The material I ordered was not what I received. The picture was not a true reflection of the pattern. was very disappointed

Service was excellent in terms of advice, however the wallpaper was fractionally out on the repeated pattern, such that if it matched up on one of the pattern matches, it was not matched on the other pattern matches.

Initially I found exactly the wallpaper I wanted, the service was excellent and delivery prompt - though I did feel that the free sample was by no means big enough nor the still meagre sample I then paid three pounds for. I had asked for guidance from Jane Clayton as to how many rolls I would need and sent measurements, sketch and description of the room and specified it was merely for a relatively small area in the partly tiled bathroom for the space between picture rail and dado rail. I was told to get three rolls. However, when finished I had one full roll and almost half a second left after my professional decorator had followed strictly the instructions for applying. When I asked to return the full roll in its original package unopened this request was refused. The wallpaper was not cheap and in the present climate of buying on line it is to be expected that refunds/returns are regarded as a normal part of every transaction. It was even suggested in the reply to my request that the extra roll might have been because the window was included in their calculation or even that they had allowed for the "skirting board" which made me wonder whether my original description of the room had even been read carefully. Having said this, I am delighted with the finished result but am left with the impression that in any dispute the customer is unlikely to have redress and as a result am unlikely to deal with J&C in the future.

Unfortunately, I've rated this as Poor because the delivery person had left the parcel / delivery of wallpaper behind the garden gate. I arrived home from work to find a wet parcel as it had been raining. What annoys me more, is that when the order was placed, there is a field for delivery comments and I specifically said that if there is no answer at home, please leave in the garden shed. I also left the same instructions on the delivery company's website when a link was emailed to be to track my delivery. Other than the delivery, website was easy to use and despatch was prompt. If I were to order again, I'd have to check which delivery company, Jane Clayton & Co. were planning to use.

Unhelpful staff when requesting help with batch numbers, did not seem to be too bothered. will definitely try other retailers for future purchases

I ordered an item to arrive on a specific day for reasons of security and for which there is an option in the order process. The team failed to follow this instruction and my subsequent email conversation with customer services indicated a hurried response because the date had not been read carefully enough and did not address the problem for me - i.e. they were not able to rearrange delivery for the correct date. I ended up having to collect the item from a local collection point.

unhappy with item pattern looked smaller on the pictures demonstrated and cannot return even though nothing wrong with fabric 2 metres

Please note for possible future orders - the pattern repeat dimensions are on each product page, and we do always recommend seeing a sample first. Unfortunately small cuts of fabrics are non-returnable, due to this being cut bespoke to your dimensions. We hope to hear from you again.

Unfortunately the wrong address was printed on the delivery of the wallpaper. After a week of not receiving this I called and discovered it had been sat at a different address with neighbours. However we didn't know these neighbours and therefore it was never passed over to us. Eventually we got the package ( after proving who we were to them too ! ) Shame it took so long.

Poor returns, had to pay £23 when tried to cancel within 24hrs. Better buy elsewhere.

I ordered 3 rolls of two different colours of wallpaper from the same range. I received an e.mail to say that one of the colours was unavailable and was asked what I wished to do. Before I had replied, I received another email to say that the 3 rolls of available colour had been dispatched. When I contacted the company to say if I couldn’t have all six rolls I did not want any I was told that my order was two separate orders and was treated like that! When I asked who would pay to return the wallpaper I did not want I was told ME!

Hello, We are quite happy with the quality of the product and the delivery abroad. It was also a very competitive price, we checked several websites. On the other hand we are quite unsatisfiedIt was a 5meters x 2,7 meters wall and your calculator suggested 5 rolls. I’d like to point out that 5,01 meters (1 cm more) suggested even 6 rolls. with the number of roll suggested by your website. It was a 5meters x 2,7 meters wall and your calculator suggested 5 rolls. In addition to that, 5,01 meters (1 cm more) suggested even 6 rolls, but we eventually bought 5 because there is a door in the middle of the wall. As you can see from the picture, we were able to stick it properly to the wall, and we still had 2 and a half roll left (2 unopened). We are satisfied with the product but we feel cheated. We were thinking about buying more, as we really like your products. Could you please give us a solution? Thank you.

I bought 3 rolls expensive wallpaper, I have one left over. Rang Jane Clayton to be told that I couldn't return the wallpaper. I now have an £80 roll sat doing nothing. I will never use you again neither will my friends & family.

We also provide a quantity calculator for wallpaper, and are always more than happy to calculate how many rolls will be needed.

Very disappointed- roman blind looks home-made and not constructed to a professional standard: eg. lining on bottom edge of back is uneven and visible from outside of window and when drawn up the pleating is also uneven.( have tried adjusting this on the cords but to no satisfaction) I would like Jane Clayton & Co to comment.

Wallpaper looks great, but was provided by 3rd party & not Jane Clayton & Co. They put incorrect address on parcel & it was lost for a number of days

I ordered fabric from JC and arranged to have it sent to a mail forwarding company in the UK who will forward it to NZ. When there were issues with the delivery of my order I emailed JC and got no reply, I had to follow up with another email a few days later to get a response. I was also told one fabric was out of stock for a few weeks, but it appears it was delivered within a few days so it's been very confusing. I certainly wouldn't recommend this company.

One curtain pole bracket was cracked. There weren't enough curtain rings for our curtains. Liaison from placing order is poor compared to other internet cos. No order confirmation. Poor delivery time info. The wall paper samples said free on the site yet you charged for them at checkout.

The fabric on the roman blind is not hanging properly, puckered in places despite hanging in situ for 2-3 weeks since fitting. Expensive fabric £79 meter , overall I am disappointed with finish item

The delivery driver left the boxes with the wallpaper outside my front door in the rain! Luckily, I came home early and was able to get the wallpaper out of the boxes before the water seeped into them. However, really not acceptable way of delivering wallpaper.

I placed the order in November and finally received my blinds in February. I only got told there was a problem with the order after I contacted you. I believe customer service should have contacted me to tell me there was a problem. Very slow and poor customer service

I ordered more than i needed and tried to return a very expensive unused roll of wallpaper, in original packaging. I was advised that the company do not accept returns of part orders! Very disappointing.
