“The tour was excellent!!. The reason: obviously the places are very nice and interesting but what made the difference was the vehicle, very comfortable and safe, and mainly the guide Cristina, very friendly, well informed and committed to her job. We had very interesting conversations.”

“There were six of us women on a trip to London who wanted to see Highclere Castle, without having to drive. I happened upon International Friends who advised me that not only did they make that trip, there was a special small group tour day at Highclere that week. Our guide Tony, who was remarkable by the way, picked us up at our hotel at 8:00 and drove us to Highclere, regaling us with his Irish humor all the way. There were only about 60 people in total at the castle that day so we could take our time seeing the castle and the grounds, having our included tea, and shopping at the gift store. We even met Lady Carnarvon! Tony then gave us options for the rest of our day, and we chose to go to Bampton and then drive through other Cotswold towns before returning to London. We could not have been more pleased with our day. Our van was clean and comfortable and Tony was an excellent driver. He answered every question we sent his way on anything from politics to history to current events with a twinkle in his eye. He clearly enjoys his job! The cost of our day divided by the six of us was negligible and we felt it was a great value. We can't wait for our next trip with International Friends!”

“Unforgettable wonderful tour of Downton Abbey filming locations on May 30, 2023. Amazing Amber, the best guide I have ever met! A huge amount of information was presented in an easy and entertaining way. Amber's inexhaustible energy, sparkling humor and warm attitude towards tourists, as well as the high quality of driving make me rate this tour six stars.”

“We did the Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Castle tour - a long day!! Worth every minute of it. Dr. Shepherd was our guide and he made this trip very spot on! His way of explaining the big picture and then the details worked really well! This tour is a great way to see (without much compromise) the 3 key bucket list items! My family loved it!!”

“My mom and I loved our experience and tour with International Friends. It was something we were so looking forward to while visiting London and it did not disappoint. The tour guide did an amazing job from her cute personality to her knowledge of the Cogges farm, Cotswolds, High Clere Castle and Downton Abby. She brought everything to life and made it so fun. We really felt very spoiled this day. The place we went for lunch was great as well. One of the funnest things we did on our holiday.”

“Loved our day at Highclere and the surrounding area. Amber, our guide, was knowledgeable, energetic and accommodating. Our driver was also excellent. We saw so many shooting locations from the Downton Abbey series and Amber shared photos and other little tidbits along the way to make the bus ride fun and interesting. When we arrived back in London at the end of the day, she was quick to make sure that everyone had a plan to get back to their hotel via the Tube, walking, Uber, etc.”

“We enjoyed everything about our day, from start to finish! Our tour guide (and I apologize, I can't remember her name), was wonderful! You can tell she loves everything about Downton Abbey and shared so much information with us. She even shared some photos she had from the movie opening. Our driver kept us all safe and I liked the small van for our travel, rather than a large tour bus! Our tour was on May 2, 2023, Downton Abbey Filming Locations, Cotswolds and Highclere Castle.”

Amber was such a fantastic tour guide - giving us just enough information and plenty of free time to explore each area. And Carlos did a great job getting us out of the traffic jam in London and on to our tour. 5 Stars all the way!”

“Our private tour of Stonehenge and Windsor Castle with International Friends was excellent. Booking was straight forward. They responded very quickly to any questions we had, and there was no issue in changing our itinerary (at our request). The van we took was quite comfortable; it was convenient to leave some of our belongings there while we were out and about. The best part of the tour, however, was our tour guide Valentina. She was absolutely amazing - very knowledgeable, engaging, personable, and happy to answer any questions we had. I would absolutely book another tour with International Friends, especially if Valentina could be our guide!!”

“Our small group tour of Stratford upon Avon, the Cotswolds and Oxford with Valentina and Paul was beyond expectations. We had an amazing time! Valentina was the perfect guide and struck a great balance between entertaining, education and also sometimes sitting back quietly to let us take things in. We felt like VIPs with special access and entrance to the sights that seemed to get crowded right after we went through! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get out of the city to see as much as possible in one day! Great value!”

“At every step of the process, International Friends is the tour company that will cater to your needs, answer your questions, and actually stay in touch. We arranged an all-day trip from our London hotel out to Oxford and the Cotswolds. There was a lot I didn’t know ahead of booking an Oxford trip, about what is not open to the general public, but all the expectations about what was available to us or not, and what time allowed for and did not… all of that was set put up front many weeks before our tour. Our guide Andrew, and our driver Paul were both excellent as well as entertaining, and we had a great time which remained flexible on the go.”
