Can't say enough good things about my new Juicy bike. I absolutely love it and call it my magic carpet! I just feel like I'm gliding effortlessly along. It's comfy, powerful, stylish and well worth the long wait for it!

Basically l was sold a bike that was way to big and heavy for my height n size l really struggle to get on it it’s heavy and l so wish l would of been advised about the bar in the middle it’s given me quite a lot of bruises 😩l haven’t used it much because of the weight shame really because it’s a lovely looking bike l bought it in a shop Buxton area

Great service from day 1. Of course there have been delays with the pandemic effecting all industries. But the team at Juicy kept me up to date with my order. Finally received my bike a week ago. Delivery was super quick and efficient. Bike was almost ready to go with just a handlebar, seat adjustment and peddles to attach. Let me start by telling you I am an unfit, overweight middle aged lady. The bike - The Roller is bigger than I expected - my little legs found it a challenge, but the team helped me straight away with an alternative seat bar to allow it to drop a little further. The bike is heavy - no denying, so moving and pushing is hard work (though the battery can help with pushing) - find somewhere easy and secure to store it, That said, oh my, when you are riding it, it's a dream. The power is phenomenal - I live in a very hilly area of Yorkshire and that has always been my barrier to cycling, but no more! - every hill so far has been manageable - I mean really manageable! It is really easy to use, turn the help up or down as you need it. I purchased the biggest battery, and it lasts for ages, no worries about it flattening whilst out. I have already used it to go shopping (yes I bought a cute basket) and today commuted to work for the first time ever) - I bought a pannier too for my laptop. If you have ever wished you could cycle but thought it too hard, try an e-bike and maybe you might be like me and be converted! - buy a good helmet, buy a good lock and get it insured just in case, and I might see you on the Greenway soon!

This bike has literally saved my life! I commute to work every day and I was struggling as I have osteoarthritis and awaiting a complete hip replacement. Buying an electric bike was an idea implanted by a work colleague but I dismissed it as "cheating" and continued to struggle. Just before Christmas, I visited Buxton for a day sightseeing and shopping with my family and came across Juicy bikes in one of the shops there. The style and quality of the bike caught my eye and I began to investigate. My hip was getting worse and I needed my commute to be achievable. I went along to the shop in Newtown for a trial ride and it was like being a kid again...I found it so much fun. I was given lots of time to try out the different styles of bikes and given lots of advice and they were very friendly. As I am short in stature, I ended up with the Poco and with it being a step through, I no longer had to lift my leg over in order to mount the bike. It has taken me a while to adjust to the style of the bike and the new way of cycling as I am used to riding a hybrid with straight handle bars. It required several journeys before finding the right height for the handle bars to feel comfortable and also to adjust to the style of the seat as I was used to a slimmer design. It is also getting noticed as I cycle through the city centre and I have locked it up outside a coffee shop...sitting next to the window so I could keep an eye out...I could see it promoted a great deal of interest in passers by who were admiring it. Colleagues at work have also been intrigued...I am spreading the word The bike has just had it's 6 week check; the brakes were adjusted, tyres pumped, chain oiled and given a clean... and it looks brand new again! I now have an extremely comfortable ride with struggling up hills and against the wind a thing of the past. . So when I say it saved my life...I can continue to commute by cycle but not have to suffer for it...but sit back and enjoy the ride! So thank you Juicy bikes and keep up the good work!

I had my first proper bike ride yesterday,about 15 km on flat terra. Bike was comfortable and effortless. However when we returned to my daughter’s house her partner was there, who is a real bike expert. He noticed that a bolt was missing . He then noticed that another part was wrongly connected. That resulted in the back wheel not being safely fitted. He did a complete overhaul, fastened all the fittings and gave it a total check. He said it was just as well I rode the bike cautiously and at moderate speed. I am not sorry I bought this particular bike but am extremely disappointed in the bad workmanship. I could have ended up with a serious accident.

The service received from Juicy Bikes has been excellent. However either we have had bad luck or there is a problem with the torque detection unit on the Juicy Roller. The first bike had to be rejected and the replacement seems to have developed the same fault after one year. This should not be a problem with other marks, but I would caution customers about the possible unreliability of the Roller when fitted with this older unit.

