My one, main negative comment is that you prefer to conduct business over the phone. I had difficulty with regional accents and my hearing is not great anyway. It is also too easy to forget details such as medical history when being asked a lot of questions over the phone. Since the questions are obviously scripted and read, why not provide the option of completing them online or via email?

Dear Mr Trehane, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and we appreciate your feedback. Quotations can be completed online via our website www.justtravelcover.com. However, the website does prompt you to call if you do answer questions 4-6 of our medical declaration as Yes. These questions relate to psychiatric conditions, further investigations/treatment and/or terminal illnesses. As we are a broker, we have a number of insurers on our panel, and they have different terms surrounding these conditions which we need to discuss with you. You do have a 14-day cooling off period from the day you receive your documents to check everything is correct and we can make amendments if necessary. Great to have been given a 10% discount on the renewal date. Overall the new premium has increased by more than this so where is the benefit of this discount ?

I have investigated this for you and can see due to your wife's birthday this year, she now falls into the next age category which can increase the premium. As well as other factors such as the insurance companies' rates fluctuating. I was disappointed to find the cost my usual annual policy had increased from just over £80 to over £300. Apparently this is partly because I am waiting to have a tooth out- I lost a filling and it is not refillable! Hopefully you can give me a better deal once the tooth is out!

Cover is adequate for our needs however the costs of this cover is expensive in the extreme. No allowance is made for health conditions which categories everyone under the same umbrella, a person with health conditions should be able to provide a doctors certificate stating how severe the state of heath, weight and hight. It cannot be right that a person who is 5'9 and 11 stone be treated the same as someone who is the same hight and 20 stone !!!!

After being staggered by the increase in my policy, Just Travel Cover managed to find a policy less expensive (still a hefty increase).

In relation to the premium, the rates/prices we provide are set by the insurers themselves and can vary depending on a number of factors including the destination you are visiting (the cost of the medical treatment in that country), your age and any pre-existing conditions you may have. I have just cancelled a policy I took out yesterday as my partner found the same cover for a lot less. However your service was very efficient and staff polite. I rang yesterday and a lady said someone would ring me back; Fiona rang almost immediate but unfortunately I missed her call but she left a message, but you were closed at 5.30 when I called back. I rang this morning expecting a long wait but in a few minutes I spoke to Kay who politely and efficiently cancelled my policy by asking a few pertinent questions. I am more than satisfied, I just wish your prices had been more competitive especially as I have an NHS discount code. Thank you.

Getting far too expensive, & the discount is just a racket. As a returning customer I should automatically get the maximum discount, I felt I had almost to beg for it, otherwise I would have been charged full price.

I have used this company many times for travel insurance, with great ease in the past. The previous two times haven't been easy to do, ìt didn't recognise my saved details for some glitch or other

Only did the weekly cover this time instead of annual as your prices have really gone up by nearly a third ? Rather a lot will look again nx year
