I ordered a women's size 9 but when they arrived they were too small. The box was marked 42 which is actually an 8. I've taken a 9 throughout my adult life and that has always translated as a size 43. Very dissappointing as I'd chosen this company because they have size 9s available but I felt I'd been misled. However, I was given a refund with a trouble free return. No point in me ordering anything else as it's not going to fit me !

Unable to wear slippers as seam in heel of right slipper very protruding causing pain and bleeding in heel.

The slippers were fine but a little narrow on me so I returned them a day or so after receip. However I haven’t yet received a refund hence the one-star review. I have the post office proof of postage!

Their return process is not customer focused. We ordered a pair of slippers but when tried on were too small so organised an exchange for larger size. Was told this would be organised once returned slippers received and checked all in good condition. 12 days later still not received. Checked tracking of returned slippers not delivered yet. I ring retailer and told to be patient but said 12 days for - 48 hours tracked delivery seems too long. They ring back and say classing the parcel as lost with Royal Mail and raising a claim with them and still won’t send a new pair of slippers until claim paid. (Have email to prove this statement was made). I requested a refund instead and this was refused and that also would have to wait for claim to be made by Royal Mail (also proof in email). Fortunately I paid by PayPal so spoke to them on chat as I had returned the item and item was lost by courier the retailer had no right to hold my payment as returned the item within 14 days of purchase. PayPal organised for refund within a couple of days and told me not to respond to the retailer again. I would not recommend this company or it parent company shuperb purely because if you have any issues and need to return an item you may have issues getting a refund back. My advice use PayPal as back up.

Abysmal customer service, with very slow responses as they only seem to work a few hours a day and only Mon-Fri. They sent the wrong size. When this was immediately reported to them, they demanded photos as proof. When proof sent, still refused to send correct size until the incorrect items returned and they had "processed" the return. More than a month after their error was reported, and over 3 weeks since Royal Mail confirmed they'd received it back, plus half a dozen emails to them, they still have not completed this "process". I've been polite and persistent but not getting anywhere, maybe an honest review will jog their memory. The only good news is I ordered the item elsewhere after the first week of incompetence from House of Slippers and the other company fulfilled the order within a couple of days, no fuss, so I still had a Christmas present for loved one in time. In summary - don't buy from them, you could be in for weeks of headaches.

Bought on 11 th November,I returned them back due to too small I had to email them about my refund as they didn’t tell me that they had my shoes (after 14 days) and they said they had been “worn” so I accepted them back and had to pay £5 charge to get them delivered , then it was back and forth saying they couldn’t find my payment . they said they’ll be shipped asap but I’ve only just received them on 29th when they was supposed to be here on the 24th I had to catch them up as no communication and had to email serval times to get information .

Terrible, ordered for a Christmas present with plenty of time. HOS sent out the wrong size, I was told send the wrong pair back and send an image of proof of posting so they will immediately send the correct pair out as it was their mistake. Sent the imagine to be told you have to wait 2 weeks for the return to be received before any will be sent out. They contradict themselves throughout. Very poor customer service for such a large retailer. I will not be recommending HOS to anyone not will I be buying from them again.