I ordered a Juicy Roller E-bike half way through lockdown (21 April) as I thought it would give me freedom on London roads without using my car. Obviously because of huge number of orders it didn't arrive until early July... and there was little information available as to when the bike would actually arrive. Its what I would call a sit-up-and-beg bike. It looks great and attracts admiring glances but unfortunately I find the bike really heavy and cumbersome to use (although it does wizz along once on the road). I think it weighs 19 kilos. Maybe it will be easier with more practice. It is a struggle to set off at traffic lights without wobbling and I am terrified of falling sideways into the traffic behind me. My son helped me to adjust the height of handlebars and seat to suit me better ( I am 5 foot 7 inches) and has tried to advise me how to set the gears and the starting speed to try to eliminate wobbling from a standing start. The angle of the handlebars has irritated the arthritis in my left wrist (I have to angle my hand awkwardly to use the speed controls) and I find the ride really hard - not sure how I can fix that. I was also astounded to find I had to pay a hefty premium to insure the bike plus the cost of an approved Gold Seal bike chain plus the cost of an obligatory tracking system in order to get insurance.... I have had good and cheerful support from Juicy by email for a couple of technical queries but wish I had really researched more before committing to buying this particular bike. I rather fear it will spend far more time in the bike pod rather than on the road.

Really annoyed with this bike. Waited nearly 4 months to be able to buy one. I got a bike March 2022 and it has a squeak from the back wheel which has to be sprayed with PTFE dry lubricant every 20 miles ie one good trip or the noise would drive you crazy. One selling feature is the puncture resistant tyres. What a joke, onto 3rd tube, 2 for the back wheel and now one on the front wheel. Doing basic road cycling and covering the same routes for years and never once have I had a puncture on a regular bike. The company has agreed for the work to be done under guarantee, at their nearest agent. But at a 100 mile return journey (2 journeys so far) and needing some sort of repair every other week who can keep up with this. So very disappointed I wish, at nearly £1800, that I had spent my money elsewhere. Love the riding experience, its just it needs so much effort to keep it on the road.

Hi Ann, Sorry to hear you've had so many punctures. The tyres are specific e-bike tyres to deal with the extra weight and are puncture-resistant, they keep most nasty sharp edges out. Unfortunately, not in your case. As discussed via email, we will happily send you a replacement tyre to remove any possible doubt about the current tyre. As for the squeak at the rear wheel in your review. It is not an issue I have ever seen before with any of our bikes. Obviously, lubricating it every few miles is not a permanent fix, and we will be looking to send a mechanic out to you to resolve any issue you have in person fully. We want all of our customers to have the best experience with our bikes, and if there are any issues at all, we will always look to rectify them as soon as possible, free of charge, which is what we hope to do in your situation. I bought the new Juicy/Neomouv Malva a few weeks ago and my onboard computer tells me I’ve now racked up 100 miles so I thought I’d provide a review. I’ve been riding a Classic Click for a few years and while I was happy with it I wanted something lighter so I could ride with less assistance and get a bit more exercise. I went to the Ebike show in London and test rode a handful of bikes from big names… none of them were anywhere near as much fun to ride than my CC. I went to my local bike shop who stock the Juicy range and they had Malva in stock. I took her for a quick spin, fell in love immediately and rode her home the same day. Light, responsive, super quiet and stylish. I do get some very perplexed looks from Lycra clad dudes when I whizz past them on the hills… the battery is hidden in the frame and it looks like a ‘normal’ Dutch style bike. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Thank you for your incredible account of your first few weeks with your Malva. As one of only a handful of customers who received the first delivery of Malva, it is great to hear the bike is performing as we had hoped. Keep up the excellent work, and keep embarrassing those Roadies!
I got the older Compact model in the summer of 2020 - I was planning to buy the Compact Plus but got too impatient as there was a waiting list, so plumped for the older model with the biggest battery instead when it came into stock. I bought using the Cycle Scheme. The service has been brilliant from the outset, and I plumped for Juicy as they have links with stockists in Europe, where I hope to live one day, and also because I got the impression from my research that they were an honest and no nonsense company. The other company I was considering buying from was based in London where I live but the bike I was looking at shot up in price by about £500 overnight, and was also heavier than Juicy's model and with less character. I've had my bike for about 9 months and have enjoyed it hugely. It's currently being serviced and the people servicing it found that the pedals had been cross-threaded. This may well have been my own fault setting up the bike (practically the only thing that needed doing when it arrived) but Juicy have provided replacement parts (pedals and cranks) at no extra cost. Last summer I also received some great advice around cleaning the battery so that the connection isn't interrupted. I have found Juicy to be really professional and prompt and human and would thoroughly recommend them. Lovely people and lovely bikes.

