PLEASE DON'T waste your money with this company. Paid £450 for the whole house to be treated to ensure a 3 month guarantee. Within 3 months I emailed to say flies were still present. After receiving no response I rang. They did come back just after the 3 month guarantee period and put a smoke bomb in the loft which didn't work either. Rang to inform them. They were rude, repetitive and robotic in their response. Totally disinterested in the fact the treatments don't work. Very disappointed indeed.

Moved into a new house which had a massive flea infestation. JG pest control came out quickly however they did not solve the problem.. at all! They used chemicals that weren’t for fleas. Every time I phoned the company to explain that my problem wasn’t gone in the slightest, they fobbed me off with so many excuses. I’ve had to pay another company to actually come and treat the problem. I know you’re desperate when you have a pest problem but please avoid this company.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - ASTONISHINGLY APPALLING PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - ASTONISHINGLY APPALLING - to quote their last email to me, apparently, when it comes to using JG Pest Control, "these things can happen from time to time". I have never written an online review in my life but I'm afraid my experience of this company is the worst I have ever had of any business and so I felt compelled to write something so that others don't have to experience the hugely unpleasant last few weeks I have had with JG Pest Control. The original treatment they used actually made the pest problem worse. And they were by far the most expensive quote I obtained - I ended up having to use another company, who were far cheaper, much more professional, and really great to deal with throughout. JG Pest Control on the other hand were the opposite - having made the problem worse they then failed to even show up for three separate appointments - and on each occasion I received no notice that they were not attending until after the arranged time and then received no follow-up apology from them - from my experience they appear to simply not care about customers, being much more focused on their own processes. Their customer service is appalling and they refused to speak with me on the phone about the problem I had experienced with their service. They would only email. They have a 'computer says no' approach to dealing with customers unfortunately which, by the looks of my last email from them, starts right at the top of the organisation. An endemic cultural problem that every customer will probably end up experiencing one way or the other. Even the Directors of the business were, by all accounts, just not interested in me as a customer. When I finally managed to speak to somebody there to explain quite how bad things had been, they didn't even take the time to call me back, but just sent me a dismissive email essentially saying 'the matter is concluded' from their point of view. There are lots of credible alternatives to JG Pest Control and based on my experience, my incredibly strong advice is to never risk engaging with them unless you want to experience some atrocious customer service and a pest problem made even worse. A shockingly bad experience unfortunately, from start to finish.

Utterly appalling company! DO NOT USE! From start to finish, our experience with JG Pest Control has been shocking, so poor that in the end we were forced to cancel and go to another company. Despite a series of failures to attend site, leaving us with a dangerous wasp infestation, JG Pest Control still insisted on charging us the full initial call-out fee of £100+VAT! This represents sheer greed and an absolute lack of customer focus!

Literally the worst customer service I've experienced ever. It's impossible to ever get hold of anyone by phone or email, when you do they are so rude it's shocking. There's no one to even complain to, they are literally just after the money, save you money and give it to a smaller business who will actually provide a service

I’ve already written one bad review about this company, but wondered if I’d been a little too hasty as they eventually contacted me. However, communicating with them is horrendous. They “aim to reply to emails within 30 minutes” but they don’t reply! They suggest contacting then through WhatsApp - but don’t reply. When I phoned, they didn’t answer. They don't even answer their emergency phone!!! It’s very much a ‘Don’t call us, we’ll call you” situation, which is terrible when you really need their paid-up-front service! If you’re looking for good service, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

This is a scam. Paid £360 upfront for solving bed bugs. This was supposed to include 2 further visits. I expected a proper expert service for this kind of money.What actually happened was a completely untrained youth came in with no equipment, set off smoke bombs easily found cheaply online. Needless to say the bed bugs remained and we never saw him again. I have reported them to Trading Standards

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We have at least one rat in/under our kitchen. Having paid £170 up front a young man called and filled in a hole in the kitchen floor, leaving a pot of ‘poison’ under the kitchen unit. That was two weeks ago (25/08/2021). He asked me to call the company in three weeks for a follow-up appointment. However, since his visit the rat has made another hole in the floor under the kitchen unit, nibbled a hole in the unit kick-board, nibbled away the edge of the Lino, and left faeces and urine around the kitchen (necessitating daily cleaning and disinfecting of our kitchen). I have written two emails to the company and tried phoning, but with no response, which means I cannot even arrange a further visit. I suspect they are ignoring me and am frantic. I have obviously wasted my money, which is no small thing since I receive only a government pension. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

BE WARNED!!!! I hired this firm to address a wasp issue. Was a sold a full service which promised to find the source of the wasps/wasp nest regardless of whether it was internal or external and I paid in advance. In reality, a technician arrived, took a look around then left without doing anything. Meanwhile my tenants sent photos and videos of wasps and a possible nest outside the flat - which the technician was "unable" to find in the whole 5 mins he was onsite. I called customer service - no one answered. I emailed their customer service address - emails bounced back. Texted their after hours WhatsApp number - no reply. Basically, they took my money up front, delivered nothing and were uncontactable afterwards. Complete mess.

DO NOT PAY UPFRONT! We have new born in the house and I am allergic to wasp and bees. We had work on the house and wasps came to the kitchen. It was urgent for me to sort this out. I had been told I will be called when technician will be on the way. Someone came and nocked on the door, as I was breastfeeding upstairs and nobody didn’t contact me before hand I thought it may be just some stranger so I carry on feeding baby. Some time after I received an invoice with the report they had been and finished the job but nothing was actually sorted! Needed to do it quickly so called different company but never received a refund from this one. After a long dispute, loads of stress we just give up. Staff was rude and management on top of that made it really long and difficult process over many emails. So disappointed!

