One of the rolls of paper that came was unusable it had a scratch all the way down the middle of one of the rolls

Ordered some wallpaper border which arrived rolled up and secured together with sellotape. However sellotape had seriously degraded and the rolls had obviously been sat in storage for a long time. Because of this it was impossible to remove the packaging without damaging the paper, leaving me short of what I ordered and the company has done nothing to rectify this. First they claimed it didn't matter as the border was longer than 10m anyway, so I measured it and it was 10.03m, so I was still missing some length. Then they said they would send me some extra to cover it, but it has never turned up and now they just ignore my messages. Could have just sent me another roll and solved it straight away, but clearly don't care. Terrible company, and terrible attutude.

It is the standard for borders to be packaged this way, to be secured with a small piece of tape which limits any none useable area to a single circumference of a roll. This is normal, you have not been penalised in any way. You have advised rolls were larger than the 5m lengths they are sold as and as such you have received a total of 10m of wallpaper border purchased from the two 5m rolls purchased. Wallpaper unusable due to white marks on all 3 rolls. Still waiting for these rolls to be picked up and a refund.

Having sold through the entire batch of this product without concern or feedback we need to examine this product before we can declare any faults. Having requested the rolls be returned for examination and if necessary further testing etc we are still waiting on the good's arrival. Our sample service offers a customer an opportunity to experience a wallpaper at home to check suitability, this service incurs costs to implement both internally for materials & prep time and externally via postage costs. As such a charge per sample is applicable which covers everything, no additional delivery charges are applicable to UK addresses. We have found this is the fairest way to cover this service, prices are clear for each sample size offered by the service (which is of course optional). Absolutely snide little shop. Other shops offering normal size samples and these offering their cheap snide ones. I've shown a pic of the three samples o ordered online. It's pointless even selling that I'd really not advise using them. Just shop for elsewhere. Don't bother...

A larger size showing almost 4 times the surface area (a 50cm length, 75p more) is also available as an option when selecting samples. No additional delivery charges are applicable to our sample orders, the £1.25 cost for the A4 sample covered everything which we do believe offers a good value way to view a sample at home. Wallpaper didn’t match our other paper abs when going to the post office to return they want £15 return . What an absolute joke on one roll, for a defected product .

We do not believe this product to be defective, simply from a different production run than the original batch purchased elsewhere. We would always recommend that a courier comparison website be used to get the best value return shipping cost. We're sorry that the samples did not arrive as planned, due to the postal delays over the last few months we do need to give the Royal Mail additional time to complete any delivery before this is classed as lost and therefore can be resent. Unfortunately, this matter is beyond our control, we can only try our best.

I ordered a plain jet black wallpaper and when it came it has glitter all over it.. I rang to return this and was told I would have to pay even though what they sent me was completely diffent to the description and pictures online. The women was really rude and put the phone down on me. I don't see why I should have to pay to return these as the information online was misleading. So now I will make a formal complaint and will also go to the FSA.. I wouldn't even give this company a 1 star. They also clearly need to give their staff more training on how to behave towards customers..

Hello Stacy, We are sorry to read your order was not as expected, we do offer a full sample service to check to the suitability of our wallcoverings prior to purchasing rolls. This was advised within your call however staff will not accept being spoken to in the manner that you were communicating which resulted in the termination of the call. With limits on photography and displays/devices, images cannot be relied upon as the only factor when making the decision to purchase. This item is described as: When it comes to quality and durability then Italian Vinyl is the benchmark, Arthouse of Rossendale have been inspired to produce an Italian Style collection of solid heavyweight vinyl wallcoverings under the Vintage Label. I purchase 9 rolls of Wallpaper at £14 per roll the decorator used 3 rolls and found a fault and we decided to return the unused 6 rolls explaining the fault at a cost to me of £42 the returned rolls value £84 I received a refund of £78 the meanies kept £6 despite the fact that I lost 3 rolls so Home Flair Decor have no consideration at all for their customers so be warned bunch of money grabbing meanies under cover of restocking they should have sent me proper paper in the first place,. they do not deserve your business shocking money grabbers sending out faulty goods then have the brass neck to charge a restocking fee

