Only gave 1 star as had too! My order arrived on Feb 29th, I sent this back on the same day!! Got an email from H&M to say it had arrived back at the warehouse on 11th of march!!!! Then today 22nd of march the warehouse have emailed me to say the parcel is OK and they will refund me within the next 14 days!!!!! How the hell does it take 36 days to refund someone!!!! Any other business next, zara, tkmaxx, even taking your items back in store your refunded in a few day less then a week. H&M your returns policy is not fit for purpose and I will never buy from you online again feed up of you holding on to my money, I've been a customer for years.

I’m completely shocked by H&M’s customer service. I returned 4 items and they have only refunded me 3 items. All 4 items were in the same parcel so either them have made an error or they are being dishonest. Either way I am left feeling extremely shocked and I feel very disappointed. It has put me off shopping online.

My order of a pack of 5 briefs was delivered wrongly as a single brief. Customer service promised a proportional refund but I received only about a half refund which is totally dishonest. Totally useless customer service.

Dreadful company, the sooner they go bust the better, if you want your paid for items quickly then this company isn’t for you, I’m still waiting for mine that have got lost in the system, and this is over 2 weeks, they use evri courier service which are just as bad as them!! H and M have taken my money though. Your unable to speak to anybody and the so called chat bot system is a complete farce,I will never order from them again.

Actually they deserve 0 stars. I felt very dissapoint when one of the employers didn’t allow me to breastfeed my newborn baby. She suggested me to go in bathroom to do it. Such a descriminated environment!!! I cannot belive it, we leave in a country of freedom and we are not allowed to breastfeed??!!! Breastfeeding is a natural right that a baby have. At H&M they offened you and using a loud voice for every body to hear…. Is the first time I felt so bad for been a mom that want to feed her baby. I will never ever buy anything anymore in there. And I will make sure that none of my friends or family buy there. They don’t deserve any bussines.

Charged 8 times for same item and no refund Ordered a pair of pants less than 24 hours ago woke up this morning to text messages from my bank saying that my card had been charged 8 different times for the same item. Called H&M they said they didn't see an order on my account but wait 48 hours and monies will be added back to my card. My card balance reflects the amount taken from H&M and I do not have access to that money. I asked to speak to management and got the same run around. She basically told me to call my bank and there is nothing she can do for me. I explained that I now do not have the money available to me and the item that was ordered was for my son's birthday and wanted my money refunded back to my card today. They offered me 25% off of my next purchase. I declined and said I needed my money back today and that they should at least send me that Item for free for the inconvenience. Nothing was done. I called my bank they were able to see all the transactions and started a dispute for me. I will never order from them again.

Ladies and men are using the same changing rooms with no doors for privacy. Curtains do not fully close. Luton store is the worst.

I had nothing to wear (honestly) for a friend’s special party - saw a new arrival online at H&M and made an impulse buy! The dress arrived within two days - the day before the party! It looked absolutely fabulous and I accessorized with jewellery and sandals I already owned. I had a lot of compliments on the night from people who didn’t believe it was a £24 purchase from H&M. #result!

Ordering from H&M is hit and miss as to whether or not you'll actually receive your order. Twice now I have ordered suits and they have not arrived. Just lost in the mail. When I called today to find out where my order is that I ordered on 4-11-23, the rep had zero clue and offered a refund. Then I was told I wouldn't receive a confirmation of my refund until it had been processed, within 3-5 business days. I always receive a refund/return confirmation from other companies immediately. Everyone knows it takes longer to receive the refund in your bank, but the confirmation of it having been processed you should receive right away. H&M has terrible customer service and shoddy order follow through.

Awfully Terrible Customer Service. I had returned two items and received refund for only one. Followed up with these people regularly (mostly daily) for 2 months straight. No proper response. Sent them a legal notice after waiting for 8+ weeks asking for my refund money and compensation (Their refund policy is 30 days). They refused compensation and sent only the refund money. Had wasted a lot of time on a stupid pair of pants. Definitely won't recommend H&M. Its not worth the hassle. Would recommend shopping from M&S & Mango instead.

