“Human remote controls seem poorly made as the buttons cease to work after a while. We have replaced the old controller and hope that the new one lasts longer.”

“It's ok but i have it attached to a smart TV so i might as well have had a simple recorder for half the money.. I have Youview on another TV, should have had one of these.”

“I ordered a replacement RMF01 remote for our Freesat PVR as the original had developed some intermittent buttons. The replacement arrived promptly and operates the PVR perfectly. The reason I have not awarded top feedback is that the codes for operating TVs, DVDs etc have changed from those given in the original handbook - these are 4-digit codes, whereas the new remote requires 3 digit codes. No indication of this was provided with the new unit, I had to find out how to use it from on line forums. There should be a warning that although the new unit has the same part number it is not a direct replacement, and the new codes should have been provided.”

“Have not had the Humax for long, but first impressions are not very good. One big drawback is need to have the Humax switched on to get an aerial signal to the television. Also, it sometimes locks and cannot be controlled from the remote.”

“Unfortunately I ordered a freeview box when I needed a freesat box. I am still waiting for the freeview box to be collected so I can order the correct one. Hopefully it will be collected tomorrow Thursday 12th Jan 2017. Regards M.Eastwood”

“Bought a new FVP4000 unit because I was told "Humax are the best". Unfortunately it doesn't allow you to look at information on current programmes without changing to the station. Programme you are watching is faded behind programme information. Also you cannot change from information on 1 programme directly to information on an alternative programme without backtracking 2 steps to the programme guide first. Not as good as I was expecting.”

“The first box was faulty so a replacement was sent shortly afterwards. Great! But the delivery guy asked for the remote. the power pack & I gave him the instructions as well. On opening the new box, discovered just the unit inside. It has taken 11 days to get them sent back! Minus the instructions. No real fault of Humax, but all down to DPD delivery company. Thanks guys!”

“Picture quality is good, but when switching on TV the Humax box is always in "standby mode" with screen information saying " channel not tuned" so it take me 2 - 3 minutes to reset it - quite a pain !!! I need some advice as to how to correct this problem. I have retuned the station list but the issue still persists!!!”
