“To whom this may concern, I have had nothing but the Best in the form of support, both academically and mentally, in that i-to-i makes one feel that this course is not done until it's done, that it can be done and pretty much will be done, by you, the student, even if it takes two years or more. i-to-i has shown that me and every other student of TEFL will be and is supported right up until completion of the course, TEFL. This, with the latest and most up to date and extremely well-versed information and requirements needed to become a qualified and confidently, well certified TEFL teacher. “Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with the TEFL internship program that you have offered me. I-to-I has misled me regarding the terms of the internship, which has resulted in me spending a significant amount of money on a program that was misrepresented. Although I do not have a degree, I was told that I could work as an intern in a province of my choice in Thailand for three months and then extend my internship every three months after that. After paying approximately £1400 for the TEFL course and the internship, I was told that I could not extend the internship and had to leave Thailand. This has affected me personally as I wanted to be placed in Udon Thani to be with my partner long term. I feel that I have been misled, and this is unacceptable. I am happy to pay for the TEFL course; however, I want a partial refund for the internship. I was not told at the point of raising the issue that it was non-refundable. I believe that I have the right to get a partial refund, and it should not be denied to me. Moreover, I am disappointed with the communication from I-to-I. The information provided to me was misleading and false, and the lack of communication throughout the process has resulted in me feeling let down and stressed about my situation. I understand that there are other options available to acquire a TEFL qualification through Groupon for a fraction of the cost. I-to-I's actions have demonstrated a lack of care and attention towards its customers. Therefore, I would like to ask for a full refund for the TEFL course and the internship.”

“Good morning... My experience with i-to-i TEFL has been phenomenal. The support and personal interest taken by the support and academic team of i-to-i is what separates i-to-i from the rest and as a "businesses" in making sure one does not give up and pushes through. i-to-i takes a personal interest and in ensuring each and every individual doing a TEFL course through them, will see it through till the end and this is so much appreciated. I had personal problems and two months after my course had expired and was uncompleted, I was allowed to resume through an extension and received the exact same support that I grew confident in and accustomed to and more. Once again, my complete respect and gratitude for and toward i-to-i !!!”

“I really enjoyed the time I spent working on the Level 5 180h course, it was fun and challenging. The course has a very good layout with plenty of important information one needs to be an effective TEFL teacher with a fundamental understanding on how to manage your class and provide a high quality level of teaching. The staff are very friendly, helpful and know what they are doing! The course outlines all the fundamental information you will need to be able to teach students from young ages and help them succeed in learning English as a secondary language. It has comprehensive information on what is expected from you as a TEFL teacher and highlights a wide variety of methods and activities that you can use for a range of different types of lessons. It has useful information for anticipating and solving difficulties associated with teaching younger students, as well as older students, and focuses on creating a safe learning environment that students will feel comfortable in. It will also help you with implementing your ideas into your lesson in a way that is fun, challenging and fair for students. The assessment criteria for the assignments have a high set of standards but are very fair regarding what is required of the learner to achieve their necessary aims. The feedback was very constructive and detailed. It highlighted all of my shortcomings and was well presented with well structured advice on how to achieve my goals, and was especially helpful in improving on my ability to plan a lesson properly. I truly appreciate the work and effort that my Tutor put into my assessments, as it gave me a clear vision of my level of understanding and it helped me build the confidence I need towards becoming a TEFL teacher. Without a doubt this course will help you along your journey to becoming a fully certified TEFL teacher and achieving your dreams! I can wholeheartedly recommend i-to-i if you want to become a confident and successful TEFL teacher. A big THANK YOU to Tim Keeley and everyone at i-to-i for helping me along my journey! I really look forward to working with you again in the future!”

“I just wanted to let you know that you may not necessarily appreciate this response. Nevertheless, Yes, of course, what we send the first time is Never up to standard. I'm absolutely convinced that i-to-i uses the information that we, as students, send to their advantage - using our ideas for your own teaching efforts and to profiteer off of our efforts, regardless of how much we put in – capitalistic greed. I am firmly against much of what i-to-i suggests; however, they seem to enforce dictatorially on their students - "Do or else"...right. I have done five TEFL programs already, and this i-to-i program is by far the worst. I absolutely detest this program and "will" firmly say that I cannot participate in any other courses i-to-i offer and shall convey that message to anyone else I meet, potentially interested in the program. I am so frustrated with this program that I have nothing nice to say. Thanks for nothing. I have exhausted my efforts in trying to convey pleasant messages to the arrogancy of those overseeing students and the leadership in the i-to-I company to no avail; thus, I shall give it back in the manner I perceive the communication that is given in return to us as students. A terrible course to learn how to teach EFL learners. Get rid of the blatant arrogance of personnel instructing the program. Also, please, can students get actual "teachers instead of secondary tutors?" We also expect responses to projects to be in respectable English - no basic spelling or grammatical errors - as is the case with responses I have received, including my last feedback response. And, it is not just because of the British vs. American English spelling differentiation - it is entirely incorrect spelling.”

“I really enjoyed my TEFL course with i-to-i TEFL. The various course contents are well presented, engaging and easy to follow. The assignments take some time to prepare but they are a good preparation for teaching in the future. When I had a question or needed help the support team was very responsive and got back to me very quickly. If looking for a solid TEFL qualification I definitely recommend i-to-i TEFL.”

“I am currently doing the 180 hour TEFL course and although I mostly enjoy it, I do have a few points to make: 1) there is no option to listen to the course via audio file which is not great for people with hearing impairment or those who are just better at perceiving information that way, and punctuation is awful on the site so using text-to-speech app just won't work as well; 2) each section definitely takes more than 1 hour which makes it hard to split your lessons into equal parts (I prefer to only spend 1 hour every other day on the course, and it's impossible for adults who's memory isn't as great as it used to be). Some examples are very outdated and can be perceived as insensitive in our day and age (e.g. as an example of comparison in vocabulary you chose "girls vs boys", well, what if your client is non-binary or trans?).”