I purchased a king doona set from H & M GPO Melbourne- I arrived back in Tassie to find there were no pillow cases. Following the customer service prompts on the docket I sent a photo of my receipt & item to query support options. I had a timely reply to state as I did not have an account with H&M they could not assist me and I would need to email the store directly using the supplied email address. I did this a few times to have the email bounce back. So I called customer service who after some pleading on my part emailed the request on my behalf. The lady stated it could take 24-48hrs before I got a reply- that was on the 16/1/2023. I rang customer service again today 23/1/2023 requesting support as I didn’t know what to do next- this person suggested I continue to wait as shopping centres are busy. I requested the direct contact for the Melbourne store as it had been over a week and was advised that communication could only go through the number I was calling on & it may take up to 72hrs before somebody responds to my original email. I told this person I was extremely disappointed with the service and had no confidence this issue would be remedied. She told me to have a lovely day!

Waited for my sons clothes for 1 month to NOT ARRIVE! I made 1 phone call and had 4 online chats. No updates just waiting!!! Then they cancelled my order, gave me none of the discounts they promised. Then we Re-ordered the items and paid extra for next day and same thing again!!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! HENNES AND MAURITZ ARE THE WORST!!!! The Customer Service is Terrible too! I waited in queues of 28 people Furious!!!!

Refund policy is absolutely garbage. I keep calling them to tell them about my orders that they've cancelled and charged me for but all they have to say is its not up to them when the money will appear back into my account, its up to the bank. I've never had this problem with any other online store before. If they have to refund the money, i get it back within a day or even within hours, but H&M have made me wait for almost 2 weeks. The customer service tell me that they've initiated a refund for me on the 3rd of Jan 2023 when I have been calling them about this since the 25th of December 2022. Absolute garbage service. I will never be ordering from H&M again and I will let people know about my experience

The incident: Purchased ‘L’ sized shirts and ‘42’ sized waistcoat online from H&M. The shirts were fitting, but the waistcoat was only a size of 36. Therefore, it was too small to use. I chose the size because it is written 42 is equal to L size on the size guide. The explanation from the H&M Company: 1. The waistcoat is a ‘Top’ category product, so its size should be selected from the ‘Top’ category. 2. According to the company’s policy, a product purchased under the promotion cannot be exchanged with a bigger size (not because of the unavailability). Scenario 1: There is no size guide given for the exact product name “waistcoat.” Moreover, it is not mentioned that the “waistcoat” comes under the “Top” category. Therefore, this is primarily an error by the company; the customers are helpless. (The customers are not garment experts to know the categorization exactly. Being a common man, I thought the size guide for the shirt would also do for the waistcoat). Scenario 2: Purchased under promotion should not disqualify the rights of customers to have the correct sized product. If the company has such a policy, that is a human rights violation. It is not appropriate for a civilized society. It must be scrapped. According to the company’s policy, “products purchased under the promotion will not be exchanged” explains that the customers deserve to be penalized for using the company’s promotion by throwing the unfitting products in the trash bin. They boast to protect human rights, but they do not protect humans' rights.

Now after 15 days I am told that the warehouse team is saying that they didn’t receive my 5 other items which were returned also on 12/12/22 but they received only 1 item so refund of only 1 item will be made. The courier guy from Bluedart is wearing the leggings or the ware house guy. That’s how charity happens in Christmas.

The call centre customer care person doesn’t transfer the call for giving feedback on their customer service which is wrong. When u ask for feedback by customer and they wait to give it at the end of the call then how can your human being not transfer that call to that ?? I kept the phone on for 20 mins to see how long the customer service person delays the transfer of my call ??

The return service is unprofessional and for 14 to 30 days after the pickup one has to wait for the money to come back in account. No exchange facility means you go and buy the same product in a different size and wait for the earlier refund to happen for a month. It’s like blocking money. Not acceptable and customer friendly.

I used to LOVE H&M and I was ordering from them on a regular basis for my entire family. However, extremely long delivery times are unacceptable and I'm not ordering from them anymore. They take your money for all the items ordered, it takes forever to deliver, customer service is useless and you don't have the option to cancel your order. Compared to all other sites like Zara, Reserved, and C&A...H&M is just not reliable. Also, many products (sizes) are out of stock.
