Absolutely awful service- both technically and customer service related. Complaints of poor to no speeds going for over 2 months. Eventually I gave in my notice and ended up paying for 2 months payment. With the remit of having to apply back and offered a credit note Also had to ring again to give them permission to give refund as not willing to accept credit as my accounts closed- doesn't make sense to even suggest this. Hours of waiting and frustration on the phone- stay well clear of this company- its awful to deal with- never again

Imagine Ireland don't know what is Cancellation policy means..Cancelled our stay in a cottage 54 days in advance before arrival and got 50% of full payment. Ridiculous!! We live in 2022 where all over u get free cancellation policy until even 2 days of arrival. Everything is for customer needs. Very disappointed with this site, will never use again!!!

The cottage we booked in West cork through them was very dirty and dusty. Imagine Ireland appear to have no vetting policy of the cottages they have on their Web site. Their unfair terms and conditions means they take no responsibility of any problems.

The house was very filthy. Imagine Ireland did nothing about it. Our complaints fell on deaf ears. All we got was blah blah blah about the T’s & C’s. Very poor customer service. A very irritating, frustrating and upsetting experience over all. Imagine Ireland seemed to be only focused on grabbing our money. If you have any sense…AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

We paid a deposit for a cottage in may 2020. The booking was cancelled due to Ireland being closed with covid. Still not got our money back. To me this is theft, they have taken our money and supplied zero. Krap customer service. We will not use again.

Had a booking for a holiday home since January.. one week before our holiday, they sent me an email, on a Sat at 6pm.. informing me the owner had cancelled our booking. ( they were informed of this three weeks prior to this) and offered me two jokes of alternatives..ridiculous. Small print.. we do not take any responsibility when owners cancel. Very poor form and never again.

Seeing these reviews has reminded me of our awful encounter with their customer service and this was back in the good old days before the pandemic! Awful cottage filthy and badly described. They let the owner justify the state of it and the owner blamed us - whoa that is just not on. Avoid this company. Give your cash to one that deserves it.

Booked a house for a week in Tralee with this company. I knew they had a strict cancellation policy but since I booked last year and had the entire trip planned, I didn't think it would be an issue. Amidst the GLOBAL PANDEMIC that has borders closing, flights being cancelled, social distancing, quarantines and being told BY THE HOMEOWNER HIMSELF NOT TO COME, I cancelled. I cancelled three weeks before my trip and this company DOES NOT CARE. Their cancellation policy doesn't allow for pandemics they say so I am still out 75% of my money. They claim they have refunded part of my money but I havent received it. Will never use this company again and I suggest no one else should either.

I booked 2 cottages for april, their refund policy is just not acceptable. Due to the corona virus crisis i had to cancel them and i will only get back 25% of the second cottage. I sent them several emails however they do not care about this unexpected crisis. I contacted a lawyer today to see what legal action can be done. I clearly do not recommand this agency, they dont care about customer all they are interested on are the money they can make on customer back !!!

Booked two holidays houses for beginning of April - they do have a very strict refund policy which we were aware of. However, when the world is shutting down and we are bing told not to travel, I don’t agree with basically being told ‘too bad’ and I could either see about rebooking the dates (not knowing how long this pandemic might last) and only receiving 25% of my money back. I will be rebooking our trip but will avoid this company and wouldn’t recommend them to others. That being said - they were easy to get on the phone and what money they returned was done very quickly.

I cancelled 5 months ahead of the booking date due to corona virus escalation and they have kept the entire £99.00 deposit despite me saying I will not be rebooking anytime soon. Thankfully I did not wait and see for months and only lost the deposit. Beware

Having read these awful frightening reviews. I have decided after this year 2020 to remove my properties from their books. I have to honour The contract for this year. It is my belief that they are damaging the good name of all of us who take pride in trying to give both our international visitors and Irish visitors a real Irish welcome and a special holiday experience. To those who have had a bad experience Please don’t loose faith in us Riana Sunny south East

Property we booked in the Renvyle peninsula had muddy brown water from all taps and we could not wash ourselves. A 3-nights stay cut short and feedback to Imagine rendered zero help nor follow up. Only reply was the owner had been notified and we should have informed the owner directly to get bottled drinking water. No recourse nor follow through on my question on water for personal hygiene eg showers? Unacceptable! They were only super prompt coming back on my initial pre-booking enquiry and once booked, no other help offered. Will not recommend!

BE AWARE - IMAGINE IRELAND ONLY PUBLISHES POSITIVE REVIEWS ON THEIR SITE Property Ref 7866 Beaufort Kerry house could be amazing BUT it is not. We tried on the final night to provide constructive comment to the owner. However, she told us we were being "picky" as we had been staying at an amazing house. So, since we have been accused of being "picky" here is a list of things which need to improve: Provide an oven glove Provide tongs Ensure all light bulbs work - downlights and exterior outside light not working Provide 6 wine glasses of same quality not a mix of size and shapes Provide a bath plug which fits. Two were provided. Only one fitted and this was after pushing it down Provide pots which all have lids which fit - some did and some did not. This has previously been pointed out in the guest book a number of years ago but not changed. I did note this to owner and again was told I was picky Provide a decent frying pan Provide outside bins so food waste does not have to remain in utility room and dog waste can be disposed of safely Sort out electrical wiring hanging from wall Get a hairdyer which can be switched off without unplugging Finally, I ask the question why does the internet fee need to be paid in cash and why this could not be included in the weekly rental costs. I asked owner why this and utilities had to be paid on final night and was told it was because costs vary. Whilst I understand this to be applicable for utilities it does not apply to the internet which is a "flat" fee. Could this be a way to increase cash in hand and not declare!!! Overall, this could be an amazing house but, in my opinion, requires some TCL. I would not wish to recommend or return.

In August 2018 and again May 2019 I was concerned to see in the body of the Imagine email that the Attraction Vouchers included “Go Greyhound Racing Discount”. As a customer I have on both occassions made Imagine Ireland aware of that greyhound racing is a cruel industry and as a dog owner I’m reluctant to in any way support it.
