I booked a transfer from Rome airport to the centre of Rome. The Aer Lingus plane was delayed. There was no Hoppa driver in arrivals hall and no one answered my telephone calls. Had to book another taxi. I will never use Hoppa again.

Use this company at your peril. I pre booked a transfer from Belfast International. All seemed bona fide, vouchers received by email, instructions & drivers phone number received on WhatsApp. However the driver was not there & when I called he said he had no record of having taken a booking from Hoppa. Communication with hoppa to resolve this issue was through a bot on WhatsApp, all agents busy kind of scenario, no phone calls to me forthcoming. Had to find a taxi. Shocking service, has the feel of a scam about it. No refund 5 days on.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My return transfer never showed up and as a result I was forced to spend €90 in a taxi to the airport. I have heard no response from Hoppa either on how they are going to resolve this. Will never be using them again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Do not use this unreliable service. They say they will WhatsApp you with directions to find your transfer once you land at the airport. Only they didnt messge us or provide any details so we were unable to find the car or contact the driver. We called them but they wouldnt provide the details over the phone so we ended up having to get a taxi instead. When I complained they happily provided me with evidence that they sent the message containing the transfer details to a completely random phone number, and then refused to refund me because as far as they are concerned the driver was at the airport. Despite them not telling us what car to look for, or where it would be waiting, somehow its our own fault that we couldn't find the car amongst the hundreds of other cars at JFK. If you want to be sure you have a transfer waiting for you, use someone else

We arrived in Florida to find our transfer was not there. I phoned hoppa to be greeted by a very rude operative who dismissed my complaint by saying I should book a taxi and claim it back from the company. I doubt this will happen. Please, please, please avoid this company they do not deliver. I am $40 out of pocket and the same on our return.

My booking was made from and to my hotel door, as advertised on hoppa's website. However we weren't left in front of the hotel, but in a place with stairs, which was definitely not what we had booked. We were not informed of the different location until we were dropped off. I was travelling with a baby 1Y and a toddler 3Y, and I was not able to go down the stairs with the stroller and the suitcases. Also, we were travelling with elderly people with difficulties walking/going down/up the stairs. When we arrived at this place we asked the driver to leave us closer, however he denied us that. And was quite rude. As soon as we realized that the pick up wouldn't be possible in front of the hotel we contacted Hoppa to cancel it. However hoppa didn't accept the cancelation and didn't refund us. We were deceived by Hopa regarding the drop off/pick up place.

The Hoppa driver never turned up to collect us from our hotel in Egypt. The hotel tried both the phone numbers Hoppa provided several times and never got an answer. When he was over half an hour late we had to find another taxi. Had our flight not been delayed slightly we could have missed it. Very stressful. I’ve emailed Hoppa on my return and they have never even bothered to respond!

Terrible return trip with Hoppa. Old mini van arrived late and driver set off in the opposite direction to the airport on a private mission to deliver parcels. Van old. Seat belts did not work. Bad fumes came from the exhaust. Hoppa gave us £3.04 as compensation. Never again. Don't use Hoppa.

Avoid this company unless you think it is aceptable to be dropped at the airport over 6 hours before the flight. To make things worst they inform you of pick-up time 24 hrs before departure. If you then say thet is unaccetable I want a refund they say you have to cancel 48 hours before pick-up time. If I had known pick-up time for a 6pm flight was to be 7:55 am I would never have booked in the first place !

- [ ] Unfortunately I have to write this review to inform people who are expecting to receive a trustworthy service from a reputable company, to book elsewhere! I was a lone single woman, who arrived at an Istanbul airport at 10 pm. My flight was slightly delayed, however there is no excuse for the transfer service who was supposed to pick up not to have arrived! I was left alone, stranded, afraid in a 99% non- speaking airport with no one to help. I tried calling Hoppa various ways at the airport, knowing that I was going to be charged a lot of money from my mobile company to receive brick walls. After 2 hours of not getting anywhere and standing in a practically empty airport I had to resort to using the airport EXPENSIVE taxi service. This was emotional and ruined my first 24 hours in Istanbul. I have been in contact with Hoppa about this since the 24th October 2022, but after reading reviews from when I arrived at my hotel I knew I was wasting my time. They state they have a 14 day policy and of course they rejected my complaint 15 days later, stating that a make believe taxi attempted to call me, but got no response. Absolute Nonsense!! They are horrible and con artist. 1 month later they promised to get back to me but have not attempted to, but I’m not shocked I was warned by the reviews on here. Please do not be like me upset, angry and stranded! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. They may have a little success in turning up for some clients BUT their reliability rate for a majority of bookings is abysmal. Don’t be fooled with their affordable transfer prices. You’re paying to be stood up and pay triple!! Don’t waste your time!!!

