“I ordered the 60’s music book. Unlike other reviews I’ve read, my order came in a decent time frame. However, what is disappointing is that for $50 , l expected a book about four times as thick as what I received. It looks like a damn “Golden Book” for toddlers. I’m actually embarrassed to give this for a 70-year old’s birthday present.”

“We had a horrendous experience. We found this business online while searching for gift ideas, and decided to make a purchase. We started building the gift using their online platform. One of the steps is to select the birth year of the person, which is displayed on the front cover of the book. I selected the proper year (1955). At the end, and after customizing every detail, we placed the order. Only AFTER placing the order do you receive a preview. The preview showed the year on the front cover had been changed to 1995- clearly a bug. We called immediately, but the office is closed because they are on England time (a great way to serve US customers, huh). Then, we submitted a support ticket. We received a reply to this ticket the next day which basically said, "sorry we are already processing the order and cant make changes now." We called and finally got someone on the line, who rudely reiterated that they cant do anything about it, and just so obviously didn't care that this gift was ruined BECAUSE of their dysfunctional website. After requesting to speak to a leader or someone who might apply a tiny bit of brain power to the problem, we were utterly ignored for two days and it shipped. The gift shipped to the right person with the wrong birthday. If you are considering a purchase go to one of their competitors- these folks don't deserve another penny of revenue.”

“I recommend giving this business a wide berth. The 'personalisation' is just a printed sticker and the customer service is non existent. They printed the same thing twice on mine. I had the misfortune of dealing with the worst customer service person ever - Yvette, the so-called Senior Team Leader. I SPENT £118 and now have to claim my money back through PayPal as the goods are UNFIT FOR PURPOSE. They really are not interested in customer satisfaction but only in taking money for low quality sub-standard product.”

“Worst company and customer service team I have every dealt with - openly blamed me repeatedly for the package being a week late as they said I gave the wrong address. Made up some garbage about a historic house name which showed on an eircode look up not being on my order - irrelevant when they gave the courier the wrong postcode and county in the first place!! If I know one thing its my own address. Customer service attitude was rude and appalling. Had to literally beg for a refund on the additional express delivery charges which I had opted for”

“The Birthday Book was a joke. Terrible headlines and pictures on front page. No information or articles. I would never have bought this as a 75th Birthday Gift if I had known how terrible it was. If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service not helpful at all.”

“The Book About You that I ordered for my father in law's 86th birthday was a joke. The content was lame and idiotic. No real facts. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the company, I was offered a 20% discount on another product. No thank you. As far as I am concerned, I was ripped off. I threw the book in the trash. May as well thrown the $70 I spent on the book in the trash too. I also purchased a 1935 edition of the New York Times from this company...... doubtfull its authentic. Another $80 in the trash. What a disappointment.”

“Do not order from this company. They did not deliver my order in the U.S. and refused to provide a tracking number. The order was directed to my billing address, not to my home. Then they refused to investigate and either resend or refund. Horrible company to deal with. Be warned.”

“I Ordered a birthday present 5 days to deliver I actually had to phone them to find out where it was , they told me a pack of lies about they tried to deliver even though they admit no card was left .. never attempted to redelivery until I phoned them (present was late ).. they had my phone number so they could have phoned me they never did .. paid extra for delivery what a Joke Please avoid terrible customer service, no apologies no compensation ,…. Businesses like this should not be around …”

“I was happy with the newspaper, delivery, the price is very expensive,but bearing in mind it is a special gift, BUT the box was a huge disappointment, at an extra cost. It does not fit the newspaper in it without being folded over, which ruins the newspaper, obviously. As it an item most people will want to keep-NOT IDEAL . It only needs to about an inch bigger though to fit without folding it!! Just make the box a bit bigger and let people know it will fit the paper for storage- unfolded!!They may even pay a bit more.”

“I would give them zero stars if I could. They want me to review the newspaper I NEVER RECEIVED. The email does not work and the phone number goes straight to voicemail.”

“Terrible service - I ordered a paper for a friends birthday and the wrong one was sent! I was then made to feel like it was my fault I had to send photos to prove I wasn’t lying and then I had to go out of my way to arrange to get it sent back to them before they would consider a refund! THEY SENT THE WRONG ITEM OUT!! I’ve had no offer of a gesture and at the moment, a month later, I’m still out of pocket as they are yet to refund me! I would not recommend this company at all!!!”

“Very disappointed with this service,I ordered a gift for my Father for Christmas on 6/12/19,money was debited from my account on 8th and 2 weeks later and still no gift,I sent a message and the reply was they had a large amount of orders at the same time..though they are very quick to take your money..”

“I purchased a 1957 Times newspaper as a gift to celebrate my parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary. It arrived in lovely condition and nicely gift boxed. It was unique and a lovely keep sake.”