The six rolls that have been received have been processed and refunded in full as requested, no restocking fee has been applied to your in date return. (£13.50 per roll) No roll labels or samples were included with your return for them to be examined, we cannot investigate your concern without anything evidence. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your Home Flair Decor experience. We do feel your one star review to be rather low and not justified here as some information has been left out. We do thank you for both of your wallpaper orders, each 5 weeks apart and for the same pattern. As no batch request was included on your second order, this was picked from available warehouse stock and due to the popularity of this pattern was a later batch number than previously received. Using a mixture of two batches will lead to differences in colour/texture/trim, it is the paperhangers responsibility to check this prior to hanging.

I spent over £200 buying wallpaper from you. I asked to return 7 spare rolls outside of your '28 day return policy' and you have refused. The world is in the middle of a pandemic, nothing is 'normal' right now. Shameful. What other review can I leave?

We were able to fulfil your order for 18 rolls of a single pattern, in a single batch, without a problem or delay, this was delivered safely and within the expected delivery time. We cannot be responsible for delays of third party decorators. We did not advise you on how many rolls your decorating may require prior to purchase. Wanting to send a large proportion of your order back (7 rolls) 50+ days after purchase is too great due to rotation of stock and batches. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your Home Flair Decor experience. We would like to make clear that this order was picked, packed and delivered in perfect condition. Should any problem arise with a wallcovering, all decorating should cease and advice be sought immediately, in this instance this was not the case. As part of your preparations, each roll should be checked through prior to use looking for any problem or inconsistencies and retaining all roll labels until your decorating is complete. You advised in your original contact that you had re-rolled each roll prior to hanging, at this point any problem would have been visible. Reporting an issue once decorating has been completed, worked around or when all labels have been disposed of is not acceptable. A refund cannot be issued without a full damaged roll being available to collect and no roll label available to support a “damaged” roll. In addition, a wallpaper pattern does not always come off the roll as it should be hung. This is not a fault during production, this is modern production methods. Quick and efficient order and delivery process. And what a beautiful border. However all 3 ordered turned up damaged.. Probably that of the couriers fault, but all the same, i am now in battle with the supplier to have them replaced or refunded.. They are more concerned with getting their compensation from royal mail rather than keeping myself as the customer happy. They have given me no faith in returning the goods and receiving my replacement or refund, and haven't even sent me a returns address even though i have requested one several times. On top, they are expecting me to pay delivery once again. I have never been treated so poorly or been so dissatisfied with customer service ever, and at 45 years of age, i have had plenty experience.

We are sorry that your order was damaged on arrival, we have never had an item received that has been slashed with a blade. We cannot issue replacements or refunds without first investigating the cause or source of a problem and gathering the supporting information that will eventually be needed to raise any claim with a courier. After many emails back and forth, which could have been avoided with a call, we were able to see the packaging for the order and the site of the damage thanks to your supplied images. With images of the items and the packaging we are in a position to offer a solution, in this instance a partial refund to keep the items although we were happy to replace or refund on this order once the damaged items had been received back into warehouse. We appreciate your additional concern about the wallpaper border rolls appearing flattened, these non-woven products are soft and flexible (a characteristic of non-woven/paste the wall) and would hang flat once applied to the wall and smoothed over with a wallpaper hanging brush. placed a order for 11 rolls paper, unsure amount i needed, due to corona virous company i arranged to paper walls were unable to come that week , so had to wait, got papering done and had 2 rolls to many returned to company , just slightly over time for returns but in circumstances didnt think there would be a problem, they have refused to refund me and are asking me to pay for return postage , terrible company would not recommend and some of the rolls had faults in them but we managed and didnt complain about them, dont use this company

This order was delivered to you in three working days from placing your order in early June. We accept returns within 28 days from purchase, months on from ordering your surplus rolls arrived into our warehouse in mid August without prior notification. We are not able to accept this return due to this extended period from purchase and from moving on in stock batches. Absolutely terrible service. Had to give it one star to be able to post the review otherwise it would be zero. They gave an undertaking to deliver next day if ordered by 1, a week later still nothing despite promise after promise of delivery times. A complete waste of time. Don't use this terrible company !