Rude customer service - failed to contact local bus service for my return journey . Tell lies when I clearly have correct confirmation - inputted wrong time and flight details then blamed me ? Left me stranded at the hotel and had to pay for an expensive taxi to the airport stress beyond believe never use this diabolical company again horrible people. Appalling service useless staff never even said the word sorry once in all my emails , ?

Driver did not turn up. Called the local number given on whatsapp chat and was told driver was coming back to pick me. Waited for a very long time and then made another call and was told that he was not coming as waited until 1.00 pm? I was waiting outside before 1.00 pm and there was no driver. Very shocking customer service. Do not pre-book with them. Hoppa refused my refund and told me to claim off my insurance. PLEASE READ REVIEWS. SCAMMED SO MANY CUSTOMERS.

AVOID AVOID AVOID CHARLETONS!! Unreliable untrustworthy Rob dogs!!! Disgusting treatment!! Dropped us at midnight at the wrong hotel, we then had to find a taxi to take us to the correct hotel…. Managed to contact Hoppa via email, useless by telephone or chat, who advised they will get back to me on 14 days!! Meanwhile we were only staying for one week, I have not been able to confirm our return journey collection point and time!! They have not admitted fault!! Just take the money drop you anywhere and not confirm the return journey!!! SHOCKING AVOID THEM!!

On the 11 September 2022 I paid £111.23 to Hoppa.com for a return transfer from Ciampino Airport to our Hotel in Italy. On 28th September 2022 we were met by a reasonably smart looking driver who drove us from the airport to our hotel on the outskirts of Rome in a smart reasonably new E class Mercedes. Unbelievably the day before we were returning to the UK they gave us a time for pick up to take us to the airport to meet our return flight. HOWEVER, the time was virtually the same time as the flight!!!. I had terrible trouble getting through to Hoppa but I did eventually get to chat with an agent online. They said they would get back to me by email. They did get back with an email from the partner saying they were unable to pick us up any earlier. This was despite them requesting the flight times from us weeks earlier. And as anyone who flies regularly will know transfer companies normally like to take you to the airport up to 3 hours before your flight departure. Hoppa then emailed us and said they couldn’t supply a driver and suggested we make alternative arrangements for our transfer to the airport. I requested a 50% refund extremely fair in the circumstances as we had to arrange alternative transfer back to the airport at our own expense. So far NO refund has been made. This is one expensive transfer company who in my opinion are operating illegally and using “sharp practice” to swindle people out of their hard earned money. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST if they do not have people to con they will cease to operate…..BEWARE Angela and Paul Sale (staying in Rome at the time)

Booked my holiday transfer 4month in advance with hoppa and paid for it in full. Before picking us up we were advised of the time they were due which we weren't overly happy with as we were advised there were delays at the airport checkin and security and this means we would be really rushing to catch our flight but after contacting hoppa to try and change the time we were told no amendments could be made to the booking. We left it with the arranged time and waited 45mins to be collected tried ringing the emergency number they gave on the confirmation email no answer so had no choice but to call a local taxi firm. Ended up paying nearly double the cost again to be late. Will never use this company again and would definitely not recommend as I have seen other people have the same problem. Their customer service after was disgusting

Prior to covid we used Hoppa many times while traveling in Europe. They were always there at the airport waiting which was important since my daughter and I were traveling alone, sometimes arriving late at night. Very recently we had several pick ups arranged in London and Paris. In London the driver was not at the designated pick up location at 11:00 p.m.. After waiting a half hour we finally reached him and he said he was late because he had been working! Really?! He finally showed up but we had to walk a long distance to meet him at a dark underground parking garage which was pretty scary. In Paris we arrived on time and waited 45 minutes. The driver never showed so we took a taxi to our hotel which added considerable cost to our trip. Not happy since I had paid Hoppa in advance for a round-trip pick up over a month in advance! An hour later while we were in the taxi on our way to the hotel someone called but did not identify who they were because he couldn't speak English. He just kept yelling so we hung up. We were relieved when a driver did show up for our return to the airport but even with his gps he couldn't figure out how to get to our terminal. He took us to the cargo flight area! We were very nervous and asked him why he didn't know the way but he never answered us. By the time he figured out how to get to terminal 2 we had very little time to go through security and get to our gate. We literally had to run to our gate. They advertise that they will be at the designated meeting area IN THE AIRPORT with a sign showing your name, along with the other limo drivers but what they did was try to tell us where to meet them OUTSIDE the airport. We will NEVER use Hoppa again. If you want security with your pickup in a strange airport DO NOT use this service.

Don’t book with this company we suffered flight delays and it was impossible to get in touch with them. In the end we didn’t get the transfer but we’re charged. Terrible customer service.