This Open Ticket Juicy bike has truly brought back the joy of cycling. It may be 30% less exercise than a non-e bike, but it's almost 100% more cycling than I would be getting without it. I got the bike just before lockdown, when empty lanes added to the pleasure. I find I am in the top gear, bottom motor level most of the time, whizzing along, and when I need the extra umph for the hills, the bike delivers. Plenty of hills in Devon. Fantastically satisfied with the bike, and I hope it will be in stock again soon so my husband can get one to keep up with me. Thank you, Juicy Bikes.

I have had my Compact Plus now for just a year and it has revolutionised my enjoyment in cycling. Delivery was delayed, most unfortunately due to a fire at the factory , but I was kept well informed and offered a refund should I have chosen it. It is well made for a fair price and "does what it says on the tin". Hills are no problem at all! Now aged 87 I had found riding an ordinary bike any distance something of a challenge, but now ride largely off road up to 20 miles without a problem on the tracks in the New Forest near my home. The Compact Plus is one of the lightest well equipped folding ebikes, but if you intend travelling with it in the boot of your car, make sure before you buy that you are happy to lift it. I thoroughly recommend this bike and the customer service that I have experienced has been excellent.

Unimpressive and disappointed. Decided to buy locally rather than through a large chain. Went to the New Mills show room, which had Covid posters up and 'closed' posters, but nothing to imply that it was closed down (website still stating 'Our main branches in Derbyshire at Ashbourne and New Mills are now open for collections' on the home page). Phoned and was told about Cycles Recon in Marple. Chap there was very helpful and pleasant, but site very limited in terms of a 'showroom', and appears to be more of a place for servicing, not least as is tucked away in the back of an old mill. Did buy a bike though as was made a very good offer. Have phoned JuicyBike to ask for instructions (would like to know how best to use the battery, etc), and still waiting for the email link. Was assured that the battery is upgraded, but do not know how to be able to confirm this. Almost impossible to speak to a person at JuicyBike; have only managed once so far. Love the bike, but still not convinced that I have bought the right one for the terrain around here

I bought my Juicy Classic Click a month ago and having ridden it at least 5 times a week since I feel ready to give my review. In short, it's a dream - an absolute game-changer. My daily commute is a approximately a 6 mile round trip and in the B.C times I usually caught a bus... I was wary about public transport but was also realistic about my ability to ride a bike to the office (at the top of a steep hill) as I hadn't really ridden for 20 years... I went for the e-bike and I'm thrilled that I did, it's a revelation! The assistance the bike gives means my journey to work is a breeze, half the time the bus took and a million times more fun. The styling is beautiful and turns heads wherever we go and, though I know very little about such things, the build quality seems fab too. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I was very impressed with the selection of bicycles, I had trouble finding a suitable electric bike as I am petite (7st) and only 5’ 1’’ before finding juicy bikes online. I chose the City Mixte which turned out to be perfect. The support offered over the phone was excellent. I am very happy with the bike as my commute to work is about 12 miles each way and I would not be able to ride that far on a conventional bicycle. I find it super sturdy and so far very dependable. It might be a bit heavy if you have to bring it up and down stairs, but I manage to lift it three steps up and down each use.

Bought two bikes - one a Wisper about 3 years old now, the other a Roller e-bike 18 months old. Both have gone wrong recently, and I rely on my e-bike to get to work as a doctor in Sheffield. Calling and calling Juicy Bikes to try to get the bikes repaired. Each time I am told that business is up by 400% so they are not doing repairs - just new sales. Surely they have a responsibility to existing customers?!! Very very disappointed in this attitude.

Just taken my new Juicy "Ticket" e bike out for its first proper on and off road spin. I am so impressed - the power is incredible, and the electric boost kicks in immediately. Most of the time I never needed more than 2 in order to achieve 17 to 18mph on the flat, with practically no effort at all. Took the hills with ease. Even the ones I'd previously had doubts about. This has given me a new found sense of freedom as my knees are not good, and walking any distance is now painful. This is absolutely no strain on the knees at all. Well done juicy, worth every penny.

What a great shopping experience, this company and Bryn in particular were exceptional. They put up with my multiple questions, were good to their word and got my wife’s ebike to us on time, even taking the current Covid-19 into consideration. Bryn didn’t mind me asking for regular updates and now the ebike has arrived my wife has not been off of it. We bought to to help ease her back into cycling and she nearly pooped her pants when she first turned on the electric motor. We bought the entry level ebike and we are very satisfied with our purchase, the whole process has been a walk in the park thanks to this great team. Well done, stay safe and keep up the good work.
