Our guide, Tony, was fantastic! I feel really lucky to have been able to go on this tour. Stonehenge, Glastonbury, and Winchester in one day is too much, though! I think most of us would have happily skipped Winchester for more time at the other two. I’d happily pay for a more focused tour! That said, I would do it again. Thank you!

If you are finishing a cruise in Southampton, and you have to catch an evening flight from Heathrow Airport, then you should consider joining the tours offer by International Friends. They take you to some interesting sights on the way to airport, worth seeing in a comfortably manner.

You were waiting for us and our departure time was perfect and you managed to get all of the itinery done in good time delivering us right in front of our small hotel

The guide uses his British jokes along the way and make the trip very light hearted. We enjoyed traveling in a small group.

The tour guide was funny, efficient and informative and the bus driver was also a nice guy. The tours to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle were quite seamless and the guide was very clear with his instructions. At our drop-off point where we were due to catch a smaller vehicle which would take us to our hotel. They didn't turn up on time so we had to wait...which was no problem. One fellow passenger's bags were accidentally offloaded by the driver (along with some other passengers bags) and he was very upset. However the guide kept double checking everything and would have discovered this anyway. He just made a 'mountain out of a molehill'. We would not hesitate to use this company again.

This is an ambitious itinerary and large crowds at all three stops were negotiated with great skill by both the guide and the driver. I would rate the tour as very good except for the huge crowds and that is not something that International Friends can avoid. Overall, this was an excellent way to spend the day, getting from the port to our hotel in central London, while also visiting 3 of the great British tourist sights.

Pick-up at the cruise terminal was easy. We located our guide, and after the rest of our group arrived, we were on our way. We enjoyed Bath and Cotswald. The pub lunch was very hearty. The guide was informative. Some small mishaps led for the good as opposed to the very good; 1. We ended up waiting quite a bit to get into Bath, despite having prepaid for our tickets. 2. The guide got stuck in traffic and was over half hour late to the pick up. While we didn't have his number, it would have been helpful if he had let the office know so that they were aware of what was going on when we called.

A little too fast walking to sites for ederly. Otherwise good.

Our bus driver/guide made the tour so enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable but absolutely so funny with stories and commentary along the way. Personal suggestion would be to spend a bit more time at the small town stops along the way and less time at the palace. Lunch stop was great as well. Tony our guide gets excellent 5 stars! I accompanied Suzanne on the tour and echo her comments. It would have been nice to spend time in one of the towns for strolling and shopping, either by reducing time at the palace and/or bypassing one of the towns. Stow on the Wold would be a good place to spend an hour and a half. Tony, our driver, made the day!

The sunrise trip to Stonehenge was amazing! The drive through other areas and visit to Bath was also awesome. I wish they had told us the "pigloo's" were coming up so I could have taken a picture from the coach - never seen a bunch of pigs with their own little houses haha. Only 2 notes, we obviously did not arrive at sunrise since the sun was up when we left London, and we expected a "small group" and there were over 50 people on our bus, not the smaller more pleasant size to visit tourist locations but the actual locations were perfect and the tour was as advertised otherwise.

Southampton to Heathrow, via Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor. The positives: Their representative was at the ship on time (early actually) and did a good job of corralling guests, even late ones. There was a miscommunication between her and the bus driver, but she made a valiant effort trying to find him and it didn't really result in a problem for the guests. Our guide was Andrew. He did a very good job; pleasant, friendly and informative. We had one hour at Salisbury Cathedral. This was enough time to walk inside the church, (donation of L7 expected, but we didn't have to pay as the church was undergoing renovations), briefly see the Magna Carta, then hoof it to town to get a lunch to eat on the bus. Salisbury looked like a lovely town and it would have been nice to have even just 15 minutes more on this stop. Two people were late returning by 10 minutes and Andrews advised that that time would have to be deducted at one of the next stops. Stonehenge was next. I can't fault IF for this, but we were told this was to be the busiest day in the year for visitors. It was PACKED. Our time was 1 1/2 hours, which under normal circumstances probably would be enough. It took about 40 minutes just to get from the parking lot to the shuttle bus, 15 minutes to walk around the perimeter at Stonehenge, another 20 min wait to return via shuttle and 10 min at the visitor center. We were then off to the town of Windsor and Windsor Castle where we were given 2 hours. We opted to not go into the castle itself, but other guests said that even in the express line, they had to wait over 1/2 hour to get in and it was remarkably crowded. The wait in the non express line looked to be about 2 hours. We probably had the better time, walking through some of the charming streets, then finding a pub and having a cider. The drop offs at the airport and hotels were well-organized. So overall, probably a good tour with enough time in off-season. Time was too short given the amount of tourists at each of our three stops. I think adding an additional 15 min at each stop would have made it a bit better, but for what it's worth, we saw two towns we would like to return to and spend more time, AND it got us from the ship to Heathrow in a more interesting way then just a shuttle transfer.

The trip was wonderful. Little delay on picking us up at the hotel, but the company called the hotel to let us know. Only complaint is that we wished we had more time at Stonehenge. we had to wait for the shuttle 25-30 min each way and only had about 30 min to look around.

The driver and the tour guide are very nice, the tour guide introduced alot on the history of Oxford.

We had a great time away. We assumed the tours (apart from the round Paris coach tour)would be by coach, in fact they involved using the Metro and main line train. There is plenty of walking but it’s worth it. We saw the sights and Peter the guide was flexible and informative. We would recommend the tour, just book your Versailles tickets independently.

Our communication with the company was good. However, when we were scheduled to meet our driver, there were some slight complications. We disembarked at 0700, knowing we weren’t supposed to meet our driver till 0830. At 0845, I finally placed an international call to learn our driver had been there since 0800 but was not in the queue for personal drivers. We finally connected and had a great day. Ashley was a great driver and guide. We enjoyed him very much. You sent this to Florian Schneider but we are the Gordy family.

The trip to Dover from London was a great experience. The drive was friendly helpful. The trip from Dover to the airport was not a good experience. The drive left early which we were okay with but 40 minutes into the drive he got a message that he forgot 2 passengers so had to turn around. After picking them up he had to get gas, which you would think he would have done that before leaving. You could tell he wasn’t real prepared for the trip. He was still getting dressed when he arrived. I would still recommend the company. It was a smooth transaction on the first trip. He picked us up at our Air BnB and delivered our luggage while we visited the castle in Dover.

Liked the tour overall. Needed more time at Windsor. Felt rushed. Not sure how much time to spend at each section. would have liked to have time to see town. Did love Windsor though. Loved Salisbury much more than I thought and the town is so cute. Stonehenge was too crowded and hot and had to wait for bus and then just looked at it with a thousand other people. Not a fan of that part of tour. Very nice tour guide.
