Yes, but you do not explain what an obsolete restrictive covenant means.

I am still looking to find out what happens if you don't need a mortgage as we are buying outright and I have only been on it for 10 mins. But otherwise, it is a very comprehensive website as far as I can tell. I have never bought a property before so having the process step by step with expectations and jargon explained has been a relief.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Being a cash buyer does make buying a property easier and faster as you don't have to deal with a mortgage lender. That said, when you do decide to put an offer on a property, you will want to think carefully about doing a survey. This guide sets out the different types of surveys on offer. https://hoa.org.uk/advice/guides-for-homeowners/i-am-buying/what-sort-of-survey-should-i-have/ You won't have the reassurance with the lender's valuation of the property that you are not over-paying. As a cash buyer, also be careful when buying a new build, and make sure you get a good and independent conveyancer. You will want to make sure that the proper warranties and guarantees are in place. This is especially true if you are buying a property that has been converted from an office building. Good luck, Paula

i hope this site is more honest & reliable than some sites like zoopla, (Honest but inaccurate re Local house prices) & estate agents who obviously want a chance to sell one's house, whether i has much chance or not. i haven't clicked on your'' what's mine worth?''', yet, today, here.

Was horrifying to see that so many people are suffering shoddy building works on new builds. I hoped to find out if I could sue my builder for a major fault that has gone on for 6 months and not yet rectified. It has prevented me using the room most of that time as the floor is unlevel. It did look on the site that there are no solutions and the developer can do just as they like. Time for the government to tighten this up, along with setting limits as to how close a property can be to another, or overlook another and for developers to be open and honest.

the article was sufficiently informative and provided a good overview of the subject I was interested in. The article is written in a clear and easy way that even someone with little knowledge of the subject can get an informative understanding

I'm just beginning a house project and unsure if I need an architect. This site provided me with useful information about the benefits of an architect, and the comments and queries made me aware that vigilance is required when hiring an architect.

It helps me to understand the procedures that I have to go through to sort out the negligence and misconduct of the surveyor at Borehamwood who is not belonging to any governed body. Thank you
