“Over the last 2 years, the housing market has been volatile. We were first time buyers, with no knowledge on how to navigate the different complexities. Steven Prior from John Charcol helped us throughout the 2 years it took us to land a purchase, inspite of all the ups-downs we witnessed as buyers. He was patient, incredibly helpful, and provided key insights on the process whenever we needed. He was also quick to deliver on any brokerage / lender related work which ensured that as a buyer we moved fast throughout the transaction. Even when on leave, he ensured that his colleagues were avaliable to help us out. Thankyou Steve, Matt, the firm - John Charcol for helping us get our first house. “I couldn't recommend John Charcol more highly. Always available to talk and no stranger to a challenge. Whatever your mortgage criteria, they'll work tirelessly to find a loan for you. My broker Heather is an expert and extremely hard-working; she didn't give up in the face of a challenge, but she was always up front and realistic, explaining everything meaning I always understood where we were at and what the next steps and likely outcomes wee. She treats your mortgage like it's her own and does all she can to find you the loan you need. She was ably assisted by Katherine who managed managed to shave a week off the valuation/offer process, amazing! I'd never use another brokerage firm!”

“So far only a telephone call but great advice on how to get along with splitting my property and selling one half to pay off my mortgage, my mortgage company were very unhelpful but thanks to Laurence I now have a plan and will be using John Charcol to help me sort out finances.”

“I was rather desperate to get a new mortgage due to the terrible interest rate increases. These increases meant that I was not getting enough rent to cover the mortgage. John Charcoal was able to get me a new mortgage, with amazing terms and it all went so smoothly. They are terribly efficient and communicate the whole way through the process. “John Charcol were professional and provided a good overall service, my Mortgage Adviser went the extra mile to deliver, was friendly and dedicated. My Client Relationship Manager was again friendly however lacked the speed I would have expected to push through the mortgage, but that is the only area of improvement that I would like to see, overall I was pleased with the service provided.”

“Andrew Ireland has been the best mortgage broker I have ever used. I have 10 houses on various mortgage deals so I have dealt with him on multiple occasions. He is very prompt to respond, has an excellent knowledge of the confusing range of mortgage products and is always very easy to communicate with. I recommend him unreservedly.”
