“The pillow itself is great, hence I bought another one. It is the customer service I have issues with. The pillow arrived chucked in a box. No label, no wrapping, no invoice, nothing. So, I was hesitating whether to return it or not. My husband talked me into keeping it. So, I removed the cover, washed it and sprayed the pillow with disinfectant hand sanitiser. Put the cover back, told the person, I bought the pillow for what the issue was...and apologized on the company's behalf.”

“We bought a Hypnia pillow-top hybrid mattress 12 years ago, sadly reached replacement age, but it had been such a good buy I came straight back to the company. Contacted Customer Service for advice, who described their current most-similar mattress but encouraged me to try the Pro instead. Pro tip indeed! I expected a wait, but the mattress arrived within a week. Carefully wrapped (although the box took a little damage in transit the wrapping inside was fine and the mattress immaculate). Unwrapping was exciting as the whole thing was tightly compressed and rolled for shipping - and took a day to fully expand into shape, but no hassle and no smell and a nice clean appealing result. First night. OMG what have we done?! No springs means no ‘sproingg’ noises, but also *no bounce* when you sit on the edge to take your socks off. Don’t sit down too hard - it’s a shock! Mattress felt really quite firm - almost too firm - but my Beloved is a wriggly type and I rapidly fell in love with the silence and the excellent isolation from insomnia gymnastics at the other side of the bed. It took very little time to really fall in love with this mattress. The firm feel rapidly softens a little as the foam warms, and it’s tremendously supportive and comfortable. I was concerned it might be sticky (foam has that reputation) but it is clearly very breathable - much more so than our previous hybrid mattress - actually feeling cooler and not sweaty at all despite a serious winter duvet. The cover is removable for washing (goodness knows how much of a job it will be to get it back on though?) and the whole mattress beautifully made and neatly presented. We’ve consigned it’s long-beloved predecessor to the recycling yard without a single regret.”

“Ordered a pillow recently. I was surprised how quickly it arrived. I must say my delight only lasted until I opened the box. It came in a massive box. No plastic, no price tag, no wrapping, nothing. Just a bare pillow put in a huge cardboard box. I smelled it, because the case was slightly unzipped. It looked like an item that someone ordered and had been returned. It had something like very faint fingerprints on the case. Can I say more? Can I say why wrapping and a price tag is important? Can I say it is a present? Can I say there is still COVID? I took photos and I am happy to send them anywhere and also to upload them. I spoke to my husband and as we checked the foam itself, which looks new and unused, we decided to wash the cover and save us from the hassle of returning it but I am disappointed. I love Hypnia pillows, because we already have 3 of them, but this would be a gift.”

“Bought a mattress topper. Took a while longer than hoped to arrive. Comfortable but sadly has not alleviated a hip problem. Not a negative as that was never guaranteed.”

“Mattress is fine, but it’s let down by customer service, availability and delivery. After ordering the mattress I was told it was a 4 week lead time (which is in the website if you look hard enough). I waited 4 weeks with no communication, and chased hypnia and was told it would be another 4 weeks. I told hypnia I would be on holiday 4 weeks later and was assured I could specify a delivery date. Anyway, while on holiday I got an email saying the mattress would be delivered, I tried to contact hypnia and the delivery company to rearrange the delivery company and got silence (again). Mattress was then dumped on my doorstep while I was on holiday, which was a real problem. If you don’t need a mattress quickly, and are in all day everyday, hypnia will work for you. Otherwise avoid.”

“This is our second Hypnia Pro mattress now. The first has now been handed down to my sister after 10 year of use and it is as comfortable & supportive still, as the day it arrived. Excellent mattress & excellent customer service along with competitive pricing. Have recommended to family & friends and would have no hesitation in recommending. Comfortable supportive mattresses that stand the test of time :)”

“The mattress took a little longer than the given 4 weeks delivery, but very happy with it once it arrived. I have had it for almost 2 months now, and have no-negatives. I have always preferred a firm mattress due to back pain, and struggled to sleep on my front but have had no pain in the morning or during sleep since having this mattress. It is also very light given the size of the mattress.”