I regret using the company. I paid £274.80 for the removal of a bee problem in a garden shed. The chap borrowed my spade and proceeded to use it to kill the bees which took him all of 15 minutes before leaving me to clear up the mess.

Although the service from your company was swift, my details were incorrect and I felt the charge was excessive given that I had to provide equipment (a long stick) to the operative. I will not be recommending your company if the needs arises.

Awful company I paid £240 for mice problem 2 months later they still here they send people to check poison is being eaten confirm it then go nothing changes and nothing gets done the mice seem to enjoy the food obviously it has no effect this company causes no end of stress do not use them go with a company that is with bpca strange why this company isn’t registered with then that speaks for itself do not use

My experience with JG Pest Control has been awful and has left me worried to request help from companies going forward. Future customers please read - important information regarding service and fees charged. I came home one day to find that there was a large swarm of what appeared to be wasps in a tree in my back garden. I immediately took to google to find a company to come and assess/get rid of the infestation. I found JG Pest Control and called them. The man on the phone was nice but didn’t ask me many questions and advised that I had to pay £150 up front in order for someone to come to my home. I found this strange but was worried about the infestation and needed help, so I paid. I then received numerous e-mails from the company with terms and confirmation of the booking etc. The next day a man came to my house from JG Pest Control. He was in my back garden for less than 5 minutes, stood around 5 meters away from where the infestation was and proceeded to tell me that they weren’t wasps but honey bees and that there was nothing he could do. He advised that they would go away on their own in a few days. He also told me that the man I had spoken to on the phone the day before should have asked me more questions to establish if they were wasps or not and should have known that it wasn’t even wasp season. When the man had left I received several e-mails enclosing documents signed by the man confirming that I had agreed he could sign them on my behalf that he had been and dealt with the situation and that the £150 remained payable for attending. No documents were mentioned or shown to me and I certainly did not approve the signing of the documents on my behalf. I wrote back to JG Pest Control and was horrified to receive very unprofessional responses from the company’s Senior Business Development & Office Manager advising that they were still going to charge me £120 as a survey charge (I was happy to pay a small call out charge but charging me 80% of the cost to deal with the infestation seemed ludacris), referring to the terms and conditions I had been sent after I had already paid and advising the following: “I do not wish to come across abruptly, but we attended your property in good faith to solve a wasp issue, however due to inaccurate information we arrived to find it to be a honey bee issue. If we were advised accurate information at the time of sale I feel we could have avoided this situation.” To describe the employee turning up for less than 5 minutes and staring at a bush as a “survey” is shocking and the ‘survey report’ I received after gave false statements about what the employee had told me. I was also horrified to see the comment regarding inaccurate information. JG Pest Control cannot expect its customers to be insect experts, as that is why we call the company in the first place. The customer service staff should be asking a minimum amount of questions to establish the situation before sending someone out to homes. I write this as a warning to future customers to make you aware of the charges and the implications should JG Pest Control not be able to resolve your issue. I also have a genuine concern about how many other potentially vulnerable people have paid these costs.

The absolute worst: JG Pest Control were employed to do a full inspection for bed bugs. They did not perform their duty and still recommended their expensive treatment plan based on the knowledge that one member of the family had been bitten. A huge quantity of bugs was subsequently found in the house. A rival company came in to eradicate and established they were carpet beetles: something JG Pest Control should have done themselves. They issued a partial refund. There is no one to call, no one to speak to. They're absolute sharks.

The job has not yet been done. They arrived two weeks ago and said decking was too wet for ladders which is probably fair enough but they also admitted they did not have vent covers with them Therefore, they could not have carried out job if it was dry.

Took money on the phone, would not start service before customer signed the disclaimer. Charged a very high price for "superior" heat service against moths but only guaranteed it for three months, did not warn that there might be a risk to bedroom fitted wardrobes, ruined them and refused to accept liability. Technician about visiting and left rubbish in the property.

I would give Zero stars for this… I would give Zero stars for this company if i could. They were a waste of my time and money. I would say avoid this company at all costs. They are only after taking your money and hardly care about the service they provide you. I initially called them for mice in my house, first tech came and he sprayed foam and put mice poison around the house. He only had a couple boxes and was reluctant to provide more although i have a 3 floor house. I had to really request him to leave more and didn’t understand why he was being so selfish with the boxes as this was a service i had paid for and have mice all over my house! Second tech came and all he did was break my kitchen kick board and tell me my best option is to contact the council to fix a new wall in my kitchen unit so mice can’t come in as they have been chewing through the foam. I reported the broken kickboard to a calls handler Liam & requested a replacement; he told me to email the manager. I emailed the manager Mr Leigh Fowler but he was very dismissive of my problem and said there is nothing he could do as i did not report it on the same day and confirmed that Liam the calls person who i said i spoke to on the phone confirmed he never spoke with me which i think is absolutely ridiculous. The manager made it out i was lying and when i mentioned i wasn’t able to report the incident on the same day as i was very busy (i have a toddler and heavily pregnant), he was rude and said reporting only takes 5 mins and implied i broke the kickboard myself! On the 3rd visit, a tech arrived and told me that he cannot open the mice poison boxes to check activity due to having the wrong keys and literally told me there is no point he was there. I have already requested a refund for the last payment they took and hopefully they refund my money as the tech did nothing on third visit. However i will not be surprised if they try to dismiss giving me a refund as they really don’t care about customers once they have been paid. I literally wasted £240 and now wish i went to a more decent company with a reasonable price who actually do their job properly & care about their customers. Please save yourself from hassle by avoiding wasting your money on this company! Their techs have no idea what they’re doing; customer service is disgraceful including management! Also, i still have mice in my house! Worst service i have ever received!!!
