I needed to renew a policy and also set up a new one. The process was relatively quick and simple. However, the person I spoke to for the new policy spoke far too quickly much of the time and I had to get him to repeat things several times. Perhaps he was reading off a screen. Also there were a number of repetitive questions - again as if reading off a screen therefore the agent was not really engaged personally with the process. Otherwise - fine

Even though earned 30% no claim discount over a 3 Yr period... The Premiums went up nearly £160 in the same period with no claims or changes to the Policy.

When challenged on my insuance quote, the price was immediately dropped. Also I note over the last few years the commission and fees charged by Intasure have risen much faster in percentage terms than the cost of living index. Both of these behaviours are deeply unattractive and indicate,"rip-off," behaviour, which does not encourage customer loyalty.

I use Intasure because they are able to offer a slightly more tailored insurance cover, specifically extended coverage whan away overseas. I decided on a combined policy for building, contents and all risks - but find it ridiculous that the excess applied is the same for each. Trying to address this proved to be a round of quickly provided, but incorrect quotations that got increasingly expensive. Paying for a policy monthly attracts an exhorbitant interest rate of ~25%. How does anyone justify that kind of level when BOE interest rates are so low? FInd a new provider!

disappointed the renewal offer was not referred to underwriters before being offered. resulting in an unexpected higher premium when renewed.

The operator was very helpful, was a credit to Intasure, she had a lot of knowledge regarding the business. However, tried to pay for the insurance via their website. I couldn't do this via phone or iPad. I reported this back, to make things worse, an IT guy emailed me asking if message boxes appeared, as owners of the website they should know what happens with a button click, client side or server side. Also £50 admin seems very steep as this accounted for 25% of the insurance.

I felt the £50 admin fee (increased over 40% from last years which was already high) was excessive and far too high a proportion of the total bill - the helpful representative reduced the insurance element to compensate so I was no worse off than last year and so I did renew - but I can't help feeling this is the wrong way to do business,

Dealing with a representative on the telephone regarding a renewal quote was speedy, efficient & easy to follow. However, the service could be greatly improved if their renewal invitation letter gave the total cost of renewal, rather than highlighting the premium only & then stating see the policy schedule for the full breakdown.

It took 2 calls to get a competitive quote Having been a loyal customer I can’t see why it took so long and I didn’t get the right quote till I had got 3 quotes from other people and then Karen, who was very efficient gave me the right price and kept me for another year. You charge £50 admin which could be halved if you gave the correct price the fist time of calling.

Bought an insurance policy over the phone, gave all the correct details even spelling it out over the phone. Hi It has still not been corrected after 2 emails sent. The insured address is the most important part of the insurance taken out

The insurance provided is adequate for my needs, but I fail to understand why, living permanently in my property in Crete, Greece, there is not a reduction in the price of the policy. When you consider a holiday home which may be occupied for only several weeks, the risk of vandalism, theft, damage to the property from burst pipes etc, is far greater than the risk to my property which is lived in all year round. I would welcome feedback from yourselves regarding the policy for overseas properties being divided into at least 2 categories, partially occupied during the year (holiday home) and permanently occupied. Also you may consider a no claims bonus. Thanks.............Mark

Quick and easy renewal for overseas property. Shame about the £50 administration fee.

Good information, clear estimate, on time. Pleasant telephone staff. However i think the arrangement fee of £50 was extortionate.

I do not see why when contacting the company they use 0345 numbers as this can range from 8 - 55 pence. When I got my schedule not a certificate of insurance even when I asked for one it included an admin fee of £50.00, Why? When I queried this I was told because they do not charge for changes etc throughout they year this is why this charge is put on. I asked if i made no changes would I receive the admin fee back. After-all this is your business why should a customer have to pay you when you have to provide the necessary documents under law. Competitive price for insurance but not with this admin fee.

Good service and got a cheaper price as I've been with you for so long and not claimed. However why not give the lower price straight away so your loyal customers don't have to shop around. You could have lost me as a customer this year.

Good service. Unhappy that when ringing to pay it took a long time on hold. About 10 minutes. Don’t like call centre mentality

Service was as good as always. However, the 2+ minute voicemail intro that cannot be skipped was painful, especially as I got cut off and had to redial. Also, the repeating of all the statements could have been avoided - I am sure that if one paid on line this would not be necessary.
