to try and put us off) and said that they’d withhold the refund throughout this process. After months of nothing but stress and time lost, not to mention the delays in our build, we decided that we’d had enough. Still no refund processed even though it had been promised. JVD settled on a further £157 discount which is pathetic for the level of damage/scratches. They couldn’t understand the previous discount was placed on the windows being the wrong model/specification and carried the issue forward so that no matter what condition they turned up in, there would be no more help or understanding.   I could not trust this company any less. They are immoral and rude and the stress they’ve put on my family is immeasurable. Even down to the actual quality of the windows, with beading not aligned, drip vents hanging off, loose handles, windows catching on screws when opening. Overall – shocking. They even sent a touch up paint in the wrong colour, after everything.   Please learn one thing from our experience and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. What I experienced was nothing to do with COVID-19. I’d be more than happy to expand on the full picture, if needed.

Dear Daniel, We are sorry and surprised to see you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, as previously you suggested otherwise. To summarize - We admit the profile specification initially provided to you was out of date, resulting in the newer profile you received being slightly different. However the overall style, design, colour and appearance was correct and as ordered, with the only minor difference being an arguably unnoticeable tweaked improvement in profile shape. You negotiated this fact daily and obsessively over a matter of weeks, finally resulting in a compensation amount of £3,248.52 (37% of order value) being agreed for you to accept this minor change. Then on receipt of delivery, you reported that over half of the windows had arrived damaged and suggested further compensation. We viewed the CCTV footage you provided which in fact showed a female with scissors in hand unpackaging. We are not suggesting you intentionally caused any damage however it would be extremely unlikely that any frames would have left the factory in this condition, due to quality control, packaging and a dedicated delivery vehicle. As a side note, we did offer to collect and rework all the frames, however due to COVID-19 this was estimated to take upto 8 weeks, to which you declined. We obviously needed to draw the line on compensation, however we offered to increase the amount to £3,400.00 to take into account the reported damage and bring your complaint to an end, to which you and your brother agreed. Lastly, regarding some issues you mentioned, vents, handles and the like. Damaged screws in the handle pack, resulting in me having to drive from Tunbridge Wells tony our Heathfield depot. (1.5hrs off site) On completion of job I found door number and cill end caps missing so will have to return to clients house to fit. (Previous door supplier by you required glazier to attend to rectify water leaking issues. . . . ) You are very helpful when issues arise but I fear your quality control is not upto speed.
