“Good, detailed report and explanation for inspector”

“Matthew acted as our party wall surveyor for the side return extension of our neighbours. When we contacted him regarding some issues with the build next door he failed to reply for weeks. I had to chase him several times and when he finally did contact me he said the neighbour had told him they were sorting it. He did not check this and continued to believe everything they said despite pictures I had sent which showed otherwise. When he did finally come to the house to inspect the party wall the build had already been complete and though his report said their work was illegal and not built according to the Agreement, by this time there was not much to be done. All his communications with me were by phone and he failed to put things in writing even when asked. This has caused me a lot of issues now.”

“We arranged a level 3 building survey with Home Approved after being recommended by my brother. Despite being told their first availability was 2 weeks away, they had a cancellation and so were able to carry out the survey much sooner. We then received the report 2 working days later which was really impressive. The report is written in a way that’s very easy to interpret - so would definitely recommend their services!”

“The process to book the survey was very easy. The report was produced when they said it would and it contained useful information. I had further questions and arranged a call with the surveyor.
